I make espresso every day with a timemore c2 set at 10 clicks like in the video. Works for me. I understand some people prefer a more expensive grinder that has more gradual adjustments though
Hi i have the ec685 and now thinking of getting Timemore.. Do u stop the timer after the pump stops? And do u use the single or double basket for the 12g of coffee? Thk u
I like your videos very much! I m using same setup timemore chestnut c2+ delonghi e685, with original portafilter, can you give some advise on how to use this setup to ensure the brew time keep between 20-30s with brew yield ratio 2. I tried many time but feel so impossible to achieve it.
You can not reduce the degree of grinding when the coffee grinder is turned off,you can clamp the millstones and the engine power is not enough to scroll them and you will burn the engine .And I do not see the point in selecting the degree of grinding with a standard holder .Buy a bottomless holder .
Nice vids, but this extractions (both) are too short quick... u can try one step finest grinding. Probably you get bigger body in espresso, much flavour... better extraction.
The crema from the pressurized portafilter is not a real crema, you won't get a really good espresso from this portafilter. If you want good espresso, get a bottomless portafilter and fresh beans, roasted no older than 2 weeks. You will probably also need a grinder that can grind much finer. The Delonghi can't do that, buy a better one like the Niche Zero. I can only recommend it.
I just came here to see your coffee station, amazing setup.
Thank you!
Thanks for all your videos, good guide man. I bought the same accessories and it works great
Simple, informative, nice video and sound!
your vids are so relaxing, thanks
Thank you!
On how many clicks you use the timemore grinder?
Hi may I ask if there is other brand that you can recommend aside from delonghi grinder that is automatic? Thank you so much 😁
Usou filtro pressurizado?
is the timemore c2 good enough for making espresso? which hand grinder would you recommend for the same price range? or should i jus get the timemore

@@toofpastetool what espresso machine do you use? Been contemplating on the C2 too.

May I ask you what temperature do you set?
Set temperature to high.
more important to make sure the portafilter is well heated and up to temperature tbh
So a handgrinder is better than the kg521?
Interesting... are there more brands that i can check out? Nice vids btw!
DeLonghi Grinders are not suitable for Espresso. There are many other options, you can find grinders that grind fine. According to your budget.
Is this Machine perfect , do you recommend it for using espresso
I don't recommend the Dedica kg521 grinder.

Thanks, Do you recommend another grinder?
@@يومياتمبتعثه-ل1ل I recommend the ureka minok.
@@ArtyHome many thanks
Really enjoy your vids! Can I ask, do you think a better manual hand grinder (comandante c40) would work well with a bottomless PF and the dedica?
I think it can be done.
The link below as your mentioned set up.

Try using dark or medium roast coffee beans. Adjust the grinder for about 7-10 clicks.
Hi, Can timemore c2 go with bottomless portafilter ?
Yes, u can.

Thank you very much, I understand, but I have made the most fine adjustments that both of these machines can. :)
@@ArtyHome realy? Because my Timemore c2 set at 8-9 click position made very nice espresso , 16g, 28-30s for 30g extract. On Ascaso basic.
@@KK-mf3vc Thank you very much, I will try to adjust something for better results.
@@ArtyHome timemore slim is designed for fast and coarser grinds used in aero press or drip or french press mainly
yes extraction is much too fast. adjust finer and/or increase coffee dose a little
У тебя слишком быстро проходит вода. Чуть-чуть сильнее дави на таблетку при прессовании.
I have a grinder like this and it's not good. Too coarse grind..
