As some one who gained hella weight in my 20’s and 30’s then dropped 180 on Keto only to gain a good chunk back after falling off due to life changes, I get the suffering of the sweatpants and hoodies. I realize the necessity to track my intake and hold myself accountable and am dealing with getting back to my healthy weight again the right way. The anxiety was constant all day just waves. I would wake up during the night before of the can't anxiety. In the 5 months I lost 65 lbs really 65 lbs in 5 months. I'm at 199 lbs now. Holding it there I'm doing keto on and off. I'm getting a GYM membership today. Weight lifting is going to be a problem. Man I can relate to his story so much bro especially with the keto. I followed a keto'ish diet since January of this year, and I saw results too!! I lost 40 lbs after about 5-6 months coming into mid-June but then I started noticing I missed rice, I missed bread, potatoes, etc I missed some goddamn chocolate now and again. It became apparent for me that it wasn't a long term solution. I added back carbs in by ending of July and its been nice. My relationship with food and carbs especially is a lot better these days.I think that whole 6 months was a solid experiment in resetting the relationship with carbs for me cuz God knows I was doing waayyyyy too much before. But yeah, much love Brix. These stories been hitting home bro. I appreciate you

I am at this point again and it never gets easier with age. This story is so true for a lot of us and I am ready for a real solution. I have had these same experiences along with some of the short term weight loss accomplishments in the past 15 years. HS weight was 185, got to 220 then dropped to 200. Got to 245, dropped to 205. Got to 260, dropped to 225. Even dropped 65lbs for my wedding. We know the roller coaster. And the seat belt extensions, 4XLT shirts with 48" jeans, back pain and lack of motivation. Step 1 is admitting you have a problem. I like food and would consider my smoker a second wife. I have been struggling to open up to God again but understand the importance and fitment in this battle. Then this little video pops up today, calling me at a time when I need it the most. THANK YOU.

Can't get fat on fast food in Norway unless you trying to do so. The fast food needs to get approval from the Norwegian Food Safety Authority before it's sold/ their chain is allowed to open (because of what the food contains). This means our fast food is not nearly as tasty as American fast food but with the benefit that we don't get obese, which is good.
But I really want to go to the US just because of what my friends have told me xD They wen't up in weight after just 2 weeks there but the food was so good they couldn't stop eating is what I heard.

The worst part is when you lose 20 pounds, then you gain like 7 and it dosent go back down until 2 weeks later. Anddddddddd you didn't change anything in your diet. It's like? was it muscle? water? fat? Talk about anxiety!

Congrats on the weight lost. I been doing high Protein and modern fats (Fats that come from meat like example 80/20 hamburger meat) “carnivore diet” for 10 years. I don’t eat sugar or Carbs. I do believe it is sustainable. I don’t consider it a diet, I consider it a lifestyle. I am 6’4 220 at 15-18% body fat. It is an unpopular opinion but I do believe that not all food are created equal. I do not agree 1500 calories of pop tart is the same as 1500 calories of meat. Your body breaks it down and uses it differently. This is what works for me.

Healthy carbs kale, spinach, turnips, cucumbers, flax seed, chia seed and a host of other things like pears, grapefruit, apples...can easily kick you out of ketosis if you consume them. This is why I wasn't personally able to stay with keto. However, I am still low carb 50-75 grams a day (healthy carbs) and I achieve ketosis through intermittent fasting and occasionally omad...
This has worked very well for my endomorph body..
With counting calories snd it can't be only qualitative. It has to be qualitative. 1500 calories worth of frosted flakes versus 1500 calories versus spinach, kale, salmon, nuts will hit your body differently. At least...that's my own experience..
    Quality over Quantity

Example ppl if your daily intake on calories is 2400 calories and you want to lose weight or cutting weight to get lean then just subtract 500 from that 2400 then Boom there you go and that 2400 number was an example
