I think the thing I love most about Scar The Martyr is that they're continuously focused on rhythm and maintaining creativity throughout their songs. Their songs aren't purely focused on breakdowns and solos. They're a breath of fresh air to me in the metal world and I cannot wait for their debut album.

Love it!!! Henry Derek is a real find for vocals. The deep, dirty riffs and JJ going at it are awesome. Maybe a little unnecessarily long. Gets a little repetitive. Other than that, can't wait to here some more.

I didn't see you use it tonight.") He was gracious and approachable. (He had a floor tom that made the same sound; the rack tom was a backup...) RIP, Joey. You were my favorite drummer. You still are my favorite drummer.

He writes prolifically & he's the first person to say not everything he turns out is 'knot material. Joey was fired from slipknot so I'm sure they had a damn good reason to get rid of him. Don't get me wrong, Joey is a fucking legend but he's not taking scar the martyr seriously at all and even though the few hits they have are beyond kick ass, in about a year nobody will know who these guys are. However if Joey replaced Arin in A7X that would make life worth living.
