Hydros all day! I threw everything Neptune away. Customer service started going downhill quick just before covid. Had two dosing pumps get stuck on like yours and was professionally told to pound rocks or spend $800 to replace
I’m quite concerned this is going to happen to AI, Ecotech, and BRS now that they’re all owned by this investment firm. This type of consolidation is never good for the customers.
The industry as a whole is on a giant inflation money grab. When it comes crashing down and it will.its going to be back to under gravel days in terms of product development.
Update on the Hydros!???!? I am getting ready to build my first system and have been looking at hydros but im not sure. There are to many negative reviews for Neptune.
I'm kinda hesitant about tying everything together with Neptune stuff, just before the pandemic my favorite local LFS lost $10k+ in livestock when the Neptune system failed on their propagation tank. They got were a certified dealer and got no support after everything so they liquidated all their Neptune products and will not recommend for full system control
I recently purchased a A3 and a ATK, was told to use a diffrent dosing pump for dosing. So I went with a Kamor X01 works great. My issue is that the head unit to the A3 came in cracked and the ATK showed up with no glue holding the magnet to the protective cover.. overall it’s been 3 weeks and I still haven’t record my replacement parts.. I wouldn’t recommend anything Neptune as there customer service is backlogged for a few weeks/months
I'm interested in your impressions on the Hydros system!!! I think my next serious investment will be a controller and have been waffling back and forth between Apex and Hydros...the Apex and it's peripheral equipment is just so expensive....
neptune will hopefully see that people take your advice on stuff, so they shouldnt like if you switch dosers and start recommending the new ones... also glad diggs is home safe
Hey March! Love the vids, I just got a reef casa flat 10 last week and loving it so far. I purchased a sicce 1.0 pump for an upgrade but I'm having a hard time getting it to fit with the plumbing. Wonder if you have any tips or advice
I have the same issue with one of my dos I tried cleaning the button/sensors etc no luck at all I ended up just unplugging the motor and keeping just one end to dose kalkwasser
I never understand why, except ugliness, that people don't put a heater in the display. That frag tank has ugly pipes all over the damn place. And UPC to one wavemaker for emergencies.
It used to be because most heaters are glass and there is a small chance of it shattering in the tank. Never happened to me but you can imagine small fragments of glass in your display. Not fun.
March, I agree with you a lot. But the stupidity on your DOS is bothering me. You do understand, items can fail? It’s not a new DOS and I can see the salt sitting on the top like it’s had saltwater drip into it. I bet you take apart and you will see there is salt creep shorting something

VCA is charging insane amounts for those 3d printed rfgs, they literally cost me 25cents in petg the flex series is just tpu
