    10:16 the way warping/bubbles work, you don't need the nullification to last for whole align time. If you can warp or not, and where you will land if there is a bubble at destination is calculated the moment you press warp.
    Exception is if you press warp (without nullifier on) and during aligning a new bubble pops up on top of you, then your ship will stop

    • @maksymshkopas8686

    Great video! I would love to see an example of surviving warping into a gate camp.
    Every time I get ganked I drop into a bubble with a 'gang of three' where my cloak drops.

      It's not easy to escape once you're caught. It takes practice developing the reaction time and muscle memory to notice you've been interdicted, engage your nullifier, and warp out before being pointed. If you have a corp, you can always do some "safe" practice runs with them to help build those skills. When you're successful, it feels really good escaping a gate camp and subsequent chase. Don't ask how it felt losing a Viator carrying a Tengu, fittings, and loot totaling 1.3B in the 2 minutes before downtime on the last jump out of null tho.....

    I ended up with Gallente haulers just because if you want to do any sort of PI the Planetary Commodity hold in the Epithal is pretty essential. Since you already have to train into Galente haulers to get it, I just kept it going. I only do the most basic PI and it's a fairly reliable 100 million a week. Definitely worth doing if you have 5 minutes to click Extract on your 3 characters each morning, and maybe 30 minutes to haul finished products around once a week.

    At 17:10 you mention that you can use the MWD+Cloak trick with the Blockade Runner. But surely if you're using a covert ops cloak you don't need to; you just click warp (breaking your temporary gate cloak), cloak up with the covert ops cloak, and then about 3 or 4 seconds later you'll warp whilst cloaked.

    good reason to skill into gallente over the other faction when it comes to hauling ship, are the higher selection of specialized t1 transport ships, like you can get the t1 kryos that can carry up to 70k m3 minerals. allso find the blockade runner to be alot safer ship then the deep sport transport. blockade runners are really hard to catch by themselvs, and if you run a scout 2 jumps ahead of it, to make sure you dont land it in a gatecamp, they near impossible to catch, and i feel so safe in them with that setup i have no issues flying around with 10-12 bill + in the cargo on regular basis if i need to

    10:08 The align time isn't important for the nullifier. Typically you align first, get up to speed, then hit the nullifier right before you warp.
    The align time is mostly just important for when you find you've jumped into a gate camp bubble. You need to get into warp before tackle can burn over to you and a pair of scrams on you.

    • @Burbun
      @Burbun 11 месяцев назад +5

      This man talking about the cloak/MWD warp trick in reference to a cov ops cloak ship, and you nitpick about the nullifier thing?
      (That trick is for ships that can't cloak and warp at the same time, simply cloaking and warping with no MWD is purely better on this ship. Nevermind it was equipped with an AB >.>)

    • @diamondmx3076
      @diamondmx3076 6 месяцев назад

      You can and should activate the nullifier while gate cloaked. The nullifier can expire while you're aligning and you'll still warp.
      It only checks when you click the warp button.
      This is different than the WCS which checks both on Warp button and after aligning when you actually enter warp.

    Great video. Love seeing people so interested in hauling as much as I am. I've always thought the names of the T2 haulers are backwards. A gate camp is by definition a blockade. So if you run into a gate camp you'll want something tanky that can muscle through it... Which is a DST. Then on the flip side when you think "deep space", what comes to mind is exploration, being nimble, cloaky even.... Which is the blockade runner. Just my thoughts :)
    A note on your video, the blockade runner can warp cloaked so you don't need to do the cloak/mwd trick and uncloak before warping as you were describing. Just click warp and cloak up and done.

    • @captainbenzie
      @captainbenzie  Год назад

      Blockade Runners are sneaky and can sail through blockades without being seen. Deep Space Transports are tanky because they're often used in mining ops too due to the Fleet Hangar so need to survive the rats etc. That's how I always saw it, at least.
      Glad you're enjoying the videos, and yeah, I'm really enjoying hauling! Great fun running gatecamps. I just love high risk gameplay though I suck at PvP.

    • @Mika-ph6ku
      @Mika-ph6ku Год назад +1

      Nah blockade runners are fast and sneaky ships that can slip through a blockade. Warships would be the ones that have to muscle their way through it.
      The best example of blockade runners in a real world context are the Confederate ones used in the American Civil War. With union sail driven warships blockading major Confederate ports to stifle trade with Europe, the solution the Confederates came up with was to make a bunch of fast steamships that would evade the blockading union warships by sailing against the wind under their own power, where the wind powered warships could not follow. Blockade runners in eve follow this example by evading conflict rather than enduring it.
      As for deep space transports, their classification would make sense if they ever actually got used for their intended purpose, that being logistics support. This is the reason why they have a large fleet hangar instead of a large cargo hold. DSTs were intended to be used to carry supplies and ammunition for fleets operating remotely for extended periods of time. Unfortunately, player combat just never really took this form. Whenever large player corporations are going to be operating remotely for a while they will just anchor a staging structure to base their logistics out of.

    just so you know, you're better off keeping the align time above 14 seconds, because a MWD lasts 10 seconds, meaning if you cloaky mwd (or just pulse mwd) when it ends, you will always warp in 10 seconds.
    this allows you to be 10s align but fit stuff like damage control or power diagnostic, heck even cargo if you want.
    run triple prop instead of shield extender:
    MWD for cloaky mwd or just going fast
    AB for when scrammed (MWD doesnt work when scrammed)
    MJD for escaping sticky situations with cloaky+MJD trick, pretty much uncatchable with this.
    It sounds silly but give it some thought. If you are caught by a significant gatecamp, you're already dead. escaping is more important than having EHP thatll make you still pop, just a minute or two slower.

    Have you considered an afterburner instead of a jump drive? The afterburner allows you to align in 8s flat, without having to fit for agility. They are also useful to burn to the gate, if you are scrambled and your MWD is turned off. I don't see the usefulness of the micro jump drive since they are also disabled when you are scrambled, regardless of your warp core strength.

      Nah, I've been playing on and off since 2012. Jumped back in properly in April 2022, but the last few months are where I've been focusing on content, hence so many SP and ship options 😉

      @@Spiritt_Daphiti what the fuck are you talking about? he doesn't mean that type of bug. he means bug as colloquialism of catching an illness. and he's using catching an illness as a colloquialism as he's having a lot of fun with wormholing. there's no cheating going on.

    Let's about about align time and interdiction. I think you are over thinking things. Lets say you have 20s align time from stop and you have 10s of interdiction activation. You just got though the gate and there is a bubble. Just align to target, count to 10+, activate your interdiction nullifier, warp.

      @@captainbenzie Ok then you have to explain your hauling idea. 1. Why do you have a cloak and care about align time? You are supposed to be aligning while cloaked. 2. Align time has no connection with the nullifier. You are supposed to click it When you are ready to jump so why does the 13 seconds matter? When are you clicking your nullifier?
