Uploading this video was not fun. My "copyright free" music wasn't free to use. I tried uploading 3 times. Hope you enjoy my work best wishes 🇨🇷🇺🇸🇨🇦
I guess the kraakhan kahgarak just has projectile disfunction
Finally some is talking about this, I wondered what this was when I saw it in one of the books.
Other people have talked about it before. But I wanted to cover all the details and facts including prototypes and various other details. I feel like don't get mentioned as often.
Oh snap! I gotthe pearl gold vohtarak shell from my battle for metru nui set! I didn't know there were different colored versions of that piece! Welp, that's another piece I'll be keeping for my collection.
It's not as talked about as the mask of shadows. Helpfully this video allows more people to become aware of it
These bionicle sets were cool
I had the battering ram and the tower of Toa sets when they came out in 2005
Love the music. This is an emotional tribute
I remember being greatly disappointed in these sets, but still being excited for the future if they improved, since the idea of getting minifig scale sets fir locations within the Bionicle story was very cool, and not unlike what Knights Kingdom was doing at the same time.
I remember seeing an image of a robot from Exo-Force and thinking that was a new Bionicle minifig, and being disappointed when I learned it wasn't, though Exo-Force was still a fun theme.
The only playset I had was Battle of Metru Nui and I remember really liking the gold Visorak that came with it as I never got any of the real ones either. It was cool that the big Lhikan mask could sort of be worn, though I recall bumping my head into the Rhotuka launcher at the top. Also yeah, gotta love those glow in the dark pieces. - Waj
I got the Battle of Metru Nui set with box and all but most of the pieces are scattered around (I should still have them all tho). Def gotta go through all my old legos to rebuild the whole set!
man I had a dream about the set thinking it was rare but I just started seeing people selling for the low that's crazy
Rip Comment: KARKAT EL CESAR ENVIADO DE SAN PABLO: I would talk about it... IF I HAD THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lost to us 7 hours ago in my first attempted uploading
The Toa Mahri playsets were a huge improvement imo
These come out in the exact moment I were starting to get bored with Bionicle and getting to prefer the standard bricks. I had the Visorak gate for Christmas, and I still remember it as one of my fondest christmas of my childhood
Always wanted these. Especially the 2007 sets.
Thx for covering these. Would be cool if you go into the alternate builds these had.
Maybe in part 2, I'll mention it. Thanks for reminding me about that I had forgotten.
I had battle of metru nui, the big red castle and it came with those green wire 1x2s and strings instead of the more common studed string. Its a common variant that's in these sets as for when and how long the variant was produced is unknown. I think I got the castle for christmas that year but my birthday is also late so might have gotten it on my birthday I can't recall for sure. My birthday would be closer to release
Thank you for the info, I thought I was the only one for a minute there.
I was also kinda suprised that you didn't get the tower of toa Kahgarak to work, I got that set recently second hand and so far mine fires without issue.
It worked watch the tower of toa section again 😉
It was cool getting huge vehicles and locales for Bionicle. I had some of the Mahri and Hordika sets and they were easily my favorite system sets after PowerMiners. Having Bionicle in that scale was amazing and the kits themselves came with great pieces for Mocs.
I'm debating on getting the mahri sets as I've only heard details from fans and think a third video would be great but we'll see
@maskmakerbuddie2001 I can tell you first hand that I preferred them from the Hordika sets. They were more creative and leant into the underwater theme. All great sets though
I remember seeing this when I was little online it was the toa Mahri set , it was vehicle they use , I tough I just imagine it but it’s real , I wouldn’t mind having it today it looks cool
It was pretty interesting to see a review of all of these. I've never actually looked at all these before.
I definitely hope my coverage of these sets will allow more people to appreciate them.
The 2005 playsets have a clunky charm to them. 2006 was a clear improvement, but my favourite bionicle playsets have got to be the 2007 ones
Hopefully in my second video I get more into that
Glad someone talked about this
Bionicle board game
The only Visorak I ever had was the one I built from the gold torso piece from the Visorak Battle Ram, with blue legs (light blue pieces for thighs and connectors used from Blue Piraka, front limbs used light blue bohrock limbs from Hahli matoran.
Claws and the frame I ordered online.
Looked amazing though, and was special
That system style of sets haunted me until I bought one 😂
Back then i had the visorak ram but somehow pieces got lost right away and i couldnt find them again so i never completed the set
But i loved the glow in the dark visoraks and i still have them here
I had the tower of toa. Was so much fun!!
Will you ever talk about the Bionicle playsets from 2006 and 2007?
So I actually have future plans on reviewing the 2006 and 07 playsets however I personally want to own them. I currently have 2 of the 2006 playsets, but I own the other 2 and they're quite pricey. So it might take a little bit of time before those videos get out. However, more than likely, it will eventually happen, so stay tuned.
@@maskmakerbuddie2001 Alright, i can't wait for your reviews of the Bionicle playsets from 2006 and 2007 ^-^
