Those metru bundles are quite the trip down memory lane. I recall seeing them in the supermarket toy aisle all the time. I got this bundle called the ultimate battle set which was this big plastic bottle that came with Nuju, Nokama and 3 Vahkis.

Thank you very much . For years, Kinemaster was my go-to site for editing. However, now there are a lot more better editing software available, so rip Kinemaster 2016 to 2023. I'm hoping to make more content now that editing is a walk in the park.

The Toa Metru Twin packs did actually come with 2 canister sets and the launcher pack. Should remember that 2001-2004 Toa canisters were not that large.

I think you’re overthinking the logic of value packs. IIRC They’re not necessarily made to sell overstock of unpopular sets, sometimes they’re made just for the explicit value bundle, the needs and offers of certain retailers, or just extra ways to promote/sell the current rosters. Besides, most of these weren’t made months after the fact when the leftovers built up, they were made and sold concurrently with the rest of their series. Not that there couldn’t be overstock cases (there’s some Eastern value packs with Toa Mata and Bohrok with the Nuva and Rahkshi, so the entire Mata Nui saga in one box), but that’s not necessarily the rule for their production logic.
As far as personal memories, the Hagah pack is one I remember well. The weird thing about that was buying it from Walmart was the only way to get Toa Norik in the USA. Was very insistent with my parents that I needed that set for that, lul.
Well, definitely, before I made the video, I honestly had no idea why these existed however, new information has come up. Which has revealed that most of them were sold in big retail stores and as sort of deals, but regardless of what I thought the reason they were being sold. I'm just hoping more people find out about them now because of my video. Also, I'm a bionicle fan overthinking is what we do.

What is the green Bionicle at 8:04? I swear I had two of these, one being a darker green than the other!
That's Toa Metru Matau although he only comes in dark green so it's possible you had a miscoloured version or bootleg as Matau only comes in Dark Green.
So for the toa metru 2 pack there might actually be one version for each possible combination this is unconfirmed however but versions with Nuju and Nokama and Matau and Whenua exists as well as a Onewa and Matau one
