I saw them in south carolina a week later..They were awesome!!!!
This concert was AMAZING!
A tour with RED and Skillet is amazing, too bad they didn't come to my area.
Great video! I was there, blown away when they played this. Heard John from Skillet on 97.9x before the show, said this is his #1 favorite rock song. Hope to be posting videos later today.
❤️
@crossfade4590 i was working out in lehighton,pa for roughly the last month. That radio station 97.9x is probably one of the best stations i've ever listened too.It kicks PGH 105.9x's ass.I never heard a bad song in the month i listened to it!!!
@markswartzvids... I was in the 5th row center, having trouble converting my videos, hope to figure it out this weekend as well.
@Emcmillin09 well yea enter sandman is the theme of hammerstein ballroom it debuted in it
i was in row R, right side orchestra, i forgot to bring my camera
@OrganicDad Like someone else already said, it's not terrible to play a song like Enter Sandman even if you are a Christian band. As long as the song isn't vulgar, then I don't see one problem. And just look at some of Skillet's own songs they play. John said he wrote Believe as a love song to Korey. John's also said that not every song on every record is just about Christ. They write songs about Christ along with other parts of life. I think that's how the band is able to reach so many people.
@Invisable08Racing Heck yea, Saw them too in lansing
@crossfade4590 Thx...It was a great show. I recorder in 1080p but it takes 2hours to download each song. I may do it this weekend. I think this still looks pretty good for being converted sown to 360 and 480. I have many more....check them out. Where were you sitting?
Lol, John droped his pick. That's why everyone should have pickholders! (That sounds like an ad.)
This made me learn Enter Sandman, I thought it sounded awesome acoustic and so I learned it. I don't like the plugged in version as much though, and John sings it better than the Metallica guy, I think.
@texasmusicaddict34 At 2:48 you can see him looking on the floor for it.....
@OrganicDad Just because you are a Christian Rock Band doesn't mean you were not inspired by bands like Metallica. Often times bands like to do covers of popular songs from their inspirations to pay tribute. If I had to guess I would say that is what Skillet was doing here.
@oblivionfreak1115199 He finger picks on the bass, so he wouldn't need a pick for that. And for the acoustic part he needs one.
@markswartzvids anyways, it was epic :D
@markswartzvids do it man!! this was awesome footage, plz do it 4 me =)
@oblivionfreak1115199 cuz he didnt think he'd lose it? lol, idk, maybe it's cuz he's normally a bass guitarist?i saw skillet live so... xD but as a bass guitarist(who generally doesnt use a picck)i can see how he wouldn't think to have a back up except with the other guitarist(when red's lead singer comes out you can see him going to her for one xD)
1:50 "you dont say!?"
lol alot of the audience from knew the song
@xHybr1d
Sorry make that 2:58...hit wrong key.
Wow lol a christian rock band playing a cover of Metallica Enter the Sandman...idk why this shocks me but Metallica is a Thrash and now Nu-Metal band and for skillet to do a cover is...Pretty damn cool (Coming from a Metallica Fan) (= you go Skillet.
Black should be black, and white should be white. Being lukewarm isn't what He prefers.
Then stop watching them..
Should have done it harder
Still not as good as MTV Unplugged.
If having one shitty band ruining a good song wasn't bad enough then have 2 shitty bands butcher it. Cliff Burton is turning over in his grave
Not a big Skillet fan these days but if you can listen to Of Beauty and Rage and tell me Red is a bad band, you're brain dead
U lack in music taste
