Well done mate that shower was a mission! my head would have gone 🤯 😂😂, I see 4 👎 what the hell is that about , come on !!! he has just built the centre console of the F*****g starship enterprise in bloody 100 degree heat !! What more do you want from the guy !!!!! Big 👍👍👍👍👍 from me 😀 can’t wait for the next one 😀
Thanks Russell 🤣🤣👍🏼👍🏼
Yep I always get a thumb down before the video has even been watched 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️ haters gonna hate
Moved to Australia and no jobs installing boilers so spent 10 years concreting for a company out there, absolutely loved it!! Back in England installing boilers again now!!
What a carry on
Yep…. I remember this well🤣🤣
Aww I enjoy working with you sims great to watch you. Thank you. You great man. See you.
You show how a true professional works to the highest standards. Great to see.
Thanks Steven 👍🏼👍🏼
Beast of a shower those. I’ve fitted a few HG showers but not that one. Looks like you had a better Friday than me. I got home late after a full day in a loft (no fan) and then had to wait for word from the wife who’d gone to hospital for some check ups and a possible stay. Went to bed around 1 am was just going over and phone goes off. Drove to Scarborough to get the wife and ended up stuck there for an hour or so and got home around 5 am. Bloody knackered.
Bloody hell mate, hope the good lady is ok buddy
@@MJTiffPlumbing yeah she’s good cheers.
Hi mark
I had 8 of these to fit in a huge house also the wall mounted bath taps similar x 8 had great fun
👍🏼👍🏼
Love thoes a little video on Friday mark
Excellent Mark fitting that shower
Thanks Robert
The size of that shower head is something else, looking forward to the video of seeing it running. The price and engineering for that shower is eye-watering.
Very well engineered to be honest…. And what a thing 🙌🏼
Just but watching you putting everything on that shower gave me a Headache lol 😂. You deafly got patience mate great video as usual👍🏻
Hahaaa…. Yer it certainly took some concentrating….
That shower definitely brought back memories (nightmares 😬)
I did one about 4 years ago with body jets, didn't have the fancy head though.
Hahaaa…. Some bit of kit ain’t they
Look forward to this every Sunday 😎😎
Thanks mate
Fantastic install on the shower looked super complicated but you managed no probs well done.👍😎👍😎👍😎
Thanks Richard 👍🏼👍🏼
Well done mate - one for the plumbing CV that shower. Goes to show how complicated Plumbing can be, which is why we love it. Keep going 👍🔥
Thanks mate
A very nice job there mark 👍👍👍. Some times you just have to take your time on tricky bits and just read and read . Very nice looking shower.. tied up some other jobs as well . So hope you got an early finish .👍👍👍
Thanks John….. yep just sit back and take your time, only way to do something like this
Great work on the shower, excellent video as always 👍
Thanks buddy
What a job that was for a shower, albeit a nice one, so many things could go belly up with that if the instructions bot followed to the letter. Good job though especially in that heat mate so we’ll done and I look forward to seeing it all working in a couple of weeks, all the best.
Thankyou Steve….. yer the heat was a killer, good job I took the fan
Yh I fitted one of them few yrs back hansgrohe nice bit of kit if I cud upload the pics I would.
👍🏼👍🏼
Nice one Mark great video bro .
Good content as usual mate👍🏻 That shower is what day rate was made for😂
Indeed buddy, “The DayRate Shower install” should of been the title
Wow, well done, that shower was a beast. That is at another level for installation, great job and a great shower I hope, for the customer. Nice toilet exchange too, that mains water connection was great, it would never go that well for me. I hope you had some rest over weekend. I look forward to Wednesday, well done on reaching 7k subscribers, the lads at your plumb base are a great bunch. Take care, regards, Chris.
Thanks Chris….. yer they are top lads in there, always a laugh
Fair play chap! Im not sure my brain could have processed all of that! 😂😂 another great video!
Hahahaaa cheers mate, just take your time
Well done mate keep up good work
Thanks Sam 👍🏼👍🏼
Not sure I would film my self fitting a £3000 shower. 😂 You must have bigger balls than me. Great vid as always.
Hahaaaa….. good to share this with you all
Hansgrohe rules mate got to b the best on the market. Still a stress to fit though hahha. Grate vid mate keep them coming
Thanks David….
If mecharno did a shower this would be it fair play mate patience is a vertue 👍😎
Thanks mate
That shower looked mint mate and it's good to be tested now again mate keep up the good work and congratulations on the 7000 👍🏻🍺
Thanks Jon 👍🏼👍🏼
I must admit when I first opened the box I was like “no way” but I really did enjoy it… keeps you on your toes
Some fine German engineering there , looked like a real test of nerve but looked fantastic, keeper coming really enjoy your stuff. 🚽👍
Thanks mate, yes very well engineered
That shower did not look fun, but all worth it when it’s done! Top job
Thanks mate
You know what I quite enjoyed taking my time and slowly building it up as per the instructions, never done one before so it was good to tackle it
M J Tiff Plumbing it soon comes together, they always look harder than they are, and if you take time with instructions you can’t got wrong
Exactly mate, that’s 100% the key to doing things like this…..👍🏼👍🏼
M J Tiff Plumbing, I am a apprentice just done level 2, on too level 3 now, my gaffer got me a van a year ago and been learning on the job, these vids are great to pick up little tips, every day is a learning day
Crazy design, buttons have plastic lugs - they will become brittle over time- bet the buttons won't come separately as a spare either. Great workmanship and quality of installation
I agree Lee…. However to be fair to Hansgrohe EVERY little bit has a part number in the book for this issue if it ever happens (I would hope it wouldn’t at that price though)
Seen you by the lights at St Johns friday around lunchtime, will bib the horn next time 👍
👍🏼👍🏼 yer give me a hola mate
Hi Mark that shower looked a real nightmare you must have some patience very complicated what a headache if anything goes wrong have a good week
Thanks mate, it wasn’t too bad to be fair, I quite enjoyed it
Fair play. Good luck to someone getting the call to repair that shower later down the line 😬
German engineering makes servicing, repairs very very easy
Nice Vid Mark thanks for taking the time.
I've always wondered if any of this Gucci flashy bathroom /shower bits last the test of time, as you know plastics and some metals look awful after a few months of use. Also hard water makes a mess of anything shiny.
Thanks Nath…. All depends on how it’s looked after I think..👍🏼👍🏼
Are you old enough to remember The Krypton Factor? That shower reminds me of that
Hahahahaa brilliant
That shower! Very fancy. I defo have a headache now! 😂
Good video mate. Sound was a little low in places, perhaps you to need to wear an external mic? Enjoy the rest of your weekend. 👏🏻
Cheers mate…
The sound drop was due to the other noisey tradesman in the background… then it picks up.
Great videos
Thankyou Leslie 👍🏼👍🏼
Wowza
Yep 🤣
Reminiscent of cartridge valves in hydraulics, but plasticky, and appearance matters.
Let’s see the shower working MJ!
It’s in one of the follow up videos from this build mate 👍🏼👍🏼
@@MJTiffPlumbing great! Let me know where to find it please. Would you say the showers worth the money? I’ve got an aqualisa smart shower and it is good, just wondering if the one you fitted is much better….
It's shit like that shower, that made me quit plumbing and move to live on an island abroad next to blue sea and white sand never to pick up a spanner again lol. But I still can't help watching plumber vids. How sad am i lol
Hahaaaa it’s not that bad is it🤣🤣
That shower tiling is really not growing on me. It's like the converse of feng shui the way it is put together. I bet it is pricey but it needs more planning care and symettry from the tiler to pull it off.
It’s a random pattern and that’s how it’s tiled…. I just do the plumbing 🤣
Fair play👏
👍🏼👍🏼
That sort of shower looks great in a showroom but its got so many unnecessary valves that after a few years one is bound to fail! I'm sure even your Shower man would have difficulty finding ones to fit!!
It’s a HansGrohe shower….. it’s top of the range and they have amazing backup👌🏼
That shower ... had to fit one a bit like it - leaked from day one - still waiting for manufacturer to come and fix under guarantee!
Oh dear… hope you get it sorted
Bring back the old Dolphin Showers. Cold feed in call electrician job done. lol
🤣🙌🏼🙌🏼…… deffo a lot easier than this thing!!!
At least when you have finished fitting all the shower parts you can save the box for ya Christmas balls....boom still winning
Hahahaaa brilliant
shout out to ben doing all the easy jobs like me
Hahahaaa….. Ben is living his best life and taking the glory mate🤣🤣
So many parts for one valve
That’s German engineering for you
how do you accertain if there is a leak behind
Have confidence in your work….. (and pressure test it😉)
How complicated was that shower? Well done, you, for keeping at it on those hot days!!
Thanks mate, it certainly tested me in the heat
Very impressed with that shower install, I hope you celebrated getting it done with a beveragino or 2 🍺🍻, what is this shower called?
I did have a few😉😉
HansGrohe Rainselect 5
Love the channel and content. Not a criticism but the audio sometimes is all over the place to quiet usually. Keep up the good work mate
Thanks mate, yer the chippy in the other room was overpowering the audio and fading it down…. Strange
👍
🙌🏼
Well done on fitting the shower valve Mark - personally I would of had a cry in my van fitting that 😬😁 and that is why I don't install bathrooms 👍 How jammy were you with that toilet supply ? Normally it would be 5mm too short 🤔
Haha…. There was a point where I was beginning to lose the Will to live with it🤣🤣
Yer lucked out with the toilet swap, it all lined up perfect 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Awesome job pal. Just a quick tip for you. The chap at plumbase may become more famous than you (soon he will have all the big you tubers asking him to say the famous words “like comment subscribe and share”
Hahaaaaa…… He can have the fame if he wants it🤣
Why would anyone need a shower like that, I prefer a bath, but when I do have a shower I’m in it for 3 minutes, I admire your skill and patience though, great job
Thanks Malcom, some people like the finer things in life I guess
Guess you're qualified to install a shower on the space station after doing that 😂
Haha…. I will pop it in my CV 🤣
I don't really understand why a lot of the sub assembly is left to the installer, seems like it could be done in the factory? Top job tho
Thanks mate, I think it’s so it came be configured to suit what you want
Don’t they make things complicated just for shower keep it simple mate it’s nice until you have problems
Massivly overcomplicated
Seems a bit excessive shower for such a small shower tray. I would of had the head on the back wall so the head aims down the length of the tray
Couldn’t be done due to the depth of the wall on that end, wasnt deep enough to take the Ibox…… things like that need to be taken into account, this isn’t the first job like this I’ve done unlike some that would of done that and hit issues at the end
Preparation is key.
As for being excessive…… it’s what they like so they have it, money isn’t an issue
If you ever thought a rubiks cube was hard then came the shower from hell 🤓🤓😂😂😂👾👾👾
Hahahaaa
superb m8 you could do with a longer vlog on just the shower explaining more n seeing you pulling your last few hairs out🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
👍🏼👍🏼
Man you NEED to ware some gloves when you smashing pot up like that! Seen plumbers come into our plumbing counter with some serious and life changing injuries and cuts to hands from smash pot.
Thnaks mate, im always really careful but thanks for the heads up
Do u still install the boilers but get him to sign off and check work or u just do plumbing
My gas guy does all the connections etc that he needs to do legally
Shower looked nice, but how bits. You cannot price for a job like that especially if you have no clue how long its going to take. 👍🏾
Day rate on this one
How do you charge for fitting a really time consuming shower like that one.
This is for a builder I work a day rate on
Alot of bits always wat h ur bids on train to work
What an absolute nightmare that. Shower looked....looked nice when done though
Thanks mate it’s a proper nice bit of kit
some say NASA are still looking to retrieve their shower project that was stolen some time ago .. jesus christ, what a shower ! :L
Hahahaa…👍🏼👍🏼
How’s we supposed to price 2nd fix ??? FFS
Get a good price in, like I said in the video I would say this was a 6/7hour 2nd fit, following everything to the T….
🤘🤓🤘
🙌🏼🙌🏼
Why are you NOT gas safe!?
As said in the video, I don’t do enough boiler work etc to justify it, I have the guy in the video do my breakdowns/servicing etc for me and he passes me stuff he doesn’t do plumbing wise….
Sorry bud I wrote that whilst watching the video and then carried on watching the rest and you explained it! Lol. Only reason why I said was your a decent plumber so thought why aren’t you gas safe, plenty of more work in there too. But fair play 👍🏻👍🏻
I was Gas Safe years ago but just didn’t warrant the cost etc when I can sub it out to a buddy
customer better not lose ur phone number, nobody else is going to want to repair that shower when it fails
Hahaaa… it’s engineered that well it will be so easy to work on to be fair, now I’ve done one it would be very straight forward to do another I think 👍🏼
Ah the rain select shower I know this work of evil well just for the life of me cant understand what the 3 modes for the drench head are all about 2 of them seam completely pointless
Yep, the one where it just dribbles out is very odd
bet your glad this over -nightmare job ;;;;
One for the locker🙌🏼
balls of steel kid
Thanks Dave….. this was a very edited down version aswell🤣
Why? It's a shower. I can kinda understand why it would be important that tech can make showering safer. Thermostatic controls for vulnerable people. Various shower heads, adjustable spray patterns etc. But....why?
So unnecessary complicated. Expensive to repair and finding spares I'll bet is like finding rocking horse shit.
"Everyone wants a cell phone that can make pancakes and rub their balls for them!" - George Carlin.
Bet it states warrantee null and void unless scale filters are fitted?
"They're putting chemicals in the water. It's turning the frickin' frogs gay!" - Alex Jones.
To be honest I agree…. I wouldn’t spend that amount on one but to some people they want the best…. And this is the tip of the iceberg on this build
A fool and his money are soon parted
Man that shower installation look 😓
👍🏼👍🏼
Looks like u need instructions for instructions lol
Too right mate
what pain in the arse
To be honest, taking your time and going step by step it wasn’t THAT bad
Don't like the tile design
Customer did….👍🏼
