Nigeria has a population of over two hundred millions (200,000,000) people. Those FEW ones talking bad about Nigeria must be the failed and lazy ones among them. NO nation on earth rewards laziness. Yes, Nigeria as a country still has some issues to fix, but hang on, which nation on earth doesn't have issues to fix? Well done girl! Nigeria is a land of opportunity.
Some people are just waiting for the government to come and baby-feed them or do everything for them. They complain too much. This lady left stable electricity, good roads, security proof life, etc in the UK and went to Nigeria to face the challenges even though she did not have the advantage of growing up there. Today she is successful, and tomorrow some people will say she got unfair support from the government or so? Good job Nigerians!
I agree partially with your sentiment and appreciate the optimism, sometimes I do feel that way about Nigerians, that some may complain too much but that was mainly due to my ignorance and lack of understanding of the life of the average Nigerian. Today, I have equally the full respect and empathy for Nigerians who complain because they have realized and have noticed that there is a problem. Trust me, Nigerians are full of pride and very confident in themselves, so when they complain, things are bad. In total, we need people who are aware of problems and people who seek solutions. I think some Nigerians are hopeless and we need to continue to encourage them rather than point them out as being lazy. You see, this brilliant young lady had left Nigeria and was able to return with a different perspective. She gained more knowledge and experience in an environment where she had the opportunity to flourish. How many Nigerians have those opportunities? Only a few exceptional people can overcome the poor environment conditions in which they were raised, we should continue encourage them.

You see ehn, this is what I always tell my friends here in Nigeria. We work so hard and we don't believe on ourselves, instead we want the president/government to do everything for us. Dangote didn't wait for the president/Government before he became the richest man in Africa.
Love what she is doing with the 17year old. I always say we all have to have skills trades ( learn how to work with our hands) even though we have our other academic qualifications. Most of our Nigerian youth are relying on politicians saying they have failed us,God will never allow me to be lazy and be depending on politicians,God Bless d hard working Nigerian youth
Tell them please. They've become finger-pointing experts, many of them. ''Our leaders'' did this and that. For some strange reason those ''terrible'' leaders have been unable to stop this young woman, and many other enterprising Nigerians who aren't seeking excuses for inaction.
Tell them Jerry. I just don't understand this notion, that we have to wait for the government to fix everything. Nigeria and Africa is changing economically and growing, and many of our youths, cannot see the mindboggling opportunities around them. I told my 2 young brothers, that there is no excuse. All they talk about is finding a job...or continue to stress me about giving them money. Yet, they are social media ALL day, just chatting and criticizing the government. I have explained to them, that they have more access today, (than when I was their age 30 years ago...when there was no internet, no cell phones, no such thing as globalization.) Every time I show them what Wode Maya, Miss Trudy and others are doing...they'll still make excuses. I don't know if they are just mentally lazy or have an entitlement syndrome.
@@JohnEyubehdabron They are BOTH lazy and feel entitled. I think someone told them that because Nigeria is an oil producing country, they are entitled to live like princes, and if that isn't the case, their govt has 'failed'. Someone should tell them their 210 million population means the oil revenue is not enough to have them live like the Arab sheiks in kingdoms numbering 2 million, with bigger oil reserves than Nigeria.
@@JohnEyubehdabron I doubt that the Nigerian youth are asking Nigerian government to provide everything. Most are asking for their government to provide the necessary infrastructure and enabling environment for growth. Nigerians are smart, intelligent and diligent hard workers. They will know what to do. Other countries do it. Why not Nigeria? Nigeria as a nation can do better and must do better in order to take its place amongst the comity of nations given the enormous resources at its disposal, including human being wasted with impunity. There is no other way to say it.

If only we the youths of Africa could stop relying on the corrupt government and start doing things on our own, How great that would be.
Blaming the government gives many Nigerians the comfort of aborting their responsibility of citizenship to this country.!
I think it’s not really about relying on our government, it’s about holding our government accountable especially for the future of the country.
After all your hardwork, that government will sell you to China..Take charge of your government.. It can make or mar you
You see ehn, this is what I always tell my friends here in Nigeria. We work so hard and we don't believe on ourselves, instead we want the president/government to do everything for us. Dangote didn't wait for the president/Government before he became the richest man in Africa.
After everything you worked for bandits will kidnap you for ransom, everything starts and ends with good governance.
Love what she is doing with the 17year old. I always say we all have to have skills trades ( learn how to work with our hands) even though we have our other academic qualifications. This way we will always have something to fall back. And e en have more people becoming entrepreneurs.
Let's normalise this way of thinking.
Thank you both for sharing this.

Jerry ukpabio you lie most Nigeria dont believe on any fucking leader because you and I know they are there for there own pocket any Nigeria that is waiting for leaders he or she still have a long way to go
I'm Nigerian, trust me you're the best youtuber
