Just picked up the game and i wws super lost, so I decided to scour youtube. Thanks for this guide! Super thorough explanations and easy to undersand. You have earned yiurself another subscription my friend 😃
I have never heard of this game but I’m glad this video came into my recommended. I might play it sometime and reference this video some more in the future lol
It really is a lovely game. I regularly find myself coming back to it, and it continues to deliver a rewarding, challenging experience. If you ever need any tips in the future, please feel free to reach out!
Ive gotten familiar with the game before i watched this video so I didnt learn much but wanted to see if i missed anything. All i gotta say is your commentating and explanations are superb. Very high quality video thank you 🙏🏼
As someone who recently started playing wildfrost again after finding out about 2.0 this video is still very enjoyable and I even learned some new things myself. (I'll admit I did not know crowns could be moved around until now and I feel very dumb) It's cool seeing someone else's perspective and someone with more knowledge on this game. I've been playing completely blind to any meta or strategies outside of what has worked for me so far. Would love to see more on this game, I usually don't watch gameplay because people usually don't provide much beyond what I could get just playing the game myself.
Welcome back to Wildfrost! I'm really glad I was able to help out. I approach these sorts of games in a similar fashion, where I'll get some runs under my belt, develop my own playstyle, and form my own opinions. Then once I'm ready to come out from under my rock, I'll seek out someone else's perspective on the game. The result is always eye-opening -- I learn about things that I never even considered, and the resources they value might be very different to what I value. I then take those perspectives and use them to sharpen my own. But I do think it's really important to play on your own first. You only get to be a new player once, and having that organic, blind gameplay experience is a big part of the fun. Don't tell anyone, but I do actually have a video coming out today! It's even longer than this one, but if you're willing to persevere, it's a full run including the true ending boss. I still make a bunch of little mistakes (I've learned it's really hard not to when the cameras are rolling), but it's a solid run nevertheless.
when i saw that spike had its health decreased from 8 to 7 in the recent update i was so confused because i thought of it as the least useful pet, but your argument makes a lot of sense and i'm excited to see how much use i can get out of it in the future
I'm happy to see folks coming around on Spike! He really is the bestest boy. He will serve you well on your journey, I guarantee it. Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment, it means a lot.
spike was garbage when your cards always got injured if they died in battle but now that they dont unless you choose the bell for it spike becomes alot better
Thanks for the video, it's perfect for newbies like me. I hope there will be other wildfrost videos on your channel, some tips and tricks for advanced players. Keep up the good work!
I definitely need to get back into Wildfrost -- there's just been so many games in the rotation these days! Thanks very much for stopping by; I appreciate the kind words.
Actually Bombom with both those Charms would make her do a 7 damage barrage on a 1 turn counter, you can just recall her whenever she is about to take damage. I could see that be viable, but her lane will be an empty sorry state.
For sure! I definitely need to get another run in, so I can talk about Lumin items, preparing for the true boss, and actually taking on the boss itself. Thank you very much for stopping by!

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm sorry for the late response, but you really made my day ^^
Just got Wildfrost recently as a physical copy for the Switch - I was missing a lot of little nuances before I watched this, thanks!
Thank you so much for watching! Good luck on your journey, friend.

Would love to see a higher Ascension/storm bell run especially going against the final final boss
For sure! I definitely need to get another run in, so I can talk about Lumin items, preparing for the true boss, and actually taking on the boss itself.
