Change Final Drive Oil in a Honda GL1500

Today we are going to be changing the final drive oil in my GL1500 . We will be going over the steps involved to drain, and refill the final drive oil . This is a vital part of the routine maintenance on any Honda ( or any motorcycle with a shaft drive ).

GL5 is another spec to help give peace of mind…. That from the service manual…. Also 80 weight “hypoid gear oil” other clues….
