It's a mid cover. It's not awful, but it's not exceptional either. It's just another band playing a Bad Brains song - they didn't make it their own or unique at all. That's what makes a good cover - not just flat out playing the same song as the original. It's not bad by any measure, but it's nothing special either.

Love Banned In DC and its many takes. One of my all time favourite Bad Brains tracks. There are many faves but Banned In DC is up there with the best. I think the whole band would love this it is certainly high energy. May we all of us love Bad Brains.

Ive seen BAD BRAINS around 20 times over the years.
This is not up to snuff as a tribute. Sorry. Gonna have to up that energy by about a zillion. This sounds like a Jr. High talent show band with some ability.
They got like no footage of the bass player haha and the description says this was attitude and also she got the lyrics wrong. All of my complaints

Anyone calling this a great version lyrically is not a true punk fan. But the instrumental part is great. That’s what made Bad Brains so different as you can’t cover Paul’s voice or delivery.
