So good to hear him play with no mics. Just on-camera audio.
The bass drums at least are going through the PA, and the camera mic is picking that up. But otherwise I completely agree, it's great to hear what such an elite drummer actually sounds like in the room, without all of the usual processing and sampling.

Fuck, it's unreal how clean dude goes even at full speed. I still have difficulty nailing some of the drum fills in Dead Embryonic, much less getting within a thousand miles of this insanity. Inspiring as fuck though, shows me how much better it's possible to be with solid determination.

The switch from Sabian to Zildjian was such a big surprise. Good move by Pearl to finally improve Demon Drives. I might actually pick up a set.
