I can't tell you how many times I watched your video and every time it sends shivers through my spine, the song, voice and music are all so perfect.
I saw your documentary while back when it first came out. I grew up where you grew up, listening to the same music, but people don't realize that many Iraqis from our generation grew up with Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabath's etc etc music
You make us all proud .. I'll be the first one coming to your concert if you come to Canada. Peace
These guys kick some serious ass!!!!!
Just watched Heavy Metal in Baghdad. It's crazy what you guys went through. We're so spoiled here in America. You guys know what it's like to be metal.
Saw them in Pittsburgh last night. They crush it live. Look for them on tour. All the members are really cool people too. Can't give them enough praise.
Metal has needed a band like this for so long!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm reading "Heavy Metal in Baghdad now and I decided to see if there was any Acrassicauda stuff on RUclips... I am totally blown away, this shit's amazing!
just got finished watching the documentary... and this is a HUGE improvement... the drummer really kicks ass, i'm really impressed
I came across this band when I heard M. Shadows reference their documentary on love line a few days ago. Out of curiosity and interest, I checked out the documentary. I loved it and searched for these guys. That's how I came across this video and since have bought their EP. Great stuff fellas, I can't wait to hear a full length album; I'll definitely be picking that up.
Acrassicauda.. A band been suffered to reach what they are now! these guys have done a wonderful journey since they decide to Rock on the blade of Metal.. These guys gained a lot of respect and admire from All the MetalHeads in Iraq and yet all over the globe... Friggin' salute ya'll for the great efforts and risks that you guys have made and done to spread out the word of Metal.. Hats off!
Congratulations guys!! Watched HMNB around a year ago, and it was tough to see you guys and all of your countrymen have to go what you have to go through. Welcome to freedom guys, here's to making the best of it!!! METAL!!!
Now these guys truly know what metal's all about. their struggle is incredibly admirable.
Support from Pakistan!
These are one of those few bands in which you can really say,"Stand up for what you believe in."
INCREDIBLE.!

I saw the documentary 5 minutes ago and need to rush to the computer and search for Acrassicauda: guys you are wonderful!
I've been following Acrassicauda since seeing Heavy Metal in Bagdad a few years ago. They are quite talented, and have a killer lead guitarist! It's nice to see them finally in the states. Hurry to Seattle guys!
Dedication has definetly been paying off for you boys...I would love to see a show if they ever came to america...pure raw uncut rock and roll...F**K YEAH
What a relief it was to see these guys make, after seeing them persevere through so much, and the documentary leaves you hanging. Even better is that it ain't jsut a feel good story, but these guys are the real deal as musicians too.
i saw this video on mtv, watched it on here, found out more about the band, just finished their documentary, and watching this video again, they finally grew their hair out :)
one of the best solos ive ever heard.. still got that arabic sound, you guys are musical genius
I watched the documentary and it really helped to show the conditions over there for everyday iraqis. What a stupid pointless war. This band is really good too. As soon as I get some money I am going to buy this EP.
THE BAND REALLY HAVE GROWN IN SOUND AND VOCALS ..
The production have taken huge leap

Just goes to show, metal is world-wide. Every culture, every people, every race, EVERYBODY loves metal.

I'm just out of words right now. This band is so fucking great and they are making some true metal, plus such a commitment and loyalty to the music they play. Speechless !!!
Suport from Serbia
These guys are epic. So modest and generous. If anybody deserved a record deal and a chance to make it big, it's them.
Saw these guys live. They were AWESOME. If the come to your area, GO TO THAT CONCERT!
They are one of the few bands in the whole world who has the legitimate right to talk about war, pain and suffering in their lyrics.
This was on sirius radio this afternoon, more people should know about these guys, theyre amazing!
Blabbermouth linked me to an interview by these guys, and reading "Iraqi metal band" certainly raised an eyebrow.
This is the first music video I've watched by them... and I think I'm a fan. This is fucking awesome.
Wow, that was great! We are proud to have you in America. I hope you will be able to tour, and play Pittsburgh, PA. All the Best!
THIS IS METAL FORGED IN THE FIRES OF WAR!! It's more hardened then metal forged on the streets of Los Angeles, or in a darkened room. This is the Heaviest of Metals!
My family is proud that you've made it to live in our country, and I for one would call you brother! Keep up the fight and I can't wait for your next release! Always remember what you live through, is what makes you!

Wow, Awesome. I love this band already!Their name means 'Black Scorpion' in Latin.
These guys came here looking to escape all the madness over there & I'm glad they did. All I have left to say is...
Welcome to America! Rock On!
proof that REAL talent still exists....you guys deserve the best.
Gotta thank GW for doing a report on these guys, I've been trying to find new thrash metal bands to listen to, these guys are perfect as well! I love a lot of the new old-school styled thrash metal bands but they all have a very similar sound, these guys have an original sound. It's refreshing to hear something original in thrash
Amazing. Great music. Great mix of rythms, tempos and riffs. I'm glad the world got to know this band in order to get to expand the horizons and mentality of the people of the world. Rock on! great band! love live rocknroll

Dude can't tell ya how proud I am of these guys. Metal is what freed them from hell. Now they are able to do what they love. LONG LIVE ACCRASSICAUDA
the true essence of what metal is all about. this captures the dilligent and triumphant spirit of all that metal music emobodies and means to a generation entrapped within a never ending cycle of war and injustice. this is the voice of fucking NOW, best wishes to the band and i am humbled to finally be hearing studio quality shit from you guys. keep fucking rocking
Middle-Eastern folk music + metal = awesomeness.
Not only do you rock, you are an inspiration!

Got the EP it's fucking awesome. I'm glad Acrassicauda was able to put out a music video. This song has been getting some play on Sirius XM lately and everytime it's on I crank that shit up to max volume.
I can't wait for a followup maybe an LP, these are some badass jams.
Acrassicauda truly embodies the spirit of heavy metal. Keep it brutal, my brothers.
These guys have a lot of talent. Great song!
This is a the kind of mixture of edge, sadness and anger that makes metal great, not like some of the pussified metal bands today, these guys reminded me why I loved metal in the first place, keep it going guys, the rest of the world is riding behind you
Great job dudes!! I just got done watching the movie, immediately after started to search of what was happening now!! Come to Seattle!!
Metal has no borders!
We all rock as one.
Kickass band that doesn't sound like everyone else! That is the best thing about this band--it's metal their way!

these guys r amazing i heard them on sirius and just found them im so happy
This is awesome. Some of the best metal I`ve heard in quite a while.
I read their incredible story in the Newsweek magazine last year; telling how they had escaped from a war-stricken country to the U.S.. Really amazing! I have so much respect for these people.
By the way, Acrassicauda is the Latin name for the black scorpion, the most poisonous creature in the deserts of the Middle East and Northern Africa.
Awesome song! Congratulations on an incredible job. I remember seeing Heavy Metal in Baghdad for the first time and thinking, I really hope these guys get the respect they deserve! Metal to the core! Keep it up.
This band rules! Hail from France, huge respect for these guys!
(Long hair suits them very well! ^^ )
Yeaaaaah, it's great to be able to listen to a well recorded song of this band I discovered three hours ago. That's sounds pretty good!!

They are making their dream come true after years of struggle
They were in the documentery "Heavy Metal in Baghdad". The footage in the background Was real footage , it was thier practice room and it was bombed. Keep it up Guys. METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! \m/

Oh my God....I am so happy for Acrassicauda. The fact that they ontinued to pursue their dreams in spite of all the shit that faced them like that, and they came out on top in the end...they're fucking amazing! LONG LIVE METAL AND ACRASSICAUDA! Mad love for you guys, I hope you make it big here in America, you totally deserve it! And congratulations on the long metal hair! The video is sick! \m/
I'm unable to express how much I liked this.
awesome sound they have. I hope they keep it up cause I'm a big fan
That groove from 0:46 is so evil! Keep up the metal \m/! Greetings from Liverpool, England!
I like that they're not overly influenced by all the modern American heavy metal, because it's not like they had a trough of sub-genres to sift through in Iraq. It's all about classic metal to these guys.
respect from finland!
these guys are awesome! come to Mexico some time
These guys are METAL HEROES OF THE HIGHEST ORDER!
They risked their lives every day for metal, and in return metal gave them the strength and courage they needed to carry on and stay sane in this twisted, fucked up world.
So, let's thank these guys for demonstrating the true power of metal: no matter how bad things get, even when the whole world around you is blowing up and crashing down, metal will keep you going. And that's why METAL WILL NEVER DIE!
So, thanks guys! Love your music!
can't stop headbanging
I love this song ^^ please go to france, i love your band !!!!
badass! heard this on a direct tv music channel, love it! just wish i could find a limewire file for it...
Great vibe! Makes you wonder what we all might be hearing from these dudes in a few years...?
They were in the documentery "Heavy Metal in Baghdad". The footage in the background Was real footage at 1:34 to 1:38 , it was thier practice room and it was bombed. Keep it up Guys never give up. STAY METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! \m/
Lyrics :
The life you reaped
Once had a name
The blood stains your hands
Wrapped in guilt sealed with shame
I grieve for what turns to ashes
And bones and buried beneath the
Garden of stones
When the night is dawn
And the haze ruled the sky
The death marched through the land
I heard the angels cry
I crave what's mine back
All that I have known
Now buried beneath
The garden of stones
very nice quality put into this song and video, i'm glad that they are all still alive and such, and hopefully they'll start touring in the near future :-)
i love the middle eastern vibe heard at points in this song. Makes this band fresh and new, more than 99% of bands can say these days. If these guys dont make it big after all they have been through, there is no justice in the world.
All hail from Germany you will be on air this Saturday on Rockin-Radio.de (20:00 -00:00 CET) very cool song!
