You should talk about midfielder skillsets and archetypes. For example what makes a player like Rice different to a Player like Rodri despite both being considered “defensive midfielders”. Or you can do a video on Wingers / Forwards in general
Coach, can you provide some guidance on what I should do as a right winger when my team is playing defense? Should I go back and assist, or should I stay somewhere in the middle? I'm still young, and we play on a smaller field with 7v7 instead of 11v11. I try to watch full matches and see what right wingers do. For example, when Messi's team is defending, he often stays up top or in the middle, not assisting the defense much. Should I do the same, or should I help the defense in the box by marking a player? Remember we play 7v7 not 11v 11. If u c barca matches (i took 2015 barca as example) Usually the midfield takes care of it; rakitic, busquets and all that. But with me we only have 1 midfield/dmf. Do u have any tips? Should i go back? or should i stay in the half line-ish?
@@jonaslethbach6855 if after you give the winger, he positions to take on opposition full back, make the run. But work with your full back, he may be making an overlapping run so you as the 10 can create depth in the pocket to give room and option for your winger. Small tip: if in that situation you are being man marked make the run. You are a decoy because you've taken the marker out of the game. I hope this helped 💯⚽️

Yes definitely. But this also depends on your coach and what he wants from you exactly. Defensive positioning is down to your coach
