To anyone who is trying this with little crochet skills, keep trying! Patience is the best. It took me an hour to figure out how to do the double crochet stitch but I kept redoing it and I got the hang of it!

I allowed myself a little treat for my birthday and ordered some yarn online to crochet this cardigan. Once I start I will definitely purchase the written pattern as well.
The fact that you came up with the whole pattern, different sizes AND a tutorial, to make it accessible to everyone on RUclips for FREE has me incredibly impressed.

pretty new to crochet but wanted to try this. currently working it a couple sizes up with linked double / triple crochet stitches ( was getting annoyed with how holey my projects have been, and its been a pretty simple swap. bonus points my gauge swatch came out actually the right size when i made it linked, when it was too big regular 🤷‍♀️ )
this video guide has been a life saver. currently only on row 2 but i’ll report back how its going with linked once i’ve worked to the end of this video of the guide.

The length of 2XL should definitely work with width of M/L

Is it ok if i use different measures for different parts?? Like xl will be too large for me and s if fine for my entire body but i want longer sleeves (my arms are longer so the sleeve length should be around 22 inches) and a longer cardigan 😭😭 also will there be any difference if i use 8ply yarn instead??

Yes you can make the sleeves longer before decreasing, just follow the other size for the decrease

  • @akdevi31

Repeat the diamond cables from row 1-row16 (if not mistaken) for the other stitches like the 4 stitch 2 stitch cables and rest repeats row 1 & 2 all the time
