I know that you showed how to add WIDTH but I would like it be longer than what you did, but otherwise your tutorial is very well explained and very clear to follow, so thank you for your great instructions. The colour blend of your yarn is very pretty too, great idea to use variegated yarn so you don't have to change colour or weave in so many ends!!
Hi, I actually have a tutorial on how to add length to a hexagon cardigan! You would add length in the same way you add width, just going around the bottom rather than going up and down the back! You would attach on at the bottom (the same way you attached to add width to the back) and crochet clusters around the bottom (kind of like you crocheted around the sleeve to make it longer)

At about the 12 1/2 minute mark of the video you say that you have reached the measurement that you need, and then continue on to make four more sides before stopping to then show how to join the sleeves. I wanted to ask, what is the reason for doing those four sides first? I worked out that you are leaving the last two sides because they are what will become your sleeves, however I had worked out beforehand once I saw how the colours were forming for my hexagon, that I wanted it turned/folded a certain way, so where my working yarn sits currently, that will only allow me to crochet one side before it reaches the top where the corner is for joining the sleeve based on how I have it folded. I know you would have a reason for doing those four sides first so wanted to find out what that was, and also what will happen if I only crochet along one side, in order to keep it folded the way I like? I was thinking you did this to extend those sides by a bit but wasn't sure, so if you can let me know why those four sides need to get another row done on top of them before joining the sleeve together that would be really helpful, thanks! :)

Hi! The type of cake is Caron Macchiato Cake in the color Serenity. I just checked the Caron website and unfortunately it looks like the macchiato cakes may have been discontinued after only being available for a few months

When I'm making the sleeve, every time we restart the round, is it normal for the starting place to shift over to the right one each time? I placed a stitch marker where I began the rows of extending the sleeve and when I get back to the beginning to put the slip stitch, it's no longer directly above my stitch marker
You definitely could! I would just space them out and not add very many (decrease slowly) so that you don't accidentally make it too small/uncomfortable! I would suggest starting with only a few decreases maybe 1 on the front, 1 on the back, 1 on either side and check the fit/make sure you like it between each row!
i’m running into an issue where the back pieces meet. it keeps folding up and making a little like horn on my lower back. not sure if you ran into this issue/how you correct?
Hmm, if your 2 pieces are perfectly lined up and it’s still folding this way then I would try blocking it! I use a steamer and lightly steam my garments and focus on the seams to help them lay flat when being worn!
It’s just the nature of the way most crochet items fit. In many knit garments (and some crochet ones too) they add short rows in the back to combat this, because the back needs to be a bit longer than the front or else the back will raise up like how you described.
As you continue adding length your sleeves will automatically widen with each row if you don't increase! If you want a larger bell sleeve you could definitely increase!
I've never made a hexagon cardi or pullover with triple crochet but I would think it should still work the same as double crochet (just look slightly different and work up faster)!

Thats normal, the beginning of these rows won't stay in the exact same place!

I used 2 skeins of the Caron Macchiato Cakes yarn! To make a size small pullover I use around 1600+ yards depending on how long I want it to be, etc.

try ch4, sl st into the first ch, then chain three
TL yarn crafts has a video showing how to easily make a magic ring. I couldn't do one until I found her's. It's much easier to understand.
