Mine is not looking like yours at all… how did yours turn out like a square and mine still looks like a star I’m so lost…*couple days later* (I’m already halfway through with my sweater ☺️)
I love this sweater pattern! But I got to the part where you add rows for the middle part but I am confused when you turn the work and you said to dc one time where you hae the dc cluster and do three dc clusher when you have a gap. I am not sure how you get to that part. I tried a differnt method but I end up with 15 dc clusters insted of 16 when i start. Sorry If this is confusing. :)
it depends on how many colors you want to use. i bought 2 skeins of yarn that were 198 grams (7 oz). i used another 2 skeins that were the same amount, but i used about a third of them for a different project and ended up having to buy more (i played some serious games of yarn chicken🤣🤣). just to be safe i would buy 198 gram sized skeins if you’re using 4 colors.
You just continue the granny stitch like we’ve been doing the whole time, but rather than working all the way around (6 sides) you’re only going to work 4 sides, leaving two sides unworked!
25:58 ok so on this part every time that I try to connect them one side of the sweater ( like one sleeve piece ) is lower then the other… is that normal?? I keep re trying but when I follow what you do theirs a little cluster that’s lower then the other piece ??
im not super experienced with adding cuffs, do you skip a stitch and go to the next to slip stitch or do you skip two because it looks like you’re skipping but i also might just be blind
Since i didnt see a response for what colors were used, maybe i overlooked it, i screenshot the image and will get the assistance from a store or go online and get a chart for different shades if green, blue and purple.
the main way to make it bigger is making more rounds for each initial hexagon side. after you do that you can also add length to the bottom and the back of the hexagons once you finished however many rounds you wanna do
I started my jacket and i did the first part, but when it was time to do the sleeve, at the very beginning i got confused especially since i'm left handed. So at this very moment, I am stuck and very confused, because for me it looks back to front. 😭
Idk if anyone else had this issue but when I got to the rows on increasing the sleeve, the ch3 increase each time made my sleeve start leaning the wrong way. Could someone let me know if I've maybe gone wrong somewhere? Love Kamryn's tutorials all the same though, such easy videos to follow!
Hii I’m working on my hexagon granny square pullover but usually when i make pullovers my sleeves ended up a little more puffier than i like after i start adding length, is there any suggestions on how i can maybe avoid this?
add more rows on the bottom after you connect the 2 sides by attaching the yarn and just work your granny stitches all around the bottom kinda like for the sleeves
If you wanna make it longer you’d finish all this n everything and put it all tg and add granny stitch rows on the end if you look at one of her other vids where she makes crochet inspired by books she makes the sweater but makes it longer (no tutorial) but if you’ve been crocheting for a little while u can just eyeball it
You did a very nice job. There was some of the directions. but I figured out what I thought it should be . Walmart has some new colors, and I picked a multi blue with white in it. I had a small skein of a turquoise color that I picked up from the dollar tree and some leftover navy blue that mashed the navy blue in the multicolored skein. It turned out nice. Someone made a comment about you talking too fast. I don’t think you were talking fast at all. My thing was it was hard to see what you were doing because you were flip-flopping your work over and it was hard to tell what you were doing, and you need a slow down a little bit when you’re showing what you’re doing Like which pieces are you putting together and you were using them very dark colors which was very hard to see on the video. Other than that you did a fantastic job and thank you so much. I’m looking forward to your other videos what I love about you is that you don’t sit there and show us how to do a chain and how to do a double crochet etc. etc. I know how to crochet I’m just looking for some different patterns and some different tutorials. You did a great job!

is there a part skipped at 22:47? im not sure how we get from the first row of granny stitches to the second? any help would be appreciated!!
hii love the vid smm❤️ but i dont get how to work the 4 sides at 12:02. which 4 sides is it? 😅

Since i didnt see a response for what colors were used, maybe i overlooked it, i screenshot the image and will get the assistance from a store or go online and get a chart for different shades if green, blue and purple.
I Love your dog❤❤❤❤
how much yarn did you use in total?
How do i make the size bigger? Btw i love ur content sm!!🥰
the main way to make it bigger is making more rounds for each initial hexagon side. after you do that you can also add length to the bottom and the back of the hexagons once you finished however many rounds you wanna do
would love to know how to add a hood to this
I started my jacket and i did the first part, but when it was time to do the sleeve, at the very beginning i got confused especially since i'm left handed. So at this very moment, I am stuck and very confused, because for me it looks back to front. 😭
Nevermind, I figured it out

Do you find it more difficult to crochet with nails ?
what size hook did you use for the Caron Colorama Halo?
Would this look good with scrap yarn
Yessss
What type of yarn did you use, like acrylic or cotton or what
Acrylic

Same here! Mine started hurting out in the wrong way as if I was doing increases.
Does anyone know what I could have done wrong and what could be a solution?
Hello! Am i allowed to sell anything i make from your tutorials?
Of course!
@@KamrynCain thank you so much !
Do you remember where that blue yarn is from ?
I get to 12:22 and I have a increasing side and the other side for the sleeve how can I make it straight instead of it getting bigger😭
How long have you been crocheting for?
trying to focus on the tut but your nails eattt🔥
Tehehe Tysm!!
Hii I’m working on my hexagon granny square pullover but usually when i make pullovers my sleeves ended up a little more puffier than i like after i start adding length, is there any suggestions on how i can maybe avoid this?
decrease granny stitches every other row when making the sleeve longer 😊
You could steam it at the end, it’ll relax the stitches so it falls nicely! Just look up how to steam crochet clothes 🤍🤍
how to make the sweater longer so its not cropped?
add more rows on the bottom after you connect the 2 sides by attaching the yarn and just work your granny stitches all around the bottom kinda like for the sleeves
@@katlyla2244 tysm!! God bless
@@katlyla2244 okay ty
Does anyone have any idea why when I was crocheting my sweater the sleeve was getting bigger?
23:54 at this part would it be six in total with the first row of granny st? Or is it five In total
5 total rows!
love it
1 question!! If I make this but bigger like an XL will it be longer? If not how do I make it longer, bc my mom doesn’t like cropped stuff

Not me clicking on this video cuz im boared as hell😂
You speak very fast . I cant understand. English is my language. Love the sweater though.
You’re confusing the fuck out of me on this four sides thing
My thing is already folding and my thing is already looking without all that you talking about and it’s frustrating
Cause I’m trying to do what you are doing and then it’s not
I don’t understand at all
Dont call it a granny square sweater if its a hexagon and not a square
Granny square refers to the stitch and pattern used, not necessarily the shape it creates
@@lilypearson5309 if you are referring to the stitch then it is simply that; the granny stitch
So confusing

That first sentence was supposed to say there was a little bit of confusion on the directions. I love when my phone decides to change my wording.
