I've been wanting to invest in a scanner that has the skywarn feature instead of just the basic NOAA weather station. From what I've heard this unit is the best I should invest in
I have owned a Whistler 1065 for 2 years , and it works well , have programmed for 2 counties and all police, sheriff, fire, and air medEvac frequencies...
Great education. My elderly neighbor got a WS1025 and asked me to "program" it. Now I can help him out. Thanks! God bless you

Will this analog pick up police fire and ambulance?
Great job on the video. It’s nice to a video like this with a piece of equipment that is clean.
Thank you Arnold!
Excellent information!
I just got one of these, thank you for your help with programming it
When in stand by weather alert mode can I go back to regular scanning
I just bought one, did I waist my money? Or is it worth it?
It depends on what you want to monitor. It is a good analog scanner for monitoring amateur radio, FRS/GMRS, railroad and aircraft frequencies.
I would like to have one of these
its the same as my radio shack weather alert 200 channel
yes
I have the same scanner, but mine is a Radio Shack
My is also a radio shack branded. Perhaps from the late 80s, works fine still this day.
