Change is hard. It’s just not the same without you Tom. It never will be. Thanks for everything that you did for us. Your steady voice during some very scary storms really comforted us. Enjoy your retirement and we hope to see you down the road.
Tom, I moved down with my job in 2003. I have relied on your forecast and wonderful personality and professionalism since. There was a program called EOS Eye of the Storm that was always 99.9% spot on. It was discontinued due to lack of funding. Your forecast was spot on as well. I am a rider like you. I could sit and talk with you for hours. Stay well and vertical my friend. You will be missed beyond words
Tom, thank you for all you did when you were at WPDE - signed someone who was 8 when Hugo went through, and you really did keep everyone in our house calm through one of the worst nights of our lives.
Tom you look really great for being 61 years young. No one would ever guess it Early retirement is everyone's dream. However, in your case you're still young. You got your health, a really cool motorcycle, a loving family and devoted fans who'll never forget you. Keep us updated on social media about your adventures in the years to come. Just have fun in retirement. Most importantly . . . don't forget your umbrella.
Just realized he had retired since I seldom watch regular TV unless a storm is approaching. If he started a RUclips channel I'd be watching right now as we have Milton approaching. First watched him all through the fun 2004 season.
Goodnight Tom. I will miss you , my favorite weather man, God Bless you & your Family. You are amazing, may Jehovah Hod in Jesus Christ Name Bless you all Forever. Luv u, T. Byrd❤
