MERCHANT OF VENICE || ACT 2 SCENE 7|| LINE BY LINE EXPLANATION WITH PICTURES|| ICSE CLASS 9 AND 10 || reference to context
William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice is a tragic-comedy where we find a dispute between a Christian and a Jew. A love story brews between Bassanio and Portia. Many interesting situations take place and to enjoy it, continue to follow my channel.
In this scene we find Prince of Morocco is choosing the casket. His foolishness and his nature of measuring the value of everything in terms of money, makes him choose the gold casket and find in it a skull and a scroll which certifies his stupidity. He goes back dismayed.
