I had the complete opposite experience, thinking "Why the hell is Lancer's theme playing, he's not even here"
I thought the exact same thing. My guess is that the acid tunnel area theme is buildup to the Rouxls fight, and the trash machine scheme was a Lancer (and Susie) idea. Otherwise the motif could be the spade family motif, and since Rouxls is strongly associated with both lancer and the king he gets the motif as well.
The fact that Rouxls Kaard's leitmotif isn't in Hip Shop and is only in two songs is hilarious to me
Rouxls kaard doesn't HAVE a leitmotif. He has a miniscule part of Lancer's theme looped and looped again to form one.

Because Hip Shop is not related to Rouxls Kaard, it's just a theme for shops, like Undertale's "Shop" track. It was used in Rouxls Kaard shop, Swotch shop (or whatever his name was) and will be played in next chapters in different shops.
@@DRAGONbros08 Nahh, Roulx just invaded Swatch's playlist. All the other shopkeepers (Seam, Sweet Cap'n Cakes and Spamton) have their original music.

In both fights Berdly has a lot of significance. Controlled by Queen in the first fight, fighting against Queen with a machine he produced in the second. Not to mention the general relationship between them

@@michaelsbasement the connection is in fact there , its just sped up in a way where its difficult to catch. instead of the four first notes of the motif descending upward, they go downward, and then after that its the same 6 notes in a different key. again, really fast so its hard to catch 28:35
@@mayamelodyegg1607 with this many hoops to jump trough to explain it i doubt that would be an intentional addition, if it was something like gaster's theme id believe it (if the explanation actually made sense) because it would make sense to hide it better, but then with normal motifs like berdly it wouldnt make sense to bother with it like this
@@michaelsbasement oh my god yeah after going through an editing program (aka some online key changer website) i realized i overcomplicated it. its actually SIMPLER to find the motif by literally just changing the portion this video points out to b minor
doing so gets you an exact match to the aforementioned berdly A motif in the video : ) i think humming it outloud also helps . learned some keys today

It's weird since, the purest form.of the motif being the base song is just decent but there's better I feel (like Noelle's or Lancer) but in the other songs It's used It's really damn incredible (smart race and AOTKQ, are phenomenal thanks to it)

Thrash Machine sounds like it could be from an early Pokemon game, like gen 3 or 4 (2:35)
The start of pandora palace is a leitmotif for queen too, as it also appears in knock you down
You forgot I'm Very Bad from the Susie leitmotifs.
the susie and lancer leitmotifs are quite similar, and lancer's is just faster :)

Very Bad features Lancer being Susie-like. Very literally
Oh yeah, the first 4 notes do actually form Susie's letimotif. Just a nice blend of hers and Lancer's theme.

it's interesting how toby first wanted to give Noelle one unique theme that would just play differently.
Noelle.ogg has a fun and upbeat attitude you'd expect from Noelle but then Lost Girl reveals a more sad aspect of that theme.
but I can see why toby scrapped it because it's actually more interesting to give her two completely different themes.
Noelle constantly shows that happy and nice facade that is portrayed in Girl Next Door. Just like the theme's name implies, it's superficial and barely scratches the surface of who Noelle truly is. it's just by the end where the two themes harmonize that we see a small glimpse behind the cracks.
And then Lost Girl shows a more authentic part of her, her loneliness, her fragility. I feel like there's so much more to discover about her!
man, that's why Noelle is my favorite character!
Toby fox said that all of his UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE songs can be used by everyone for free as long as it is being used in some original form and credit is given. Your video is being false copyright-claimed.

Lancers theme showing up I'm card castle chaos king and it's pronounced rules implies that if the themes are Canon to the actual game (wich atleast some of them seem to be) then the leitmotif isn't actually lancers it's actually the leitmotif for the royal family in general, the king and his son use it, the king's "Duke of puzzles" uses it, only queen doesn't use it and she's divorced

am i the only one who noticed a bit of mettaton neo's leitmotif in big shot?
Yeah during the chorus (drawn out part) the backing instruments are literally just the first half of the neo/true hero motif, not to mention near the end i'm 99% sure Power of Neo is DIRECTLY sampled

Why do I hear "Leitmotif Queen" in "A Cyber's World" and "Welcome To The City" even though no one is counting them, as if they don't really exist and I'm actually suffering from the Mandela Effect?
