I don't use it on my face but love some Vaseline, especially in the winter when I get hand eczema, I layer it on with moisturizer before sleeping, world of a difference. It was so painful to even wash my hands because of all the cuts all over my hands but this really helped lock in the moisture.
I definitely second that . I've got combination skin ( I think ??) So my chin , cheeks and areas around the eye get really dry . Saw my mother do it and was intrigued so decided to try it out. As for my hair, since its a tropical country here, I need to obviously wash my hair atleast every other day or when needed, opt for the most natural brand you can get and pick a clarifying shampoo❤ I always get compliments now, its not perfect my skin but the improvement is very visible. Using just water retains the moisture barrier of your skin. Trust me, your skin will heal on its own❤ like those acne, irritations, allerfies and all. JUST WATER. Using soap in the past is not helping my skin at all, even those moisturizing soaps like Dove still dry out my skin. When I transitioned to just water, it was the best decision ever❤

@@Chvnd1er They're tiny bumps on your skin that kind of look like pimples but are actually keratin cysts under the skin. Some people get those after slugging for some reason. Generally, milia are harmless and go away on their own after a few weeks. Look it up on Google Images and you'll see what I mean
@@Chvnd1er They're white yellowish small and hard bumps that usually appear around the eyes. You can't pop those or get rid of them at home and they don't go away easily by their own you have to go to a dermatologist to either surgically remove them safely or by using cryotherapy to freeze the milia on your skin and then remove them.
I used Vaseline and milia popped the next day literally, and I've never had them before
It's winter so apply vaseline on your lips and sleep and get that pink soft lips next day❤️
Your so pretty like your face looks amazing😊
I don't use it on my face but love some Vaseline, especially in the winter when I get hand eczema, I layer it on with moisturizer before sleeping, world of a difference. It was so painful to even wash my hands because of all the cuts all over my hands but this really helped lock in the moisture.
I am the biggest fan of the Vaseline using it for more than 12 years🫨😗Btw you look gorgeous❤️

OMGGG SAMEEE
I LOVE VASELINEEEE
Did it give you millia?
@@user-hidai-qqybh Nope!

Ur so pretty❤❤❤❤❤❤
I also use it as máscara My lashes grew do much i like vaselina because it can have SO many different uses
I definitely second that . I've got combination skin ( I think ??) So my chin , cheeks and areas around the eye get really dry . Saw my mother do it and was intrigued so decided to try it out. I usually mix it with a bit of Nivea ( the one for dry skin , dark blue ) to a 1:4 ish ratio and my skin has never been so soft . I don't usually break out , other that the monthly thingy , so can't tell if it aggravated acne tho .
Again, if you do intend on doing this , definitely patch test .
Good luck !
I also have combination skin (I think) and I love using Nivea at night, it makes my skin so glowy in the morning. I put it all over my face, is that bad or should I put it just on my dry skin areas?
@@roshnikakash I think that's fine tbh . Moisturizing is very important , you can do it a couple times a day to drier areas if you want . Don't forget your sunscreen !
"I am Vaseline's number one fan."
NAH GURL I AM
Does it work on the body too? And what can I pair it with for my face?
@@olugbemimoyinoluwa6579 You can use vaseline on your elbows and hands (also on rough spots). On the face, use a cleanser and leave a thin layer of vaseline on the face overnight
I do that too it's so smooth and shiny
Ur skin glowing ☺️
Use it for your lashes it works like mascara
just dont wash your face too often. I am acne prone and I had awful acne years ago, I dont use any skincare product, just wash with water with a compressed sponge. In my body, no soaps just use korean body mitt, its better on exfoliating than those body scrubs they sell, they are useless. As for my hair, since its a tropical country here, I need to obviously wash my hair atleast every other day or when needed, opt for the most natural brand you can get and pick a clarifying shampoo❤
I always get compliments now, its not perfect my skin but the improvement is very visible.
OMGGG!!! Same I was waiting to see someone you also loves vaseline
I’ve done this for years mainly cus I have allergies so bad but it keeps moisture in so well. I’m 35 now and still get told I look in my early 20s all the time.
I should definitely give this a try 😊
make sure to patch test🤍

@@bhatmehvish7941it does
I really wanna try it but I have oily skin and I'm scared that it will clog my pores 😭😭
Yeah it probably will, it's the best occlusive on the market. Useful for dry skin, not a good idea for oily skin...
I have dehydrated oily acne prone skin, it does work for me. However I do it only once a week or as your skin needs it. Plus you need to make sure that your skin prep is good. Make sure your skin is very clean prior to prevent clog pores via oil cleanser and double cleanse. Then I moisturize and add a very thin layer ( you don't need much) of aquaphor/vaseline/whatever occlusive to lock it in.
@@leejeanne487 i do almost the same as you!!
i’m oily for most of the year but during the winter is when my eczema flares up and my skin becomes dry. I usually do “slugging” during this time with Aquaphor when my prescription cream runs out. I try to keep a thin layer because then my pores might clog, I hate feeling it on my face and I don’t want my pillow stick to my face lol.
other than that, I recommend a lightweight moisturizer! My dermatologist recommend “Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Gel” It’s stopped my skin from being as oily.
@@That.french.harpist My skin is both dry and oily at the same time. Cracked and flaky as hell underneath an ocean of grease. Trying to figure out what products are best for my skin is a pain in the ass 😭
You’ll be fine.
i have eczema and i had a point where i would wake up and my face used to be really red and irritated but as soon as i started using vaseline (on top of my moisturiser) it’s helped soo much. my skin feels so smooth. is and better than ever❤
I use it toooooo also for lashes brow lips legs hand literally for everything Vaseline is for everything it's it's magic
Guys vaseline is not cruelty free at all. I'm not saying don't use it just saying that there are many other cruelty free brands
thank you for saying that.
If that's the case then don't even use skin care. Everything which have assured cruelty free are products which is mostly not suitable for a lot of people
What did cure your acne?
Cocoa butter is good too the stick ones ! Super easy and less messy
Girl same i looove vasline even the lip mask is so good and trust me i have it and my lips went from damage to barbie lips
Do you put this on top of your normal skincare routine & wash off in the morning?
She use it as a moisturizer so probably she use it last thing at night (it’s just a guess)
personally it completed destroyed my skin. it gave me what looked like hundreds of little bumps on my forehead and painful pimples on my cheeks. one year later and im still tryna get rid of those acne scars..
Petroleum jelly is healthy and it makes ur skin glow ❤
I love Vaseline! I use it on my lips every day both as a lip scrub and a lip balm. All you need to make the lip scrub is sugar and Vaseline then you wipe off the sugar when you are done and your lips are just perfect!✨
No one is liking my comment so i liked my own comment 🤣
I like using cerave healing ointment in the tube!
that ones super good too!!

Can you share what products actually cleared your skin?
Probably tret.
I would be careful with that. I also used it as a moisturizer but after a year of constant use my skin became oily and now I am stuck with perfect but oily skin. But hey at least wrinkles won’t appear so easily😂
Yeah people with oily skin have less wrinkles compared to to those with dry skin
I do it too! After washing and toning I moisturise, after that I put on vaseline ♡
I love Vaseline Healing Jell. I used that too every night It can prevent also pimples. That's magical.
❗️It can be awesome but DO NOT apply Vaseline on your skin if you have oily skin or clogged pores,it does lock in moisture but also locks in the dirt and oil that clogs your pores. For this same reason it might make your acne worse
Yuppp! Its not worth the risk

This is so true vasline works like magic.

I fade up and applied vasline just to help my face from dryness, from then I got addicted to it. It works like magic.❤

I’ve considered using that but I’m scared it’ll clog my

Technically, vaseline is non-comedogenic. If you have oily skin, probably you won't like the greasiness of it, but if you'll decide to use it just remember to double cleanse. You'll DEFINITELY want to avoid vaseline if you're prone to milia, though.
@@fagiolification11do I double cleanse before or after using the Vaseline
@@U_love_livxoxo Double cleanse in the morning if you used vaseline the night before + double cleanse in the evening to remove all the make up and sebum off your face. I usually use vaseline or oils as the last step of my evening skincare routine to lock moisture in while I sleep. If you don't use oils or vaseline in the evening, you can skip the double cleanse the next morning and do it only in the evening. ☺️
