What a spectacular and beautifully refreshing spritz cocktail! I love the Aperol Spritz!!! It's gorgeous and so delicious!! It's bliss on a hot day sitting by a pool or better yet, the ocean, but this can be made all year round!! Lovely video!! Thank you!! 🙂
I fill the wine glass (previously frozen) only half way with ice, then add the 3-2-1 ingredients (free pouring the Prosecco with the glass at 45°), stir it 3 times in a very gentle way. top it with ice, add the orange wedge.
Funny, I was thought the correct way very early on. I’m relatively sure the first cocktail I ever made was an Aperol Spirtz (or a white wine spirtzer), I can’t recall. My cocktail sensei was an old Italian guy who would pour your drink in the sink if you did it wrong and took it out your tips. You learned quick not to screw it up. 🤣
62nd Cocktails that explains it, the italians definitely know how to make one :)
I was shown by a guy from Aperol and he said large wine glass fill with ice, 3 parts Prosecco (75ml), 2 parts Aperol (50ml),1 part soda (25ml) stir, top up with ice and a slice of orange
That sounds pretty delicious too x
3-2-1 is properly.
Darn it I'm second. Thank for the proper instruction.
Booze On The Rocks no problem:)
Even if this is generally concidered a summer drink, for me it is so good I can enjoy it any time of the year. 😁
Cheers.
The Tribal Bar Guy me too :)
here in Veneto where he was born we drink it every day, it is perfect both before lunch and before dinner
@@lntersteIIa5555 Thanks for the additional information. It is a great drink and there is no wonder people would like to enjoy it often. At least I do.
Thanks again for the info. Cheers!
The official italian recipe is with Campari indtead of soda
THank you, it looks perfect! I'll be making one tonite. However, I'd like to know where I can get that EXACT goblet you have? I DON'T have a good glass to put mine in..and I'd like to surprise my wife! Help!!??
This drink has been wildly popular In the German speaking countries for
15+years. Naturally we prefer it the way we are used to It - In most countries they add too much aperol so the drink becomes too bitter and too „sticky“ from that more intense alcoholic beverage.
Also in Austria Spritz wine is typically made with white wine (dry) and I feel it is better with this wine because of its acidic component.
I am no bartender but I’d reckon quantity wise the original is more
Like 2 parts dry white wine 1 part aperol and sparkling water each .😊 your advice on the ice is great it should look like the drink on the right !
Wrong. Ice goes in first
Thanks for your feedback
In Iowa in the midwest, I don't think I have ever seen that drink in a bar. Sounds super refreshing.
Alchemix - Craft Cocktails really?
It’s massive in Australia, definitely worth trying.
@@LetsTalkDrinks ya the Midwest a even Iowa is a little odd but we are catching up.
👍🏻😍
Mamma mia, no :) Aperol never in first! The traditional way is easy as "Ice + 3-2-1 + Orange". Fill glass with ice, 3 parts prosecco, 2 parts aperol, 1 part soda, lightly stir, add 1 orange slice. I normally take blood orange, looks better.
That's what I thought.... Lovely drink.
