My Sirui ultra light also has (had!) a fantastic build quality. But it unexpectedly broke recently. The central column gave off and split in half without any pressure/force applied whatsoever. I was extending the legs and mere seconds away from mounting the €3000 worth camera and lens combo on it... The moral being, the perceived value does not have to be the real one too! Also: the weakest chain will lead to failure, in spite of the phenomenal legs and ballhead craftsmanship. -This is a very welcome and nice review and I cannot not notice how much your presentation improved recently. Probably the travel and the Far-East socializing did you good Matti ;) Keep up good work, I'll try now to catch up with your latest uploads.
What is didn’t added the standard of HEIPI customer service. Ordered a Tripod on the 9th September 2024 it’s now 20th of September 2024 and I have yet to receive this item. To ad to this I’ve emailed HEIPI seven times not once have I received a response. No information given on the tracking on any wed site and the Tripod was needed for today for a photo shoot. It has been wasted time energy and money. What good is a product with customer service this poor. But there’s one point HEIPI has still managed to send a number of emails advertising there new equipment.
Hi Matti, thanks for having variety on you Channel, it was nice to see this Heipi W28 Tripod. The dedicated phone Clamp is a great idea especially the Panoramic feature. As most Smartphones have a Panoramic Mode. Doing panoramic shots hand held doesn't always produce good results but with this Panoramic setting you will have less blurry photos than hand held. Nice one Matti, thankyou. 😊
It’s nice to see an updated review of this tripod, I actually have one and it’s a lite, rugged and well thought out piece of gear. I mount a Sony A7Rv on it for long exposure such as waterfalls. It packs well and the small ‘transformer’ tripod is also convenient, as you can just keep the camera attached to the whole unit while getting the shots you need, no remounting the camera, no need for a second mini tripod. Thanks
It is rare that I use tripod, I do some times use it for fx night photography. Now when I have the Sony A7RV with improved IBIS I use tripod even less. The Arca Swiss system are not my "cup of tea", there are better systems, which are more secure and easier to use. For tripod photography I use the excellent Novoflex system. Have a nice weekend Matti ☺
@@mattisulanto For the last two years I have only used my tripod for night photography. (I do also have a LARGE tripod, which I use for Bird watching with a telescope).
Unfortunately Arca Swiss is just a quick release system, but there is no standard for the size? There might be compatibility issue if using multiple products from different manufacturers.
Your Sirui is much bigger than my mini tripod that fits in my pocket😀 If you put your tripod on ice without the spikes and the thing trips over with your camera, that can also look and feel like a lot of pain😀

Thanks! Sorry to hear about your tripod and good to hear that your camera did not fall off the tripod.

That bundle of pipes costs more than my camera lol
You can sometimes even get free camera and also a free tripod if you are lucky😀

Thanks. I appreciate your support and the effort you take to comment my videos.
It's a pleasure, your very welcome. You put a lot of effort into your videos it's the least us viewers can do. Thanks Matti for your kind words. 😊
Thanks Matti 😊

Thanks for sharing. That's the case indeed. Tripod is not necessary any more like it used to be.

Hello could you review the new Sigma 500 mm f5.6 for L-mount?
This thing is way bigger than my Sirui, which works great!
Those spikes look like a pain.
Pass
