- In this Episode of "In the Zone" (Episode 14), we once again join twin brothers Jeff and Mark Skousen, on another incredible day of archery elk hunting in Idaho.
Jeff is the shooter, and Mark is doing the calling, and the brothers have located a group of 5 bulls on a ridge across from them. With very limited cover, they have to use the limited vegetation and terrain features to cut the distance, hoping to get close enough to set up and call...
Utilizing new, high-quality 3D motion-graphics to help illustrate elk hunting setups, 11-time World Elk Calling Champion, Corey Jacobsen, breaks down actual elk calling scenarios, and details what tactics and strategies were used - or what should have been used - to maximize elk calling success.
If you've ever wanted a play-by-play breakdown of actual elk calling setups to help you become a more successful elk caller, "In the Zone" by Elk101.com is the series you've been looking for!

These series are simply awesome! Thanks guys!!!
I’m glad I’m not the only who pushes my range finder button 200 times😂. On a serious note, thank you for bringing solid content that is unlike anything anyone else has done.
I really like these videos. It’s a great how to tool. 👍👍
The Skousens are great elk hunters and great guys! I love watching their hunts
Thanks Corey, this is great information that can't be found anywhere else 👍
Love these break down videos a lot of good info!
Skousen brothers are so fun to watch. Not sure if you are developing another team video series but I predict Skousen for the win!!
Corey, I'd love to get a review on the Exo packs. The way you describe them sounds amazing but as soon as I go to look at them, they have 100 different additions, systems, etc. It is overwhelming enough that I just end up doing nothing.
I just bought the K4 3600. They’re very simple packs. Once you get one home and play with it a little bit. They’re very easy to understand and adjust. I haven’t used it in the field yet but I like it already.
