If you let ur concealer/ dry/ set for 20 -30 seconds before blending you’ll get better coverage. You won’t need as much setting powder. You may not need any setting powder. I never need to use any setting powder just a little setting spray. Setting powders accentuate my fine lines
You are totally correct! This isn't a hack 😂 To me a hack is a shortcut that makes a process quicker/easier. This is just a technique that adds moisture to the undereye for smoothing. Great video👍🏾
Using fingers in a soft “patting” motion works a lot better to blend in as the warmth from fingers helps to “melt” it into the skin & patting it in helps to not move product back & forth, etc..
Aquaphor worked nicely under my eyes, but i still would get a little settling in my fine lines at around the 6 hour mark . BUT one day i decided to use my oak essentials conditioning lip balm under my eyes and OMG!! My under eyes looked amazing and so smooth all day. Absolutely no settling or creasing .. completely mind blowing 🤯
I live in Aquaphor day and nite. It will continually give u moisture and just blot it a lil before you apply your makeup. At nite I swipe some under eyes then use castor oil on top and all over face and neck. This does work. Don't be set on your routine. Try it! Aquaphor isn't like Vaseline. It's def better
The key is applying very little amount and building it up because often times we think we need to apply a ton of product to cover up the darkness but in reality it separates and the coverage disintegrates having the discoloration peeking through. Also I found that using beachy, orange correctors as concealer just works
From what I understand, the Aquaphor is too smooth the lines not the dark circles. And it does smooth the lines. I’ve been doing it for the past week. I love it.
Just wait until you are in your 60's! I am 68, and just two years ago I suddenly got a pair of dark circles under my eyes that replaced the lines underneath. It is really difficult to completely disguise these circles, no matter how much product is used. The rest of my face is in pretty good shape, as I have taken good care of my skin.
I'm 68 as well and my dark circles have become noticeable. I'm a make-up artist so I do have the experience but you are correct there are just things that simply don't really work however it is a trial and error for me at this point. My issues are the caking no matter how much or how little and no matter if I use powder or not. At this point I'm finding for the first time in my life I have to redo certain aspects of my makeup midday.
glad to know of this get the one without sunscreen since the lip balm is going near eyes. I watched 3 videos on this, I always use eye cream and this is also cheaper, other makeup artist also used it as a basic moisturizer on lines near nose and mouth, great price, travels great, great concealer idea, game changer!
How do I get my undereye to match my foundation all over my face? I do not like how brightening the under looks and the rest of the face looks dark. I have not been able to figure this out, any advice?
I use to do this b4 it was a thing like 8 years ago. I did it to moisture cause my mature under eyes were so dry. Didn't do anything for my dark circles
Like the video. Have heard this quite a few times. Was wondering if its just the brand that will work this way and/or if vaseline can do the same thing. What do you think?
Thank you so much, Sarah! I have been wondering what you would think of this hack. What lip product were you wearing with this full glam look? It looked incredible on you :)
Also the problem im having is im deep skin toned so i have to use orange color corrector but it ALWAYS shows through my concealer and foundation even if i just use 1 tiny dot how do i stop my undereyes from looking orange
But they both look good but there's a definite difference on the aqua side.. it looks way way better... The say that you did I can still see your dark circle on the other side is just way smoother and no creases and no lines.. there is a definite difference in my opinion... You are pretty girl either way
Aquaphor side brightens up your eye better. Reg eye looks a little droppy without the extra moisturizer that the aquaphor gives on the other eye. - Aquaphor eye looks moisturized and more refreshed looking along with makes the eye seem more open rather than dropping throughout the day. It's a better and younger look
@ GiGi, I tried Vaseline, just dot a tiny amount under the eyes, 5-10 mins after moisturising, put concealer on and wait a few mins, blend with a brush, works a treat ❤
I saw this all over tik tok. I bought the aquaphor stick. I’m going to try it out and make a video as well. My understanding is that eyes are so textured, it’s insane. Dryness, fine lines.. the perks of getting older 😂 sigh
It is okay and use occasionally but shouldn’t be used everyday. It is made for lips, not the delicate skin under your eye. It can cause tiny bumps caused from blocked pores.
While, I love this idea in general. I’m a little nervous now because I use Aquaphor as a lip balm and now I’m wondering if I’m even gonna be able to find it in the store because of these viral videos. 😂🥴🤭

Agree, this was a game changer for me ❤
Best tutorial in a long time and I have to agree the right side looks flawless. Beautiful

Wow the aquaphor side at least on camera looks a million times better! Incredible!
Works! I apply it everyday under my concealer.

This honestly looks like a great hack !!! I’ll def try it 💗 Thankyou
I was waiting for this tutorial, because you are the concealer queen 😁 and I trust your opinion 😁
Aquaphor worked nicely under my eyes, but i still would get a little settling in my fine lines at around the 6 hour mark . BUT one day i decided to use my oak essentials conditioning lip balm under my eyes and OMG!!

Where could i get your oak essential lip balm pls?

I have such dark circles, I wish you could do mine, they never come out as nice as yours! Love the lip color you were wearing, what was it?
😂I feel the same way. I'm like can I come over so you can do your tricks on MY dark circles. I can never get them covered
The key is applying very little amount and building it up because often times we think we need to apply a ton of product to cover up the darkness but in reality it separates and the coverage disintegrates having the discoloration peeking through. Same. It’s making me so depressed 😢
Try dark yellow corrector
Same... it's genetics, no eye cream would help me. The only concealer that works for me is the Shape tape, even if it wears off by the end of the day
Did you used an eye serum or cream before the aquaphor?
From what I understand, the Aquaphor is too smooth the lines not the dark circles. And it does smooth the lines. I’ve been doing it for the past week. I love it.
I use their ointment under eye and works great.
When you set the concealer with powder, did you use a dry or a dampened sponge? Excellent demonstration, Aquaphor looks way better! 👍🏻😊
What is your under eye routine? Do you put retinoid or retinol? Please share 🙏
Do you use primer too?
What shadow is on your eyes? Love your videos!

I just watched that video and it’s working
Thanks. Helpful video!
Really works for me I use aquaphor then cover with peach tinted concealer works like a charm.❤

You did an amazing job!!

Definitely a smoother difference!

OMG hack works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would add it to my routine indeed
Thank you so much, Sarah! I have been wondering what you would think of this hack. What lip product were you wearing with this full glam look? It looked incredible on you :)
New subbed here.😊 Question: what are the products you used and where could i get them, pls? Thank you...😊
One of my under eyes is so dark and keeps spreading it looks like i have a black eye 😢
Also the problem im having is im deep skin toned so i have to use orange color corrector but it ALWAYS shows through my concealer and foundation even if i just use 1 tiny dot how do i stop my undereyes from looking orange
Try putting a bit of pink
Was a game changer for me!
I love aquaphor.its good on skin.used on.my daughter when she was younger.❤
I tried it & it didn't work for me. I think Iust be doing something wrong.
I think she used more concealer on the aquaphor side than the non aquaphor side !!!!
Plz can u swatch the makeupforever hd concealer!
Does it have to be Aquaphor specifically or any other lip balm?
@ Juicy, I used Vaseline, works great, very surprised
Sarah, did you try the Maybelline powder that Scott used to set the undereyes?
He uses Aquaphor Healing Balm❤
But they both look good but there's a definite difference on the aqua side.. it looks way way better... Hi. What was the brand color corrector that you used?
I guess she used Huda beauty
I guess she used Huda Beauty Peach concealer
@@mahwishnoreen4392 Thank you.
What you see is the eye bag with aquaphor you don't really see it and you do notice the difference, it looks very good.
It has worked for me 😊 so far no milia yet 🤞because I do tend to get milia with certain creams.
me too that’s why i’m scared to use anything with oil based
I have been using like a balm stick made for under the eyes and does the same thing and probably not as occlusive as the Aquaphor.
What is the brand?
@@TheNiquenique I got it from Temu. It's pink and an in a tube I think it said under eye moisterizer. It was cheap.

It doesn’t look similar. The Aquaphor side looks much better! Thanks so much!🥰
Looks slightly better with the aquaphor but not so great that you would need to add it imo

Peter Thomas Roth great for eyes face exct
@ GiGi, I tried Vaseline, just dot a tiny amount under the eyes, 5-10 mins after moisturising, put concealer on and wait a few mins, blend with a brush, works a treat ❤
I also watch Angie Hot and Flashy and it did not work for her at all, it was very creasy.
The same for me. I’ll stick with nars concealer and makeup forever powder. Game changer. 💖🔥
Everything is different with aging skin 😏
I saw this all over tik tok. I bought the aquaphor stick. I’m going to try it out and make a video as well. My understanding is that eyes are so textured, it’s insane. Dryness, fine lines.. the perks of getting older 😂 sigh
I wonder how many time you need to say GLAM
If you want a stye, go for it. Putting petroleum under your eyes may initially prevent dryness, but it will build up and end up on your eye lid.
Beautiful 💙
What is the corrector you are using please?
Huda Beauty
Thank you..

Funny … I already had aquaphor lip balm at home.
Aquaphor is a hormone disruptor. FYI
The Aquafor side looks much better. The other side needs more work or more makeup.
If the aquafor is for lips, it should not be used for eyes. Wait till you get covered by millia under the eyes for doing that.
Aquaphit under my eye BURNS! It also didn’t prolong my under eye concealer. Unfortunately.
Use the one without sunscreen or it will burn
@@deedeesigvertsen9157 I did. I think there is something else in it that is burning my eyes.
No difference. Just an extra non necessary step…. Unless you have super dry under eye area
No it does not work!
Aquaphor does not help dark circles at all!
Moisterizer , Vaseline … nothing new and if you don’t wear foundation , powder over the concealer you look like a raccoon
YOU MUST BE PAYED FROM HUDA MAKEUP
Old folks did this when they were teens
