On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. That airbase is incredibly stacked. F-15s, C-130s, AH-64s, and 104-MIM Patriot SAM sites.

+Kwaj Basically, Mig-31 would just send one Kinzhal, which would totally only slightly damage the whole Patriot battery after it fired 32 PAC-3 missiles in 2 minutes with two of the PACs returning and destroying that F-15 and C-130
You know what DCS is still very missing? A trigger condition in the Mission Editor called "Player detected by unit [...]" Triggers reinforcements or alerts the defenders when the player is detected by AI. This would make low level insertions SO MUCH cooler. And now with the Strike Eagle, the potential is even greater!

Exactly- and I am very much aware that they are two separate channels, very different personalities, different pace tempo format: but I can’t help but connect them and apply an albeit artificial relationship between the two. I’ve been noticing that many sim pilots ignore runway and taxiway markings. Nice job keeping centerline when taxing and on takeoff! The little things add so much to the videos!

The bombing run was crazy accurate, felt bad for that SAM eating a 2000 lb bomb like that. Was hoping for a gun kill on the wounded mig, just to exercise all the different weapon systems.
My Addiction to GS videos has been happily fed over these last few weeks! Thanks as always on all the hard work and dedication on all the videos over the last months man! Thank you Sidewinder. Your video helps ease the pain of waiting having pre-ordered the Strike Eagle. For me everything about the SE just fall into place. The cockpit sound, the thundering flyby sound, the agility and the radar capability all just exciting. I read that Razbam is still working on final sound set. Not sure if that is in already but I am very impressed by the systems sound elements in this preview version in show here. Check out the cool winding sound as landing gear doors opened followed by a whooshing sound as the gears extend out. Fantastic.

The F15E looks fantastic! I love that dark green coloured finish, very detailed and subtle. Those planes always looked menacingly capable.

I spent a lot of time 25 years ago playing Jane's F-15. It was big on modeling the ground mapping radar. You could chuck a string of dumb bombs at a target that you picked out from a blur of green screen and expect to get hits.
Man it’s insane how good the strike Eagle looks also love seeing the 333rd painted up boss bird that you taxied by. Love seeing how much detail went into this bird & definitely looks like a lot of fun.

Love the battle field music and the MO tail flash. I live 30 miles from the base. Now that is a weak loadout you had having served in combat with the 15E. Those things would be loaded out full kit when going on a mission.
The fights on Lockon against the Mig 31s come to mind, they began to climb and when they were at altitude you no longer took them both because of the speed that was always greater than yours and because of the altitude that you were unable to reach. Hard fighting and most of the time they didn't launch any missiles, they just walked away.

The Strike Eagle was one of the biggest tank killers of the Gulf War along with the F-111 and the A-10. I believe the F-111 got more though.
I hope the Strike Eagle gets some merch of its own in the future.

Don't know which USAF F-15 (B,C,D,E)? we had supporting us in Afghanistan but they messed up whatever we wanted messed up with bombs and then they weren't afraid to come in and strafe with the 20mm cannon just to finish the job! DCS is good, watching the real thing do the job for you is priceless!
GS pls do a video with yourself and longshot in the back seat dropping warheads on foreheads! So we can see some of that multi-crew action!
Sinai map is looking awesome. I wish that the Persian Gulf could get an overhaul. Still getting fragged a lot whilst flying the sim myself, don't know if it's super-ai, or if I'm not spending enough time in the sim. How many hours a week do you devote to flying GS?

Ya know I just really got familiar with the Viper. Aaaannnndddd it's now obsolete 😅. The Eagle holds like while your manuevring, the Viper drops lock if the other pilot sneezes and jiggles the stick too hard.
