Hello! I would like to be able to read the subtitles of this video because I bought an f-28 a long time ago and I was very intrigued to realize that it only had two buttons, and that when I turned it on it was already after two years of buying it at an auction in 1 $, which will work very well, its battery is 2016 for those who do not know the battery model. I also have a 3728 AW-82 watch, which has been with me for 3 and a half years now, and a Casio 2157 W-57 watch that won't turn on. In short, I am passionate about Casio watches, they are synonymous with quality and price. And since I have several models, I always try to have one more.
Hello and thanks for this comment! Yes, the F 28 is an amazing simple watch! As for the subtitles, I think that if you go into “Settings“ you can select subtitles translated into many languages. If you refer to what I write on the screen, don’t worry… They are just silly words 😂. The aw-82 and w-57 are some really cool watches! I don’t have them and I’m curious - does the aW 82 have a real Compass in the inner bezel, or just the letters with the Cardinal Points? Thanks again for your comment and thank you for watching!
The AW82 does not have a compass as such, what it does have is a "fishing time" mode and a moon phase mode section which tells you when it is a full moon, crescent moon, last quarter moon, and new moon; In addition to this, it also has a way to enter the current year, which is quite advantageous when the years are leap years. It also has the longitude and latitude of the country in which you are domiciled and this helps with the lunar phase. As if that were not enough, it also has three alarms, a countdown timer and a time zone. @@WUDN-WatchUDontNeed
@@WUDN-WatchUDontNeed

I have a small Casio collection and recently added the F28 my dad was wearing at work for 20+ years. I gave it a good polish, new battery and somehow managed to find a brand new Casio strap in a small watch boutique in the Netherlands (genuine F28 strap!). For me it's the perfect daily driver, it tells you the time and that's it. What's interesting is the fact that the letters on the LCD look super crisp compared to the F-91W and stay sharp even at a shallow angle. I just started a Discord server for vintage Casio collectors and enthusiasts. Just comment and I'll send you an invite!
Thanks for sharing this story! You were lucky finding that strap! Thanks for pointing out the crispness of the digits, if compared to the F-91: I hadn't noticed it. Thanks for the heads up on your discord server. I generally try to stay away from social media (RUclips excluded, of course) and I don't exactly know what Discord is. When I was looking for solutions to solve problems with my vintage Casios (late '70s, mid 80's and 90's) another viewer suggested joining a Facebook group, but I'm not on FB either. I'll have a look at Discord, though, to see if it doesn't scare me too much.😂😂😂 Thanks for your comment! Love the Netherlands: been there a few times and I sure plan to go there again. Happy new year!

I have one of these in pretty decent condition, and using a W-201 strap on it at the moment. I did manage to locate the proper strap for it, but I'm not sure if it is genuine Casio. The design is the same as an original, and the price is good, so it'll do. The seller has some left.
Thanks for pointing out the misprint! No matter how many times I rewatch the videos, there's always a mistake left... And thanks for the suggestion about the strap. Steel mesh strap.... sounds killer! I'll keep it in mind and try it on this or on a similar shaped Casio. Thanks for your comment!
