- Filmed at a rather large strip mall during a system test. The panel is in a locked room on the main level and the rest of the video is filmed in the tunnel system in the basement.
We had one these in my elementary school. They sound pretty nice and they were on fast code 3
Part of my school uses these. They're soooo loud in person!
Not just any Code 3, the Gentex Code 3!
At the school district at my city the alarms that they normally use are the gentex commander 3's
Derrick Castillo Most of the schools in my area have newer simplex systems with TrueAlert notifiers. I’ve seen a few with Wheelock though
In Dover Delaware the elementary and middle schools use gentex commander 3’s for the most part. But the new Dover high school uses white Edwards speaker strobes with a cool whoop sound and a female voice evac.
Awesome! My school has these alarms.
Eight eight eight
My elementary school did
My high school has these alarms, Plus speaker/strobes in the gym, cafeteria and auditorium which do a temporal whoop tone and voice message. Panel’s an NFS2-640.
That's weird it stopped instead of continuing along with the others.
I see the NYC code compliant exit signs and emergency lights.
Love them. Only wished it came in green.
is it me, or is the tone going a bit faster?
Gentex sync module.
yeah i noticed too
Why is the code 3 so fast?
@Ryan Kent well i have a commander 3 and it's coding isn't that fast. It goes like the usuall code 3. I am talking about the fact that it has different tones, and one of them is mechanical code 3. And it goes the same way as the original
The gentex sync module makes the code 3 much faster than the normal code 3 without them being in sync
@Ryan Kent no, its the sync.
my school have gentex commander 3 and 4 and they are fast
I think it’s a commander 2
you can tell by how fast it is

It’s fast due to fast strobe syncing.
