I remember the parking garage right across from the dorm I lived in as freshman, the fire alarm would occasionally go off there at midnight or 3 AM but I never knew why. It was annoying because some people couldn’t park their cars until it was silenced and the all clear was given and I also bet no one could drive out of there out of fear that starting the car might spark a flame because of the spark it causes to the gasoline inside the engine. There was also a regional utility plant right next to this parking garage, so maybe something in there tripped the alarm
Call me weird, but it sounds more like the facility is under attack, just saying it kinda gives the vibe since speaker strobes often say there is a fire emergency and ask people to leave the building while it is being verified.

This is the perfect sound of a siren song to fall asleep to when you have a migraine! The fire alarm was going off due to scheduled system testing at almost every single one of my recent surgeries, so getting put under while the fire alarm going off is an extra trippy total acid trip! 😆🚒
What? Not all of them are broken, there are non-weatherproof devices so if you go to 1:46 you'll see a simplex 4903 with a yellow strobe because of the weather, and another that has a speaker but isn't sounding. But the devices shall be replaced with a weatherproof or have a cover on it
I love these speakers, but if I was in a dead sleep and got teleported to this garage, I’d fall into cardiac arrest. 😅
You're lucky because I literally have those speakers in my bedroom.
The reverb is insane bro
Wow! The echoes those things make! Nice video bud!

Those are my favorite alarm speakers
In my opinion, I think the alarms should be replaced with weatherproof units so it won't end up dead.
I doubt they will
Yeah maybe like wheelock e70wps or something
They have been replacing them with truealert es speaker strobes, the old ones still remain for the most part
@@joeycaridi3030 they say wheelock 1080 vandel resistance speaker strobe cqn be used for indoor or outdoor
why don't these companies stop hiring idiots to install fire alarms
Wheelock horn strobe with sideways fire lettering doing a simplex evac message??
ah yes, the tampa airport short term garage level 5. none of this stuff is here anymore
This specifically is in the Long Term garage, but yes you are correct, all ripped out.

@@centurionempire4180 yeah
Simplex systems often say their recorded message three times in the beginning and then loop the alarm/siren sound indefinitely after that.
0:24 ah Yes the good old horn sound
What horn
One beep
0:18 - Wheelock ET-1010-WM-24??? More like ET-1010-WTF-24
Lol
Bruh 😂
0:16 wow! that must be a very rare alarm!
I think that’s a wheelock ET vandal resistant speaker
Most likely modded. Seen a CH-BF1 with a LSM Strobe. Looked at the label and it wasn’t original
lemme guess, it’s a wheelock et-1010 hooked to a simplex panel, that’s why it sounded like the truealert speaker whoop tone
Where is this at.
That looks like a train.
Tampa international airport
this looks like tampa international airport i remember seeing that parking garage long ago btw they had a system upgrade new simplex devices
it is. this is all razed though as they removed the monorail.

Those Fire Alarms are Cool if you ask me.
Lots of broken strobes and speakers but yes I have several of them.
@@P25AES Oh Joy. Now they're going to replace the old fire alarms with the new ones.
@@erikthepirate8068 Who knows if they will or not.
