We lived for 10 years near Zuerich....Everything wonderful! The town, the surrounding...Mountains, Lake, the city.Paradise! But the people....they couldn't enjoy life. We came back 2008 to Idstein and felt at home. Warmheartet people, lovely city!

Sehr nostalgisch! Ich habe dort gewohnt. Vor dem Rathaus gab es eine Zeit lang die "goldenen Kartoffeln" auf denen wir immer herumgeklettert sind. Der Hexenturm war auch cool. Wir dachten immer, das man dort Hexen eingesperrt hatte (Es war nur ein Wachtturm, lol). Danke für diese tollen Aufnahmen! 🤗

Die goldenen Kartoffeln gibt es auch heute noch, werden allerdings wie jedes Jahr in der Winterzeit eingelagert.
Genaugenommen war der Hexen Turm ein burgfried oder Bergfried und kein Wachturm. Super tolle Stadt! Meine Heimat😊
