Personally I was on board with both, but neither got the overall recognition they deserved. Look how long it took for Rush to get into R&R HOF- and Triumph STILL isn’t there. At least not the US Cleveland one.

They preformed at the Colosseum and the minute they started playing my son started jamming in my stomach!! Can't remeber who opened for them, but I was surprised there was not a bigger following. Lisa D.; COMPLETELY AGREED!!!!! I'm gonna add 1 name in2 the fray (so 2 speak); JLT (Joe Lynn Turner) from Rainbow. The manner in how all 4 (Moore, Reno, Coverdale, & Turner) CARRY A TUNE is PHENOMENAL!!!!!! In other words, they can change their vocal pitch w/o losing stride. Granted; what I'm alluding 2 may sound technical but only a trained musical fan can detect such nuances. Consider urself amongst them (that's actually a damn fuckin' good thing).

THE 2ND GREATEST CANADIAN BAND OF ALL TIME!! What a shame they didn't see the longevity that RUSH did. "LIVE IN HALIFAX" I used to have this dvd. It's so good I try to not watch it too often. It's just too good to burn yourself out on. This is one of the greatest performances of ANY 80's band. If you ever wanna "prove" what you're saying about TRIUMPH is TRUE, make them watch this concert. It is a COMMAND PERFORMANCE(for the fans) and the boys let it all hang out! Peace bro's ~ Enjoy LIVE IN HALIFAX and SHARE IT. Every band should have a true virtuoso guitarist. This band does. And nobody could hit Rik's upper vocal frequencies either. I'm just sayin!! LOVE this band.

    Lyrics:
We've passed the point of no return
    How can we make amends
All alone I watch the candle burn
    Burning at both ends
    Nothin's ever gonna change
Can tears wash away this pain
    Tears in the rain
    Here it comes again
I'll never know the reason why
I cry these tears in the rain (rain)
The time has come to make a stand
    We've waited much too long
Nobody's gonna lead us by the hand
How could we be so wrong
We lost the chance to the play this game
Can tears wash away this pain
    Tears in the rain
    Here it comes again
I'll never know the reason why
I cry these tears in the rain
So many times, I've wondered why
    We still play this game
    Tears in the rain
    Here it comes again
I'll never know the reason why
I cry these tears in the rain
    Tears in the rain
    Here it comes again
Oh, I'll never know the reason why
I cry these tears in the rain
    Rain, tears in the rain
    (Tears in the rain)
    I've been cryin' now
    Cryin' now
    Cryin' tears in the rain
    (Tears in the rain)
    I've been cryin' baby
    I wonder why I cry
Ohhh, I'll never know the reason why
    (Tears in the rain)
I wonder why I cry these tears
    (Tears in the rain)
    Cryin...

We all sat at a big table backstage where they served us soda and beer (which I drank even though I wasn’t old enough 😆) while we waited for the band to come out and meet us. It never happened. The band bailed and left us all hangin’. The radio station apologized but never gave us a good reason. It was disappointing because I really wanted to meet them. One of my favorite bands next to rush when they played live they literally blew the roof off the roar of 50 thousand people rocking out to a 100 thousand watt sound system and three guys playing thier hearts out it was just hair raising fun
