@@debbieburgess2207 But politics is all about egos, isn't it? We don't hold the standards we seek in our partners to those in power. I think it would be better for Reform if he were in, not out. Over the next four years, we are going to see some considerable shifting (just look at what Ms Badenoch is doing today!). He would be a good candidate in the right constituency. We are about to witness a seismic shift in politics which this country hasn't seen since 1646.
Weird how it's been a right wing government in power for years, not the left. And weird that we don't see these kind of complaints coming from these figures when people are policed for pro palestinian and anti Israel comments.
But it is a children problem too, because they are learning how to treat each other. To meddle too much is not a good thing either. If later as adults there is not racisms in other institutions, it is because what used to be taught worked. Now what is being done is going to undo everything, because children will be more resentful to other races.
When Tommy spoke at The Oxford Union both he and they were shown to good advantage; Tommy was revealed as an astute, worthy and courageous man - 'despite' . . . "all". The establishment was humbled and we of the lower orders were glad of such a day. Free The UK's Political Prisoners !
As an old man now who has seen this country go from a race of people who were poor but reasonably happy, to a dreadful and unhappy band of mistreated downtrodden people. I have to say it but once you spoil the mix the taste becomes fowl.
DEI is a race to the bottom. It is an abandonment of accountability. As Jimmy Carr said, the difference between ambition and entitlment. Where you are now and where you want to be. If you want to do something about it. That's ambition. If you think it's someone elses problem. That's entitlement.
Regarding Alison Pearson, there were FOUR policemen, not two, but they did not talk about “non crime hate incident” and she acknowledges that in her interview. They claimed it was about hate crime (which it never was). Just saying…
When you are angry at someone, you call them the worst name you can think of. That is not the measure of anything, except a temporary emotion . You are racist if you view everything through the lens of race.
If one of these "intellectuals" stood up to stop this I'd listen but it's far too gone for that. They stood by and watching this happen and now wish to farm it for relevance or play controlled opposition soft gloves. Nah.
Because the people of those lands don't use it. It was and used by Anglo folk as a racist slur. You won't get Anglo folk using that term in any other context directly to the face of a Pakistani or other south asian
I would like to see him brought back in to the Reform fold, and differences settled. He's too good to leave out.
I wonder what his people in his country think about him?

@@barryfoster453 agree, he is an asset, not a liability.
Habib is incredibly right about his observations on the new Left & the insanity it has brought us. We need this guy today so badly.

The brilliant Ben Habib 👏 🙌
Oxford did allow Tommy Robinson to speak a few years ago before the thought police gained ascendency.
He was actually amazing at the Oxford speech
Hard to believe

Name-calling at school shouldn't be tolerated but for sure it should NEVER be a police matter. The school and parents should handle it.

@@estudiocontable3791 It's been proven that DEI training makes people MORE racist so I totally agrree!
surely 'name calling' is as ancient as language itself -
Andrew, you are a fantastic presenter!

WELL SAID !!
This man speaks so much sense. Ben we need you in politics. Yours really is the voice of reason.
I could listen to Mr Habib for hours at a time if Mr D Murray were also there!...a marvellous double-act of truth-telling...dgp
Habib is a Brounslow boy who spits facts.
The greatest trick the enemy can pull is convincing you they are on your side.

It’s an apartheid
Politicians believe in democracy when they're in opposition.
I’m tired of this DEI nonsense!!
DEI = DIDNT EARN IT
Name calling at school? You should have been at a comprehensive school in the 80s. Name calling was the least of your worries.
Spot on m8 was scrapping daily with my name ! Bet had more racism than black 2 in my year for sure 😊
HABIB GOOD MAN THAT MAN 👍👍
Shame he spat his dummy out because he didnt gain a seat in parliament

I prefer Ben to Farage
Me too
Great interview. By the way, you are a phenomenal interviewer.
DEI is inherently racist. Yes!
Ben is a lone wolf who stands for what he believes in- he and the other lone wolves need to get together
Yep he's that indeed and he's no team player hes best on his own
The irish also got crap as well
Oxford Union standing for what’s ring and speaking against genocide. Hats off to them ❤️

This is a serious question and is not intended to be racist. If the p word is wrong how come it’s acceptable to use Afghani and Uzbeki?
