Toddler hacks for sleeping: Don't use a bed, it's only 1 up energy. Get the dream home decorator tent which has 2 up arrows and is the best way to level toddler imagination and child creativity. You can also use a high chair for 3 up arrows while napping. I would also do something at home versus a go to work job. Painting, gardening and flower arranging are all good.
@@melanie_luv2_sew that's true for normal gameplay, but when you're trying to max their skills asap without using tiny home, it makes it less stressful.
@@melanie_luv2_sew Raised from infant to kid WITHOUT ever having a bed for them. Still got them to top out all of the toddler's skills. Infants are just fine sleeping on the ground, even outside when raining, and toddlers are just fine sleeping on couches.
Buy a YOGA MAT because children gain both motor AND mental + emotional control AND fun simultaneously!! Adults and teens can also use it, of course, but toddlers can also play on it and gain skill!
You can have a big house, but still have the tiny house lot. If you remove the foundation, for any room inside a house, it will count as being outside, even if its inside and roofed. That way, you can just have a small area with foundation, and then the house will be a tiny house, even when it's large. I've done that several times. :P
you could also make a smaller lower floor with stairs or a ladder to a roof deck area, as long as you don't make a full room the game doesn't count the tops of other rooms as square footage
Btw, I got confirmation today about something I was expecting but hadn't heard mentioned: The Magic Realm also counts as "always full moon" when it comes to charging jewelry. I wonder if Sixam does too?
You could buy the trash can that gives money for trash! It costs a lot, but every time you have a plate, a glass, a diaper, a pile of trash, you can just put it in the trash can and you get money for it. The more you use it, the more money it gives! It's basegame no mods. It's a necessity for me.
When I did the Super Sim, I found the Child Aspirations easy because so many of them overlap. The teen years is where it became hard for me because you need to max the after school activities and all the aspirations. I ended up chucking my game onto long lifespan for teenhood. Also, try doing scouts and Drama Club as a child too. Drama club doesn't give an extra trait but scouting does and I wanted my sim tomax that one too. I would recommend cheating for a "micro home" by building fake rooms for the skill gains. I know Lilsimsie just uploaded a "micor" 100 baby house. You could use that for inspo?
Ooh yes! It was pretty nice. There's a small chance that it was because I had the pixie pennies lot trait, so if by chance you kick them and you don't get anything, I would see if adding that lot trait makes a difference :).
For toddlers, to get their thinking skill maxed fast, just have them "watch" another sim. As long as that other sim stays still doing whatever activity the thinking skill will go up super fast. Also as a side note, growing plants is super useful, the toddlers can talk or play in the plants and you can harvest them for money. As a plus they can gain movement going between the plants. I know that kind of ruins the collectable thing but if you aren't worried about that or at least keep track of which plants you have grown it is useful. You could also start a fresh household when the super sim ages up to clear all the collectables and have a fresh list.
Thinking also goes faster for toddlers by watching other sims. You have to pause the game though and queue it up or do it on 2 separate sims. It won't let you select it again on the same sim if you're already doing it.
Let's all be real here, Sally is the real supersim at this point. Despite her physical and economic challenges she managed to raise a great daughter. Honestly thinking about it brings a tear to my eye...
Go to the spice festival! Its the best for rags to riches. Harvest plants (there's usually a cowberry), multiple poster and snowglobe spawning spots and always free food out to make into bags to take home. Dream big on the basketball hoop before leaving to boost your fitness skill. Always a profitable outing 💁♀️ Especially if a celeb turns up & get a autograph
Let's plant some expensive plant (i.g. a dregonfruit from city living festival) and have her use sulani mana to improve the quality of the plant and reap the profit!
For PC/Mac players, the top notch/happy toddler traits are still bugged. However, MMC has a mod to fix this bug if you'd like to get it from their tumblr, it's just called the Toddler Reward Trait Fix.
This is how I raise my sims, so it's interesting to finally see a good RUclips series doing the same thing and see where the differences are. Starting with the sleepover will be good for satisfaction points.
The activity table gives you the ability ti make a friendship bracelet, you can sell the little kit for more money. Also the slide, I believe the description said it only supported toddlers, so Tina won't need it as a child. Also, painting and gardening would be nice ways to raise money as you already know, but also, if not enough to get the materials, maybe selling some photos. Won't get much, but if done in bulk it could help as well. Not to mention Sally could sell very curse photos kejdhjekfh
You don't need Potty Training for the Top Notch Toddler trait, but it really help when the toddler can use the potty by himself. Wen the toddler is sent to day care, he'll build all of his skills. It's also good for his needs. Have the toddler play with the counters improve their thinking skill and fill their fun need. Asking «Whats that» is also good, as well as watching adults. Yes, my kids also ALWAYS miss their well deserved Top Notch Toddler.🤬 Have to cheat it in.
A little late to help out now, but i think you can have toddlers watch adults for thinking skills. That way Sally can maybe help out her needs a smidge while Tina gets a boost.
An idea for more time for the child aspirations: Maybe use the age reversal potion? (or whatever it's called) Would maybe require some grinding for the points needed, but it's probably worth a shot for the time it would give :)
Awesome! Can't wait to see what's in store for these ladies. It'll be nice to see some of your other Sims playing their part in the shenanigans and tomfoolery. Which we love. 💞 Have an amazing day!
the tiny house (level 2 is ok) really does make a huge difference. Get Sally thrifting and selling outfits for thousands. It takes a couple of goes but you make enough money to stop worrying about it.
This is fun. Are you going to make her a scout? If she earns all the badges and promotes to Llama Scout, you can earn the reward trait of "Scouting Aptitude" which gives: All of your scouting ability makes future earning of skills a little bit easier"
in the future, what i've found to be the fastest way to raise the imagination skill is by spamming the imagination interaction on that big toddler play structure. i think there's one in a park somewhere, and alternatively, i believe it can be won by hosting a toddler party
delete the toilet and get a pee bush for sally, will probably get you back a little bit of money and you dont need to ever replace them if im remembering correctly, also idk if you have a kitchen sink but it doesnt matter, as long as you have 1 sink thats what matters, but having two may be a bit more money then needed
Some of the growing together asperation milestone were pretty buggy last time i messed with them, good luck😅 tip for the teen asperations- you can only pick them while you are a teen, but they wont be de-selected upon ageing up, so as long as you complete most of them within the teen life-stage, you are not time limited on that last one. But take this with a grain of salt and cheack it for yourself because i havent play myself for over half a year Also i was wandering what will be your approch about aging down potions in this challenge? Most occults (including werewolves which tina already is) have an immortal ability somewhere, so it might wont even be an issue.
You really SHOULD do a bug count for the series, because I suspect there is going to be a lot of them. Freaking game sometimes. . .but hey, glad you got everything maxed AND actually managed to earn some cashola. Even if Sally is now Evil. Honestly, it suits her.
This is so ironic! I really needed this! But question, I maxed out all my toddler skills, and didn’t get top notch toddler trait. Is there a reason why? I’ve looked online and see a lot of people having this problem also.
Either the trait itself or the toddlers aging up is bugged in some way. I’ve taken to adding the trait manually if I really want it, but otherwise I just leave it.
You should really plant some crops for money! Evolving them and getting more rare plants is such a good way to make money. You can even keep some of the plants inside so the season does not affect them.
seeing this i realise that maybe some people aren't over reacting when it comes to glitches I only encounter speed glitches and I have tons of cc but I see people play with base game and still have a tough time
I have an idea for the money problem you can get Sally to write books as they will get weekly payouts for each book they write my sims became rich very fast
I admire your patience, I always end up cheating the infants and toddlers skills cos they are so annoying! I am currently playing an Occult baby challenge and have 5 kids aaagh. 1 baby, 1 infant, 2 toddlers and a child.xxx
I plan to do the scientist career first. They make a serum (age-away) that resets thier age to day one of thier current level, the cloning machine can clone it as many times as needed..... That is my plan at least. But I am still working on making my supersim, so that is awhile away.
I don't understand the point of having aging on if you're just gonna reset your sim's lifespan continuously with items. Like, you might as well disable aging completely if you're gonna do that anyway.
My toddler sim doesn't have the Ask Why? chat option with the caregiver. How can I get that? And he won't get his nightmare. I've left the thinking skill low on purpose, but he still won't get it.

Keep all drawings made on the activity table, get into the scouts and donate the drawings for the good deeds badge. Oh, and sign Tina for scouts!
Tina will absolutely be scouting :D
I love pawning the 2 simolean child drawings off as gifts!

This... This is the BEST "using a quote out of its original context" that I ever heard
either get a stay at home job like gardening (its the easiest one i believe) or try to get enough aspiration points for a money tree
So excited to see new characters in this lp!! It’s going to be so fun!!
Don't forget th doctor playset will give them bonus happy moodlet in th doctor and vetrenairen career and it boost the empathy character value
It’d be wise to use the little bear doctor toy to get her empathy up as a kid, it’s much harder to do once they’re teenagers
