lol haha. I mean, you try being a horribly inbred developmentally challenged incontinent single mother. If she isn't the named as the TRUE supersim (for raising Tina that well) by the end of this playthough, I'm going to rebel. Hard. And the Evil trait REALLY doesn't suit her tbh. No mom that amazing would be evil... I hope
scouts is easy if you cancel actions. Like dance for an hour then stop to get the physical badge. Start taking out the trash and then cancel as soon as you get the little ding. then you can throw out the trash and do it again like 6 times to increase responsibility. make a bunch of friendship bracelets and donate them for charity for free, etc. Good luck!
@@stephengalanis The super sim is going to be a teen in the next episode though. I dunno if he kept the childhood pictures. I know he can craft bracelets for free though.
I always do the social butterfly aspiration first since it is only BECOMING friends that counts and I want the friends that she is already starting to make to count
It depends if your game is bugged. The social butterfly aspiration always completes for me if I have a friend outside of the household and I talk to them to gain some amount of friendship while it's active.
The conflict resolution is a pain if you don't max it out as a child. Teaching the kid to say sorry is the best way to do it and I think you only have to do it two or three times to max out the character value. As a teen, conflict resolution can be maxed out, but it's really annoying.
I find the easiest way is to insult someone (negative empathy) and then apologize, lol. Empathy is easy to get with gift giving. You can also have friends who have bad relationships and fix the bad relationship which has a long cool down, but a big boost.
if she aged up with the outgoing trait that'd be halfway there (each character value has one trait that makes it halfway in the green and one halfway in the red, other than emotional control that has both erratic and jealous for red)
Just a little side not: you can't have the Brave trait and the Paranoid trait at the same time. You will have to retrait your super sim at some point to be able to purchase the Brave trait. Also, when it comes time for the Paranormal Career, consider using Beetle Juice to make your Super Sim a ghost so the haunts don't affect her. Worked a treat with mine. I simply made Ambrosia and brought him back when I was done.
I don't think you need a telescope to stargaze, but in any case, the San Myshuno public park lot has a telescope (and the big fancy one you can go into), for the next time you want to use a telescope and are short on money.
If you have Outdoor Retreat, you can stargaze by clicking on your sim at night. It's the same as cloud gazing. You do have to let it run until the check mark appears and it takes a bit.
I'm loving this series! My type A butt can never let anything be random when doing a super sim so I'm really enjoying seeing how that goes on your playthrough because I'm hoping it can get me to be a little less perfectionist in my play style. Thank you Petey! You keep the game fresh for so many of us!
If you want the mom to be more useful, you can make her try to get the snagglefluster. Im sure you know it, but just in case: It's a rare drink that i don't often see mentioned. You need to be level 9 of the mixology career- no higher or lower- and there's a rare event that'll either get you scammed, or a super effective drink for maxing skills. It's best to save your game before sending your sim to work. The mom can make it one time, and the child can clone it either with the cloning machine or with magic. OR just make the kid do all the work when they're older.
WOW. I'm wildly impressed. I'm proud of myself if I complete 1 aspiration while they're a child. You make me want to aim higher haha. Thank you for the wonderful video as always! It brightened my day.
Tip: Something I always do is make my family a group (I forgot what it’s called) and always have them gathering, then I use the points which help max skills quicker, which is useful :)
As someone who plays on short lifespan and often completes every aspiration with my heir, Moodlet Solvers are your best friend lol. I always buy them with other people in the household who have satisfaction points and give them to my heir. Fills all needs and removes all negative moodlets. Helpful for when it's crunch time.
Your series inspired me to try raising another toddler in my sim family (previous toddler is now a teen). It was great fun expanding the house and decorating the new rooms now that the family has excess funds (playing on long lifespan with a garden and a painter is crazy money). And then I remembered how frustrating it is to care for small sims and am strongly considering skipping straight to the child stage!
I'm living for this series! Those club names having character limits really did you dirty. Also, glad (and kind of sad) to see Sally looking a little less like she *always* wants to set the house on fire. Glitching as always but I think I saw her smile once.
Super impressed that you managed all the child aspirations in just 14 sim days! The sleep in a treehouse one is especially a nightmare. Granted I was juggling multiple kids when I tried, but that last task seems way harder than it should be. And teen Tina is so pretty! Looking forward to the next part!
laughed so hard when Tina played the violin and you said, "I could tell from the soothing tune that Tina will become a star." Your sarcasm is immaculate
Yah, the treehouse one is you have to sleep 6 hours in a row without waking up. You need to be in the red tired and also it cannot be close to morning because your sim will get a "wake up" call around 6am-7am. If their energy bar gets full before 6 hours, they will also wake up. In beds, they sometimes sleep until morning, but not in the treehouse.
Good luck with the teen aspirations. I find some of them difficult to complete because the game sometimes doesnt generate opportunities for sneaking out. Also i earned the admired icon reward trait before working on the drama llama aspiration (i think?) and really struggled to becone enemies with my rival, i was already very good friends with them and it was impossible to bring the friendship level down!!
Have Tina set the table and give compliments for manners, volunteer for a big empathy boost, yoga/diary/play violin with emotion/jog to clear mind/wind down with classical all for emotional control, help fix bad relationship (friendship interaction) for conflict resolution
Crazy how much you have to do for 8 aspirations (in a good way) while being broke 😂. Poor sally, but at least Tina will be able to bring home some money soon
If you shift click father winter and have option to add relationship bit (might be mod, cant remember), you can add father winter as father. Otherwise, love the challenge progress!
i just realised that i play every save like im making my main sim a super sim, i play on long lifespan coz it really bothers me when i cant max everything. The easiest way to do this is by jumping around the aspirations. Like I start off with the social aspiration to meet 5 sims then if my sim got playful, change to the motor aspiration and have them play on the jungle gym. That's the easiest way to play it in my opinion 😅
I can actually understand the mental lvl 6 picking plants/flowers as a kid i used to have this tiny bit of ground i could grow what ever in and i always harvested to early or to late the sims cant impliment that kind of thing obviously so since the sims always has a "perefect" harvest you need to know enough about gardening which an adult can in theory have even without the gardening skill but a kid cant as they get to excited ect for harvesting
I wanted to do something similar but my Sim had twins and now I'm not sure if I can handle doing all of this with two kids 😅 Both were top notch infants & toddlers but now in childhood I'm debating on splitting the aspirations and maybe making one more creative & the other one more physical
I love your editing style and how you storytelling with the game! it’s amazing ❤❤ do you write your script before you film the game? I am so interested in your process bcuz you’re the best sims RUclipsr doing this
I actually do the playthrough and write the script at the same time haha. I kind of have to because although I have direction in what I'm doing, random stuff in the game also influences what happens, so this way I have a lot more flexibility.
Whew -- that was a task and a half to do all those aspirations, huh? Though I think it would have been a little easier on poor Tina if you'd bounced between them so you were fulfilling multiple aspirations at once instead of apparently forcing her to do each one one at a time. . .at the very least, that might have avoided your Social Butterfly woes at the end!
It wouldn't make as good a story. I was watching a couple of streamers doing the supersim challenge and they do that and it is really hard to follow (probably murder to narrate) and kind of boring.
From memory I think it's just negative need moodlets they need to avoid, so you should be ok as long as you keep all of their needs super high. Have food made in advance and in the fridge if needed! And if you need to wake a sim to pee and eat even if their bars are around half then I would do that too :).

No, it is a glitch that happens if you age up sims with the werewolf traits and skip infancy. I am making my own supersim, and the whole family (unless they don't have any wolf blood trait/not werewolves) are glitching to toddlers and getting infant trait popups etc.
