Well Hoki's Track Pack is here to make your life easier! Simply download all 20 HTP props, and then design your own layout however you want with banks, complex corners, elevation changes and more!
To find the props, search for "HokiHoshi" and/or "HTP" in the prefab section of the creator hub, or while in the event lab build mode.

You should consider making an "iconic corner" pack with recreations of iconic bends from real tracks, laguna seca's corkscrew comes to mind immediately
Sadly the Corkscrew is impossible to build in event lab because we just aren't able to do elevation change like that with the existing tools/props - but there are definitely some others that come to mind that are possible!
@@HokiHoshi damn corkscrew always makes the bugs under my skin do the happy dance.
Hammerhead or Gambon corner, those two are iconic, the Top Gear Test Track is iconic in general.
How about spa’s eau rouge, an extremely famous corner. But if elevation is a limit Nurburgring’s carousel would be amazing.
The Posche curves from Le Mans could be interesting considering it shouldn't have elevation issues
I think this track-pack will really make it much easier for many people to create good and raceable racetracks. Big thanks in the name of the community for that video.🙏
And thx for the mention.😄
This is really cool but I think what would be awesome is if Playground made a system for the new game where you could draw out a layout and it would generate a track from that. So like you could use your cursor to make a 3d layout and then be able to select particular sections of the layout and edit the curves, elevation, and banking. Maybe you could even choose different surfaces for sections of the track and make some rallycross courses and whatnot. And then the game would generate the physical track and you could add props and barriers and such. I know this would probably be complicated but it would be so cool!
This concept was available in the 2010 Playstation game 'ModNation Racers' ! It was an extremely intuitive system and produced some amazing tracks in very little time. I'm always amazed at how games sometimes feel like a step backwards rather than actually improving 😢ruclips.net/video/nEWDnbnZ6N4/видео.htmlsi=rNMXz85X3G2BQYdj
Something like partnering up with City skylines road placement and upgrading or downgrade. Have a corner of the map with no roads on there where you could put your own and or adjusting current roads on the map to make them either pavement or dirt for your liking just by selecting it and converting
Just incredible seeing how easy it is to design track with your pack. Great job Hoshi
I wonder if having the option to make the checkpoints invisible during the race would help out with regard of visual satisfaction. They'll obviously still be visible in the editor.
I don't even know how many layouts I've junked because i couldn't get it the way I wanted. Yall are Gods to us mortals.
THANK YOU!!! finally i can build the tracks in always wanted to without spending days, you're a lifesaver!
Playground games added a track with your assets to Festival Playlist! I have just driven on it and it's smoooooth. Really great job, homever your work was unnecessary because they realeased official comonents for track building XDDDDD
Just irony of life
We need @edelmaenn4356 's Edel Circuit in Forza Motorsport, fits perfectly in with the other fictional tracks like Hakone and Grand Oak
Amazing work yet again! With all this EventLab stuff you've been doing recently, and having the island and prefabs... Are we heading for Tsukuba 2.0?
You're a legend
Reminds me a lot of Trackmania, very nice!
The reason why I don't like custom race tracks is that track it self doesn't look and feel like asphalt but looks like concrete block in front of you house of apartment building a prefer in-game existing roads used in Event lab.
bro, you're amazing
Can someone help. I've been wanting to try out all of hoki's tracks and these prefabs but pretty much when I search for anything in online on eventlab anf tunes/designs it never lets me and says something is wrong with the servers and check later. Please help because Ive been wanting to create a drift track.
Someone should make a NASCAR oval track.
these should genuenly just be 1 object props in the base game, similar to gta's track peices
They need to add the LBP Karting road painter
I'm sure it would be difficult to implement but it would be so cool in the future if we could have a mechanic where you can place props by drawing a racing line. Like in the Mexico map there's sections of dirt that connects to the road where you can create circuits there. Or even cooler, existing rally events completely converted into road events. But again, I'm sure it would be difficult to implement so that's just wishful thinking.
Maybe I'm a dumb trucker - but wish Playground Games will increase the Community props (and my own local props) you can reference / stored locally in library at time
I used the tbz pack to make a track called fcg grade none
It’s available in the fcg server name suggestions are welcome
Can you still publish Tracks With Custom Parts Fromm Other people?
was this track based of a real life track?
It's sort of a "wish.com" version of Lime Rock - but I didn't publish this track, it was just used to demonstrate the props for the video
Are the yard markers for turns backwards?
Can you do a “Nurburgring karussell type of corner withe the 2 different elevations on the same corner?
You should make a penalty box for us to keep Magnus in during the Streams 👀
Also a Dirt Version :P
No mere mortal can contain me
@@magnus8069 We'll have to resort to extreme measures then
Into the Jar you go
noooooooooo not the jar@@kspectre21
hello, I'm a french fh5 track creator and I have a question, when I build a track, I can't finish it because I reach the 100% (budget) before, how can I build more and save some % ??
how are the other creators you mentioned at the end called, i'm trying to find them
I'm GGO Scarlet I'm some what working on Forza recreation of initial D mountain and I'm practicing for remaking fujimi kaido
The fact that the community has to do what PGGs should have done when they first thought up of the event lab is kind of sad really.
Hi can you make a tutorial for an extereme banked curbs? i haven't figured out how to connect the straight bits to the corner elevation and it stressed me out tbh
LMAO at my Twitter post 😂😂😂
is there any more playable racing game in xenia? fh1 was wonderful to play for a first time player without the nostalgia.
this is legendary
Can you turn ghosting always off using eventlab Island?
The editor still doesn't come close to GTA online's racetrack editor sadly. There you had a limit of 300 parts and props if I remember right, and you could build all kinds of tracks. In Horizon, the prop percentage fills up after having built a track that's about the size of Tsukuba. That's embarrassing.
Reminds me of gta track pieces
northshlife carousel😈
Its unfortunate no other gave has ever attempted a user generated track tool that they could take inspiration from to make it more user friendly.
Not a single one example in the history of gaming. They just had to start from zero and come up with what we have whole cloth because there sure isnt any better example they could have ever pulled from.
I think Gran Turismo 6 attempted that.
Rockstar has better track creator in GTA online and its nor even racing game
Wait so Road America is gonna be possible and amooth now??
probably not, the elevation change is too stark
@@magnus8069 I mean I hope it's possible😭 at least rhe elevation isn't as sharp as the corkscrew
I want to build a proper race track but i don't really know what makes a good track. Can someone help lmao

Only negative is these prefabs make the game choppy af
How do you mean? Prefabs don't have any affect on framerate that the normal props wouldn't, and simple custom tracks on EL island can actually run better than the vanilla open world map. It's only when people push the prop budget itself that framerate starts to take a hit on older consoles/budget PCs
@@HokiHoshi i am playing on a One S. I havent played FH5 since new year, so i dont know if it has changed at all, but when i passed a certain number of prefabs, my game would become choppy, both on editor and race mode
I think that's more due to the specific prefabs being used than the number of prefabs themselves. Complex prefabs can definitely fill up your prop budget quickly and start to cause FPS issues, but simple platforms and concrete slabs like I used in this video are super efficient - even as prefabs. I've got an OG Xbox One myself that I performance test tracks on and can definitely still hit a smooth 30 on many simpler tracks!
@@HokiHoshi i might try your pack, seens very handy. thanks alot, this makes stuff alot easier. i was doing a little street circuit on the game and wanted some advice on it, but i forgot the code to it :P

Some one get this man a beer
There are a few local tracks I used to race at that I would love to build. Maybe I’ll try it now, thanks!
Now that forza has added this kind of stuff tracks are going to be getting much better
This will now allow me to make Oulton Park. Thank you for the pack
i mean, the idea of a piece system is neat and all, but for the asphalt and the terrain, imo, PGG would have much more success in doing an Spline base system for the track and terrain. of course Forza is not Blender, but hey, if we got something easier to build like the track path creator from GT6 or race track builder for asetto corsa, we could have much much more creative stuff poping in an out.
I know in the past there were no pieces in the eventlab that really gave similar grip to the regular roads in the game (pretty sure most gave less grip). Do these asphalt pieces offer the same grip as normal roads?
They're still a bit less than vanilla roads, but you can set a custom rule to add about 3-5% gravity to your track and that counteracts the lack of grip pretty well!
@@HokiHoshi Thank you for the reply, I will keep this in mind in the future when working on eventlab
wow, I'll definately be trying this out, I've been wanting to try creating some tracks but keep putting it off because doing it piece by piece is rather intimidating
Honestly I tried to make circuits back when on horizon when the checkpoints were broken... they did eventually fix it but after 8~ hours of trying to make a circuit with the checkpoints breaking every time... I never bothered again.
That said this is awesome. I was making some photo realistic decals until they banned the third party tools... which I had moved to since tracks were - broken.
haha now you're gonna have to remake all of these with the seamless asphalt and grass pieces
Superb - video; this will help me to create some Track EV shortly, just trying to get brain juice ready to think of some tracks to create and also waiting for new Props to be announced / delivered this Thursday
I’m having trouble with one incline and one decline getting back to flat. Thank you for this BTW!
I used your modular system and it works pretty good. I am have trouble finding curbing that fits the turns though. Curbing and shoulders shown in your videos look great. Why can't I find any?
I don't use the official curb props (most people don't) - most track creators do every curb by hand using things like the colored rectangle shapes. It's tedious but the effort is definitely worth it
@@HokiHoshi I wasn't talking about official props. I found a few that people made but you should consider adding the red and white curbs to your modules.
It's something I experimented with, but the coordinate system sadly kind of makes it impossible to make reliably good prefab curbs, they end up not being that useful either because every corner kinda needs its own unique curbing depending on how it flows with the rest of the track, so ultimately I find it easier to hand build curbs for each track.
could you please spell the names of the experienced track creators you mentioned at the end? 9:43

There are a bunch of others that fall into the category, depending on what type of event you're looking for.
When do we see Bathurst ?
likely never, it's impossible to replicate The Dipper, or the entire mountain section in general
is it possible to make even steeper banks, such as what you see on tracks like monza oval, brooklands, or the circuit de terramar
Not really. The tarmac platforms are only available as rectangles which makes it very hard to build the entry/exit of the banking. With triangular shapes it would be a different story though
It would be nice to get some hairpin pieces.
Thanks for making the curb prefabs! I used them for a track alongside the HTP pieces.
@@aeqnx:)
It would be awesome to have a road painting tool similar to what the PS3 karting game Modnation Racers has. RIP Modnation Racers btw
