    LINKS LISTED AT THE END OF DISCRIPTION
    Ok, now that we got the disclaimer out of the way, let’s dive into what today’s video is going to be about. In today’s video, we will show you how you can get your 5 to 7 Factory installed Goat Modes up to a full herd of 8! That’s right, there are 8 modes & NONE of the Broncos from the factory will have all 8. They intentionally leave one out. Different packages will have different varying degrees of the goat modes. Check out the list below:
    Base Model: Normal, ECO, Sport, Slippery, and Sand.
    Big Bend: Normal, ECO, Sport, Slippery, Sand, and Mud/Ruts.
    Black Diamond: Normal, ECO, Sport, Slippery, Sand Mud/Ruts, and Rock Crawl.
    Outer Banks: Normal, ECO, Sport, Slippery, Sand, and Mud/Ruts.
    Badlands: Normal, ECO, Slippery, Sand, Mud/Ruts, Rock Crawl, and Baja.
    Wildtrak: Normal, ECO, Sport, Slippery, Sand, Mud/Ruts, and Baja.
    First Edition: Normal, ECO, Slippery, Sand, Mud/Ruts, Rock Crawl, and Baja.
    As you have noticed in each of the packages, there’s tradeoffs. Even the First Editions do NOT come with all 8.
    So, where’s the lost goat or goats? Since some models only come with 5 to 7 installed, you may have to find the ones that are lost. They must be found! So, let’s be good shepherds & find them.
    Forscan is an automobile diagnostics scan tool used mainly by professionals. Download the software onto the computer, plug it into the vehicle under the dash to the plug to the right of your hood release. Plug the USB end to the computer.
    The vehicle must be ON for this to work. We recommend 2 people to do this simply because it will be a lot easier.
    ****SECOND DISCLAIMER****
    DO NOT DRIVE WHILE DOING THIS - NOT ONLY IS IT DANGEROUS, ITS ILLEGAL. We will NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE for your actions.
    ***************************************
    Our main advice to offer you at this point is to TAKE YOUR TIME and always READ what’s on the screen CAREFULLY because there are things you need to know what you can mess with and what you can’t.
    So, for a very first maiden scan - save a system restore point. This is your FACTORY SETTINGS RESTORE POINT. SAVE IT!!! Do NOT proceed further until this step takes place first.
    For the rest of the steps - just watch our video. Pause it, time stamp it so you can see any steps you need, pause & write it down, or take a photo of the info/steps that we will show you of how to do this to find the 1 to 2 lost goats & get them home under the hood where they belong.
    We hope this video helps. We have a copy of the goat modes on our website. Like, follow, subscribe, hit the bell. THANKS FOR WATCHING!

    Hi guys I haven't commented in a while!! You may remember I ordered an Outer Banks in Oct 2021! Well, it is in production now. With a delivery date of 2/12/22. The dealer rep. called me this morning and wanted to know if I wanted to come and drive one of their Demo's. I did, and it was a Big Bend like yours, in area 51 color. Guess what Happened ? I bought the Big Bend ,a lot of the reason why is because of your videos. Thanks a lot guy's I now have a Bronco Albeit a 2021. Only had 7 miles on it !!! I love it !!!! Grateful in Virginia !!!!!!

    Very helpful guys. Thank you! I have a 2022 Outer Banks on order and would like to add the Baja GOAT mode. Here's a question: If you enable a GOAT mode that normally operates a component that you don't have on your particular model, front locking diff, or sway bar disconnect, for example, will it still work for everything else?

    • @1Five1Garage
      @1Five1Garage  2 года назад +4

      While the big bend doesn’t have all the components as the others it does change the components it does have for the mode you selected.

      I also wonder, let's say Rock Crawl mode software expects the differentials to be locked, hence maybe it will not employ electronic braking control to deal with wheel spin? I'm just wondering about aspect such as that. I wonder on a Base with no lockers, what is really the best mode for dealing with slow speed rock crawling type trail work, in terms of wheel spin.

    @BullGearOffRoad 2 года назад +6

    I'm sure there are reasons why they don't include those GOAT modes on certain models. My guess is because your vehicle is probably missing certain components to complete that mode.. things like having an electronic disconnect for Rock Crawl mode and front and rear lockers, and you have the 2.3L and the Baja Mode is designed for larger engine sizes and LIVE Fox Suspension which includes computer tuning and also opens up the exhausts modes that most models don't have. The New Raptor Bronco has all modes because it has all of the above. I wonder what having it one of the modes you added does without having the components to go with them? When you guys researched it, did you look into that and see how it may affect those modes? Appreciate the video.

      The current, higher-level Bronco trims (e.g., BL, WT, FE) all have the Baja G.O.A.T. mode enabled from the factory with 2.7L engines and Bilstein coilover suspensions. None of those trims have the 3.0L engine or LIVE Fox Suspensions on the Bronco Raptor, so those components are not necessarily required for Baja mode.

    After viewing this video, I checked my own vehicle to see if I can get any extra GOAT modes, but discovered I don't have even ONE GOAT mode. Confused, I then checked to make sure I have a Bronco -- I didn't, I have a Jeep (Gladiator). I'm guessing that may be the reason I have no GOAT Modes? I just have this transfer-case shift-lever I have to physically move myself (do some work as it does takes some effort/force to accomplish). :-(
    Seriously though, I don't mind having an "Old School/DIY" 4WD system...I just have to learn to use it properly as it's up to the driver vs. electronics.

    • @1Five1Garage
      @1Five1Garage  2 года назад +2

      We use to take horses everywhere too. but with time comes the advantages of technology. Jeep will come out with something that the bronco doesn't have. the Customers are the ones that will benefit the most from a little competition.
      as I stated multiple times I love Jeeps just don't fit do to the bar over my head. The way I sit because of the fused back puts the bar less then an inch above my head. Pulled out of the Jeep dealership and hit my head when I drove over the speed bump. Tried to adjust a little better without pain to my lower back and couldn't get away from the bar.

    • @billredding2000
      @billredding2000 2 года назад +2

      @@1Five1Garage That's a good reason for going with the Bronco -- a better physical fit for you...no way you could put up with that over time. Haven't hit my head yet on the bar (do NOT like the headrest though -- can't get it adjusted properly), but then I'm only 6' tall so probably too short to hit it anyway.
      However, the MAIN reason I have a Gladiator is I needed a mid-size TRUCK, as the mid-size SUVs (like the Bronco & Wrangler) can't tow enough (3500lbs) -- I needed at least 5000lbs. So only the Chevy Colorado ZR2 (5000lbs) and the Gladiator (7000lbs) would do. Couldn't GET a ZR2 (unavailable on dealer lots back then: Parked for months at a GM factory due to lack of computer-chips) so I went with Plan B, the Gladiator (Rubicon).
      But I'm in no way a Jeep FanBoy, and have no brand loyalty -- was just speaking to the Bronco owners who see Jeeps in an adversarial way (if you will). Myself, I see Broncos and Wranglers as equals capability/performance-wise, and the only real difference of note is the "club" you want to be in -- Ford or Jeep. ;-)

      I don't like the one is better then the other thing that people do. While jeeps and great at some, broncos are great at others. The then there is Toyotas they are just great at everything...lol. The funny thing is the next vehicle, after the Broncos, we are looking for is a Lotus Exige. I can fit in that comfortably.
      As far as towing, we have a F350 diesel. But you are right the towing capacity on Bronco and the Wrangler suck...

    • @1Five1Garage
      @1Five1Garage  Год назад +2

      ROCK CRAWL (IF EQUIPPED)

      Rock Crawl For off-road driving. For optimum rock-climbing ability. Rock crawl mode engages the four-wheel drive lock. Rock crawl mode optimizes the vehicle systems to provide maximum traction and slow speed performance. Lower gears hold longer in rock crawl mode to minimize shifting when traversing rocks and obstacles. The accelerator pedal dampens to improve throttle control and minimize speed change over rough terrain. The steering optimizes for less effort with reduced kick-back. Rock crawl mode optimizes braking for off-road conditions, allowing quick path corrections and minimized stopping distance when on deformable surfaces. The engine sound enhances when in rock crawl mode.
      The rear differential lock feature enables in rock crawl mode. When enabled it is engaged below 30 mph (48 km/h). You can disable the feature using the drive mode controller.
      Note: The front camera system switches on when you are in rock crawl mode and your speed is less than 15 mph (24 km/h). If you exceed 15 mph (24 km/h), the camera shuts off until your vehicle speed is below 12 mph (20 km/h). You can switch the camera off using the button on the audio unit.
      Note: This mode may help get your vehicle unstuck from deep snow or sand.
      Note: Do not use this mode on dry, hard pavement. This could produce some vibration, driveline bind up, and potential excessive tire and vehicle wear depending on the four-wheel drive mode selection.

      @@1Five1Garage I have researched safety features affected, but have had no luck finding anything. Which safety features are you referring to? Second guessing FORScan elimination of the auto start/stop (after the fact, now), and considering changing FORScan setting back, and investing in the autostop eliminator.....

    I did this tonight and now i have a P160A fault code. When I turn the car on it, it’s saying to service 4 x 4 soon. I’m new to foreskin, and I cannot figure out how to set everything back to factory settings. I did save factory settings, but I don’t know how to put them back.

    Noticed your shirt. Is "Sex Wax" a Florida thing that I am too Nebraskan to understand?

      Lol yes sex wax is a surf board wax by Mr. Zogs. Not just a Florida thing, a surfer thing.

    Wouldn't this void your warranty?

    • @1Five1Garage
      @1Five1Garage  2 года назад +1

      It all depends on you dealership. They have to prove it was the cause of the failure.

    What is the point of adding all these if you don’t have lockers?

    • @1Five1Garage
      @1Five1Garage  11 месяцев назад

      because we could :) and you can add lockers after the fact - I know a guy doing it now to his bronco. :)

    Why would you even consider voiding your factory warranty on an expensive vehicle like this ? If you wanted all those G.O.A.T. Modes, why not order the Bronco that had them on it ?

    • @1Five1Garage
      @1Five1Garage  2 года назад +1

      No Bronco comes w all 8. Even the Raptor comes with only 7. As far as the warranty- you can always change it by. 🙃
