Just put a deposit on one almost exactly like this one. Only difference is it's not AWD. I'm fairly certain you don't have to unlock the car with the key fob to open the liftgate as it has a proximity key. My 2018 works that way, so I see no reason why Hyundai would change that.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate your feedback. I do listen and change. My newer videos are much better. I cringe when I see my old videos trust me hahaha 😂
Awesome review. I really wanted the 21, this 22 may be better than many variants… wish it had ventilated seats and a bigger moon roof. But what a good package
Actually, NO. I was just at my Hyundai dealership. This engine in the Tucson makes the bigger SUV under powered. Plus, the Tucson is about $5K more (at least at the dealership).
The Tucson costs a bit more. And not everyone wants more space. Especially city drivers like the compact size of the Kona as it is almost 3' less long than the Tuscon, which makes parking and general city driving much easier and more comfortable.
@@Steve_in_NJ yes I agree. It was closer to 35,000. Price point before taxes and registration. It’s also larger. I don’t need or want that size vehicle. Kona is a subcompact car.
@@Steve_in_NJ Very true. We were going to get a 2022 Tucson SEL. However, because of the short supply, the dealers in our area and even those within a 200-mile perimeter are charging anywhere from $2500 to $5000 oner MSRP! The 2022 Kona Limited is now our top choice. The Limited and the N-Line also have a more powerful engine than the Tucson SE, SEL, N-Line, and Limited! Goodbye Tucson, hello Kona!
My 2019 Kona Limited lease ends in November, and THIS is my next leased Kona! I was just at my dealer for routine service and I saw this same car (red with gray interior). I want this car, just not the AWD version. This Kona has all the electronic bells and whistles that I need for the price.
I live in CT. I purchased this car, same color but with Black interior. I feel really lucky that I was able to find a Limited. I love the car so far, the one big gripe I have is, it does not have a power lift gate, and a power passenger seat. Those 2 items should really be available if the buyer wants to purchase them. Other than those items, I’m good!
@@dorothypagliaccio8901 No power lift gate is a pet peeve of mine too. My 2019 Limited has a trunk release on the key fob but it doesn't do anything. Glad that Hyundai replaced that with a remote start (even if I've used the Bluelink app on my phone to remote start for 3 years).
@@Iegend17 I was told that Hyundai didn't have as much as an issue with chip shortage due to how they bulk purchase in advance. Issue with cars though, is that manufacturing was shut down for almost a year due to COVID but I was told that I should have a plethora of Kona SUV to choose from by November.
Sensor on door handle, digital dash, AWD, and that beautiful infotainment! That’s amazing!
Like this KONA LIMITED alot…..am considering it for my next vehicle in a few years. I am presently in a ‘2021 VW Tiguan.

Just replace "going to be" with "is" and the video is perfect! :-) Thanks for a great review ...

its really nice just a little over priced, you could get a Tucson with more features and space for about the same price

This color is amazing. I hope you can find it since there is the chip shortage and there is barely any cars at the dealerships :(

Hi I have this car and I just love it this car I have was a demo in so happy I made the right move on buying this car
Congrats :)
Why no paddle shifters especially with a DCT?????????????????????????????
The N-Line sports version will have them!
I have the 22 Hyundai Kona SEL! But it doesn’t have the convince package… I wish I had heated seats and leather steering wheel in this car! :(
Thinking about trading my sonata for this
You will love it. :)
Is there a remote stater in and how long does it starts, is it 10 minutes?
Yes on the key. I showed it in min 5:55. And I think it has blue link so I think you can start it from the phone. And I think 10-15 mins
I love your videos
It’s that AWD limited?
Yes, mine is. 2022.
No heat on steering .
It’s a kona Robert lol
Nice to see 195HP! too bad KIA doesn't out this powerplant in their Seltos
Same engine as my 21 Sonata Limited

The front could be better 😔
Ikr looks horrid😅
That is one ugly front end.
Yuck. Looks like they couldn't make their mind up on a front end and mashed them together. Serously - woof.
