I Feel so bad for you because I was lucky to pull Kasumi while pulling on ichikas banner and was able to still get Ichika even after getting Kasumi on Ichikas banner herself 😭 I'm so lucky

You must be casually playing all things considered, since I started playing just January and I'm already at Lvl 73. In anycase, my advice is that you don't pull without a guaranteed at all. Some people do that, and it kinda works, but it's always better to be safe than sorry. That's especially true considering this gacha has one of the lowest appearance rates during a rate-up in a gacha I've played.
I've explained it in another video where a guy also kept pulling their pyros without guaranteed, but Blue Archive has one of the lower appearance rates in a banner rate-up, which is around total 20ish% for a boosted banner. Which means even if you hit that 3% SSR rate, you only have a 20ish% chance to get the boosted banner. Compare that to FGO which has a high 80% boosted banner even at a lower 1% SSR rate. The calculation for the banner has to do with how gachas usually do their calculations, usually by character/rate-up divide by the SSR rate. That's why FGO's is very high because it's always ratio'd to 1 and why it's common to see get multiple SSRs in BA but barely the rate-up. This is similar to other mobages as well like GBF, which has a high SSR rate but low character rate.
Just to accentuate how really low that is realistcally speaking, I have a pretty good PC, which ran 12 emulations of BlueStacks for Blue Archive just to reroll, and it took quite a number of rerolls on all accounts for rerolling well over a day just to get an account I was satisfied with...all to do it once more when Summer Hina/Summer Iori came out a week after, because I tried rolling without sparking with my new account. So I had to do another 12 emulations for rerolling them into an account that lasted for atleast a good chunk of hours of rerolling.
If you're on global, you have a 6~7 month gap advantage from JP to plan ahead by looking at the banners and use a pyro planner(there's one made that calculate all upcoming pyros JP had as well that's posted in the wiki). In my case, I'm currently sitting on 87k pyro, but I'll be skipping a lot of banners due to pyro planning calculated that it won't be enough in my planned banners if I don't skip some, so only planned Banners and then on anniversary on July, for a planned quad spark(96,000 pyro), D Ako, Makoto, D Hina, and S Hoshino. All of those are coming in just under 4 months as well, so I can't be spending pyro randomly, so those are all spark guaranteed, meaning I always plan for the worst-case scenario. The advantage here is that, not only do you guarantee the character, but on the off-chance you get them before you hit spark, you save the remaining pyro for future banners.
The bad thing about BA's gacha is basically also it's greatest advantage. Since most of the characters aren't limited, and the rate is 3% per SSR, there's always that high random chance you get those non-limited characters you want. So if you do manage to spark 200 rolls, there's a good chance you'll also get other SSRs in the process and just hope one of them are the SSRs you wanted before.
TL;DR: don't get swept to spend on every banner. Learn to plan ahead, look at the upcoming banners and save. I don't know how many gachas you've played, but it's always a good idea to make the most out of a spark/pity system especially when you're purely f2p.

Goddamn! Thanks for the info. I never checked the rate ups in this game and just pulled willy nilly lmao. I didn't know it's that bad. What's more concerning is that this isn't my first gacha game lmao.
But while I do appreciate the advice, I'm gonna continue doing things my way if you don't mind. I am a casual player for the most part. This is one of the gacha games I focus less on, so I don't really mind if I don't get the character I want. I started this game because I wanted regular Aru and I got her, so I'm mainly just chilling.
Perhaps one day I will save up for a spark. Also, I commend everyone who can save for a spark because I sure can't ahaha... Again, thanks for helping me out 👍
