Brooke is the only Hope in Coalmines : Day 3 of CEO UK visit to Pakistan

A Journey to Choa Saidan Shah's Coalmines 🐴one of the most challenging and remote areas of Pakistan.
Coalmines are some of the toughest workplaces, where both humans and animals endure backbreaking labor to earn their livelihood.
For many of these hardworking animals and their owners, Brooke Pakistan is their only lifeline. Chris witnessed firsthand the incredible efforts of our dedicated team, providing essential veterinary care and support to the animals in this harsh environment. He praised the team's commitment and highlighted the need for continued and enhanced support in such critical areas.
Later in the day, Chris met with the local Mines Rescue Department, where he was briefed on their collaboration with Brooke Pakistan. Together, they work tirelessly to respond to emergencies, ensuring the safety and welfare of both animals and workers.
To close the day, the team was graciously hosted by Ms. Mehwish Sultana Mehwish Azmat Hayat Member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab. She commended Brooke's impactful work and expressed her support for taking more sustainable steps towards animal welfare. She also offered her willingness to champion this cause in the Punjab Legislative Assembly.
