Whether I’m heading out on short hikes or longs ones, I always like to carry a pack. The Fourteener 24 hydration pack (14er for short) is the perfect pack for any adventure you may be embarking on. While it excels in the hiking category, I’ve used it for travel, motorcycle adventures, and even as a camera pack. Not only does the Fourteener 24 come with a 3L Crux Reservoir, it is a perfect size, has plenty of pockets to help you stay organized, and is comfortable for all-day adventures.
Probably the most unique feature on the 14er is the way the hip belt is designed. The Dual Wing Belt allows for “seamlessly integrated cargo compression and offers a variety of options for additional essentials storage” (www.camelbak.com). It ensures that you won’t be uncomfortable if you stash your extra water bottle or trekking poles. It lets you have the complete function of the hip belt no matter what extras you’re bringing. There’s also a nice big pocket on the outside of the belt that is perfect for my phone. I don’t like to have anything in my hands when I’m hiking and so this is a great place to stash my phone yet it’s easy to reach quickly when I want to take a photo.
CamelBak has done an incredible job with pockets on this pack. First of all, I love that the reservoir pocket is entirely separate and coded with blue zipper pulls. In the main compartment, there are two large zipper closure pockets, which are great to keep your valuables safe, secure, and organized! I always find that the inside zipper pockets are too small but with the 14er, I can easily fit all of my valuables. There is also a nice sunglasses/electronics pocket on the outside top of the pack and it is lined with a super soft fabric so as not to scratch your glasses. To me, the Fourteener 24 is a perfect size and is adaptable for longer trips or simple short day trips. Personally, I’d rather have too much room than not enough.
The Fourteener 24 fits both Tyson and me really well. We are both on the taller side (5’10 and 6’0) and while I have an average torso length, he definitely has a longer torso. The shoulder straps are adjustable and so is the sternum strap. This is key for women so we can adjust to our figure! The Air Support Back Panels are very comfortable and help support the pack-even with a heavy load-however, is still breathable on those hot days. The pack feels super solid on no matter how much weight we have it loaded down with.
If you’re looking for an everyday hiking pack that will stay comfortable and secure no matter the adventure, look no further than the CamelBak Fourteener 24. You won’t be disappointed with how you can stay organized, comfortable, and prepared in any situation.

No I'm sorry we have not tried that one.
Could I use this for biking on rails for trails?
Josh Kight They do make some cycling specific packs but there is no reason you couldn’t use this.
Best review! She didn't say "uhh, umm, err" throughout the entire video.
