Great review, thanks!! This is my second CamelBak 14er and there are many changes with this model. Your walk-through was very thorough and overall excellent!! I learned about several features that I was not aware of. Thanks again!!
@@basecampchris yep I took it on a test hike recently and it is very comfortable as compared to the previous version I had. The way it sits on your back and the extra padding on the straps have made for great improvements. Will be taking it out to Colorado to do a 14er here in a few days.
Thanks for the review. Just a suggestion if you let me. Removing the decoration stuff you have on the table should help having enough space to work with the backpack. Seems that you had some issues while trying moving the pack around. Maybe the table is too tall as well.
Chris - I've purchased the Fourteener 24, but it's slightly too big for what I'm looking for. Any chance you could do a review of the Fourteener 20? I've checked over the specs on the Camelbak website, and I think it's different enough from the 24 to warrant a separate video. Many thanks - I continue to enjoy your videos.
Hi Captain David, Yes I would consider that...currently working on an Osprey Aether 70 video. I'll look into that and add it to my schedule. Thanks for your support!
Thanks Chris - another fabulous and very informative video. I love both Camelbak and Osprey packs. Tough question here - which would you prefer - the Osprey Manta 24 or this Camelbak Fourteener 24 for a good day hike?
The Camelbak is very comfortable and well built....I have the Manta 24 and usse that but i'd be happy with either,,,they are very comparable! Idid'nt even answer your question...OK Manta 24! ( wait camelbak...no..)lol

Ha ha - yes, it's a tough decision that one. Only one way to solve it - I'll get both!! Thanks again.
Your welcome...That would work...or just return the one after a day of trying them out.
