The Fourteener 26 Hydration Pack by CamelBak is the ideal pack for any of your all-day adventures. Not only is the Fourteener comfortable; it’s stable, and is the perfect size for all the necessities. The Fourteener is designed to keep you hydrated, organized, and comfortable.
First and foremost, I love the fit and feel of the Fourteener. The dual-wing hip belt allows for a dialed fit every time you throw the pack on and carries the weight of the pack on your hip instead of your back/shoulders. You won’t have unnecessary fatigue on your shoulders or back after a long day of wearing the Fourteener. The dual-wing system allows for you to load the hip belt pockets and not feel the contents on your hips.
The back panel as well as the straps of the Fourteener are built with airflow in mind. The back panel includes CamelBak’s Air Support system. The Air Support means less surface area on your skin, more airflow, and mesh, breathable material where the pack does connect with your body. I’ve found that even though it’s incredibly breathable, it does not feel unstable on my back. The connection is there, but it’s not sweaty like usual.
Overall, the pockets within the Fourteener are spot on. They keep me organized no matter what I’m doing and the front microfiber-lined pocket is especially key. My favorite pocket is the zip pocket on the hip-belt. It perfectly fits my iPhone and I can quickly and easily access the phone while the pack is on for photos and videos.
The Fourteener comes with the Crux 3L CamelBak Reservoir which I’ve found to be the perfect size bladder for long day hikes. The Crux is sweet because it has a quick connect hose attachment which makes filling hassle-free.
This pack is our day pack of choice and will continue to be for years down the road. It’s simple yet well thought out, has great pocket choices, and is breathable yet supportive and stable. If you’re interested in purchasing the Fourteener 26, doing so using our provided link supports us as we get a small kickback from your purchase. We appreciate the support!
*We received this pack for free in exchange for a review, however, it’s important to know that all thoughts are our own.

Will the Camelbak Crux Lumbar Reservoir from the CB Skyline fit in this pack? I'm thinking it would be good to lower the centre of gravity.

I’m not sure and we’re not around to try it. I would give them a call and ask.

Can you fit it a snow shoe on it?

It's not necessarily made for snowshoes but I think with some ingenuity you could get a pair on it.

What is the largest waist a person can have with this bag?

I’m not sure. I would touch base with camelbak and ask.
