Seeing educated college kids believing whiter skin is more attractive just kills me. I personally love & appreciate all skin tones. This thinking is so antiquated, it's crazy!
@Elon Pate Nah, it's antiquated. As well as extremely unhealthy & destructive. As for the rest of your rant, that may be true for some as there are definitely shitty ppl in this world. However, labeling large groups of ppl into a sweeping generalization does nothing to benefit the end goal of unity. That's just as racist as the white ppl in your statement.

That rapper is very hypocrite and reckless and she doesn't look beautiful with her bleached skin and plastic surgeries. On the other hand, the black model is very beautiful. It's not about the skin people, wake up!!
What you are trying to say is that what you are born as is beautiful, correct? Because if it’s not about the skin then why should we care what color people want to look like?
They have to sail a fake world which means that They don't care what's in the product as long at it bring it in the money Which may if I was a man in Africa I would not want a light skin woman who has bleached herself she is Fake It's Tales me that that woman have low self esteem
❤️🙏🏼💪🏼💯Stay true to yourself. Dark skin is beautiful.Never give in to any silly pressure! In Europe people use lipfillers, Brazilian butt lift, they want there body to be curvy😆. Those are dark skin features 😁.things are changing, we must never lose our identity. A mixed race woman is telling you this. I am proud of you. I hope people around you are taking you as an example. I pray.❤️🙏🏼
As a light skinned Jamaican woman I say to all my sisters that your skin is Gold 🙏🏼♥️ if your complexion is dark skinned love yourself I can’t tell you with enough words how beautiful you are ❤❤❤ “the lighter the better”💢⁉️ is not true. I’m sorry some of these people feel like they need to do this. I admire your complexion it’s beautiful and butter smooth. You glow in the sunlight like a Goddess 🙏🏼❤️ I pray you love you for you. I’m light skinned and I’m telling you I admire you and your Gorgeous theirs no need to do this to your blessing.
A super white European here (white as snow, lol). Please DON'T bleach your skin. Black is beautiful, brown is beautiful, white is beautiful... Every other color or shade is beautiful!
@B P I can't tan even *if* I wanted to. I also only burn so I guess I just don't want to be in pain as the top layer of skin is peeling whilst I'm trying to sleep.
B P actually I know many of my white friends who hate being pale so they use sun beds. It is harmful as well. Black people lightening their skin is a result of white ppl making dark skin unattractive. It’s actually shunned in the Black community whereas tanning is embraced in the white.ive seen many comments saying “white women are not trying to be black” but tbh they like the aesthetic... they pump their lips, do curly perms to get hair texture and get their bums/ hips done. The white aesthetic was more popular in the 90s but since then the Kardashian’s changed the western beauty standards..which mimics BW.
B P I agree tho that everyone wants what they don’t have. The few black women who bleach is a result of cultural assimilation not appropriation. Appreciate your comment tho.
tar baby 1- they’re pink yarn twists, a protective hairstyle I used to give my natural hair a break from daily manipulation 2- this is an old picture but regardless what I said still stands
I am white. I find the darkest dark almost black-chocolate skin so beautiful and stunning. Anything that is natural and healthy is beautiful. I am delighted that the presenter stood against the pressure to lighten her skin to fit in.
Spa Eau Claire I know black children buying these things without the knowledge of parents, should we hold those children accountable. We shouldn't make excuses but we should be aware of the causes and the illegal distribution should be targeted. The should be more awareness. People like you always believe free will without understanding other factors that play a role.
Tv Robotic - Yep, if you want a tan get it natural or accept you are not tan. If you want to be lighter again, accept that your skin not light. EVERYONE ACCEPT YOUR SKIN TONE!!!
Ok cause when i saw the before picture i was like he wasn't dark anyway. 🤷🏾♀️ Lord help us all. The only thing I've ever tried to lighten was my chin area. Instead of waxing my facial hair I plucked and now I have really dark spots. Hmmm, as I continued watching I see he was a darker in his youth.
Mshoza passed away in 2020 due to complications of diabetes. One can't help to wonder if the chemicals in skin bleaching cream contributed to her death. She was only 37.
Let's not make dubious claims like that. It's most likely she got diabetes either from the stuff she ate (if it's type 2 diabetes) or genetics (type 1). Very unfortunate she did not prioritize her health though.
The dark skinned model on the photoshoot was extremely beautiful. Meanwhile the young lady who is endorsing the bleaching product looks like Ronald McDonald. Anytime you can tell a person that their choices may cause harm to their bodies yet persist in doing so, then you already know you are dealing with a truly stupid person. They either believe it will not happen to them or the effects are just not real.
Or they hate themselves so much they would rather die trying this (bleaching) then to remain the same and try loving themselves. I don't think they are stupid. I think they have very low self-esteem. That makes people do remember crazy things.
I think the trap is that a lot of us suffer from hyperpigmentation. You try remove these spots with such products and then boom the compliments are endless and you start believing that it's because your light, when in fact it because your skin is even toned.
This truth here!!! Do you know when I get spot it is very noticeable...I try to use natural products and dermabrasion. Hydroquinone is very harsh for the skin and its painful to me to use. Vitamin C is awesome!!!!! The sun is not your friend it will ruin you skin and give you leather face....Sunscreen!!!!!!!!
But you can get tested and safe products for hyperpigmentation. Like tranexamic acid, it's great for the purpose and works safely even on deep skin tones. No need to use the harsh and toxic stuff. And sunscreen! Even darker skin benefits from SPF because it will prevent hyperpigmentation caused by UV light.
Riiiiiiiiiight.... oh please I've been in SA for several times and they just do that for the camera every single one can get one of these everywhere and the police officers make even own money by selling those products for their own benefits behind the scene .... GET DA F*CK OUTTA HERE.... PLEASE OFFICERS (smhwrme)
It’s lowkey heartbreaking the way the female rapper remains in staunch denial at the end of the video when she’s confronted with the reality of what she’s endorsing. She’s determined to forever prioritize lighter skin over potentially dying or having her own skin rot away like that one poor woman’s. Then again, her denial is of the sort that revolves around not wanting to know- as if remaining in the dark about what those creams do will shield her from the reality. She herself admitted to having had an expert explain what the product contained but she can’t remember because she didn’t want to. The imagine of Beyonce on her blouse speaks volumes- aesthetics over health. I resist judging her though, as I have no idea what it’s like to be under that kind of cultural/racial pressure. The whole concept is so sad and I just hope she takes care of herself because I truly feel for people like Jeff and the lady that damaged her skin beyond repair. She must live in pain every day, I hope at least being treated for it can minimize that. I’m sure once people are past being truly helped, they do learn their lesson and shouldn’t be shamed- just use their stories as cautionary tales for others. That said, it’s great to see some South Africans embrace their beautiful, natural dark skin and promote it proudly as we saw in that photoshoot.
She unfortunately ended up dying. News says because of diabetes, but I'm thinking it's from liver and kidney damage from hydroquinone skin bleaching, seeing as she couldn't even be in the sun. Just really sad and unnecessary.
Are we still talking about the same country that supposedly has overcome Apartheid?? Those guys grew up with the ideals of Nelson Mandela in their textbooks.. can all this hard fight and blood and suffering be forgotten soo easily?? 😣😢
The lighter skin doesn't even look natural here. It looks almost cadaverous in a sense. Simply Casket Ready. Just horrid. There is a level of liberation to be felt when the decision is made to love yourself in spite of the negativity. It's the best kind of love in my opinion.
The black model is absolutely stunning, I adore her skin tone it’s beautiful. I really hope these people stay true to themselves, you can’t change your roots ❤.
I hate you guys😂😂😂She’s absolutely right (and that’s about the only this lie of a documentary got right) that’s how rare and ridiculous skin bleaching is in SA...ppl kick her for it and I think she’s not well each time I see her on TV or magazine. My Mum says she used to rap, I’m 20, no idea what she sings but I know her as the bleached famous woman
That model with darker skin near the end is gorgeous!!! Her bone structure is wonderful and goes well with her color, she's much prettier than the rapper for sure!
My sister told me that few weeks ago someone asked her why she doesn't bleach her skin because she is beautiful but would look way more beautiful if she was lighter 😥
It's crazy that he is What bleaching His Self to become a rapper really and to promote harmful chemical Trust me they know that the product that they are using is legal What are they going to do when they get married and have children are they want to bleach them child will be confused wondering They are dark skin and their Parents are light skinned
And there Government Are letting these prada be sold right out on their street Why record they have any hand in the cookie jar not just Making money off the product being sold but helping to bring it in Trust me It's all about the Benjamins
The college boy they interviewed, jeff, was so handomse and happy even before the skin bleaching. So sad that skin bleaching is so big in so many countries
If these black women and men took all the work that they do in destroying their features and used it to promote their natural features , we can change the standards of beauty to work in our favor.
Instead of promoting looks, people should think about promoting their behaviour, their work results, self-discipline, learning and contribution to the society.
@@SintraPT Yes! It's a really superficial attitude to have. I seriously doubt that people aren't getting jobs because of skin color. They're not hired because they focused on skin not skill!
I wish people could see how beautiful they already are. Society is ruining so many people's self esteem for no reason. Some people change to fit in and some people change to stand out. Don't buy in to all of the false hype. Change the world with what you do, not how you look.
I hate it when people have so much hate to say when people of color want to use skin lightening products but they say nothing when pale people want to get tan and use tanning products. Its a race double standard. People assume you don't love yourself and you wanna be white because you lighten your skin and it always turns into a race thing but thats not true because no one makes these assumptions when pale people want their skin complexion to be darker. Its all about your preference and what you think looks best on you. You can use tanning products or lightening products.
White people are a problem? It's so idiotic, is someone is black and want to be white because of "?", it means HE or SHE have a problem. Inside own head.
It's interesting that even the reporter describes herself as dark skinned when I don't feel she is at all. I can only imagine how people who are much darker than her feel in Bangladesh.
I am dark skinned. I have never felt a need to be lighter skinned. I honestly feel like they are blaming their full insecurities on "racism". Every culture has different ideas of what's looks nice
some person well blemishes are certainly more noticeable but as for aging faster I don't think so, everyone ages differently depending on their race and specific ancestral genes.
I have a normal Filipino skin color yet people here in Manila thinks I am dark and two of then literally calls me "Negra". I just shrug. I love my skin color.
Yes love your color.. the negrits were the original there. They may be trying to disrespect you but know your skin says I have blood that was first here 😛
iantonio12391 I’m so sorry for all these ignoramaous calling you out of your name, Sweetie. To me Filipino have BEAUTIFUL SKIN TONES. And just know this, melanin skin PRESERVES VERY WELL. We don’t have all the skin problems like others have where they have to have BOTOX, FACELIFTS, PDO & etc at early ages so appreciate your color. I’m a 48 year old caramel doll that pass for my late 20’s or early 30’s ALL THE TIME. And I love it. So keep that melanin going. You definitely will appreciate it when you hit your 40’s, 50’s. TRUST & BELIEVE. 🙂🇹🇹
Maybe it's because a lot Filipinos do use bleaching creams? Most of the Filipino expats where I live tend to be very fair skinned, yet I saw different on a travel show where the Philippines was featured.....
This really hits home, colorism is so prevalent in communities of color. I tried to bleach my skin in college because I wanted to be more appealing. Growing up with a wide nose, coily hair, and dark skin in a predominantly white school and university made me feel incredibly undesirable.
@mr. asshole That's just your opinion. And, I think darker skin is 1000x more beautiful than lighter skin. (I'm not dark, by the way.) People bleach their skin not only because some think it's more beautiful, but, for political power too (as mentioned in the video 2:13).
They need to also ban these creams in more West African, Asian & Caribbean countries. This epidemic needs to end asappp! Love yourself and the skin you’re in !
Ok, I'm from South Africa. Sad as it is, skin bleaching isn't as prevalent as this documentary makes it out to be. Yes, there are some black people who are ignorant enough to use these creams. The majority of us are a proud black people that looks down upon those who try to erase their heritage. Secondly, Mshoza never was/is not the biggest rapper in SA. And she's never been an icon. Please get your facts straight. She's a has-been who has recently made headlines for bleaching her skin and having various surgical procedures, including lip fillers. Thanks for the informative doccie though!
Jacqui This is the best comment here. And I think Mshoza looks hideous and ridiculous ! A 'has been' hilarious ;) I'm a light skin woman in the US. Believe me, it isn't all what it's cracked up to be. Here, if your're black, no matter how light your skin tone, you're still treated and looked upon as 'less than'. Take your ass to Whiteyville. They'll let you know your light skin don't f-in matter. It'll be: " Get out and take your cream with you. We don't want Ni****'s here". Real quick. I love being black. Wouldn't want to be anything else.
I have a few SA friends and this came as a shock to me, because none of them came across as wanting to be anything other than black...so I agree with your comment
Honestly the best thing they can do is social change. Changing the mindset of the people, especially the children about their skin and teach them how to love themselves. Let's make these practices a thing of the past. Natural is the new cool. I lived in South Africa when I was a kid and it holds a really special place in my heart, I hope that the whole of Africa will be free from colorism some day soon.
There is no hate here. It's just extroverts trying to maximize their social clout by any means necessary. Look at make up or tanning. It's the same with dumb extroverts everywhere. Find me a black nerd who bleaches.
I can't believe there are still people going through dangerous risks to look more beautiful, whether it's skin-whitening, plastic surgery, and the such. Everyone just needs to accept themselves the way they are, plus there is good modeling wear for all skin tones where no one has to result in operating or chemical risks.
@@ilikekookies1827 your bad English made me think you were being an asshole. I love the skin I'm in, ever had an issue with it. Society hasn't swayed my views that beauty comes in plenty of shades. Mine included 😏
I understand how they felt.... I am someone who have dark skin and people would make fun of me because of that. But now I am ok with my skin color... I love myself.
@donnamarkyang You are beautiful ♡ no matter what your skin color is... im a 23 year old white girl who lives on the south side of chicago in a black community and sometimes i wish i was black because i feel like i dont fit in. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL; WE ARE BEAUTIFUL ☆
@@ELP1125 Didn't say that. Though it might be just me, but your OP blamed it on an hypothetical ranking of colors. Its more likely just people not being content with what nature gave them, be they white or black.
They don't have to bleach their skin. Society has to change its beauty standards, role models and the concept of being eligible based on your skin color. As well as sensitize ourselves and the future generations to embrace and love the diversity of skin colors.
Same in Philippines. If your skin is dark, you’ll get teased and bullied but if you have lighter skin, you’re already considered attractive and beautiful.
AdamForExample My mom would always tell me and my sister she wants her grandkids to have light skin and blue eyes because I’m still with my Pinoy boyfriend for almost 5years now and she’s still against it. We’re from Philippines living here in Canada.
Fair or dark skin is a norm in southeast asia.. it does not determine status or familical root, even one family can have dark and fair skinned members at once as what is in your family.. but often I heard the stress is real in the Philippines particularly for ladies. I think Filipino media brainwash is to be blamed.. they always pick fair skinned female as leading celebrities. But somewhere outside in foreign lands.. often I see the fair skinned and good looking Filipino ladies date dark skinned Indian men, some of the men could also be much elder or already married, yeah we know it's always about the money.. on the other hand we also often see dark skinned Filipino ladies with white, caucasian men.. and quite many of them are in serious relationship or married to each other. So life always has its blessings in return for those who are discriminated and it is never a right thing for a mother to compare her children especially on things that comes by nature.
It's a big problem in Asia too. Skincare packaging and ads use code words like "brightening" or "radiant" instead of "whitening" or "bleaching" but everybody knows what that stuff is. Eish that rapper looks like a ghost
No, not really. They don’t do the same thing. Brightening in Asian skincare products are fading dark spots, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation. The products aren’t suppose to bleach or whiten your skin. Yes it is a problem, but the products aren’t the same. They’re called the same everywhere. Source: theklog.co/what-whitening-means-in-korean-beauty/
I am Caucasian I used to go every summer to the beach to get a dark tan when I was younger, then I stopped because it made me look older, I had developed a sun stain on my forehead that would never go away, I used a skin lightner that I got at the pharmacy only on that spot and it's gone. it's odd how some people want their skin lighter and others get deep dark tans because they want it darker, I suppose we are never happy.
kheya barai Not every shade is beautiful. Some people have unattractive skin tones for example: India and some European countries where a lot of people have irritated looking skin.
Dark skin, especially in Africa, is to protect the skin where the sunlight is more intense. People in Nordic countries have lighter skin because the sun is less intense, and without sunlight penetrating the skin their bodies will be unable to metabolize Vitamin D.
I'm European and stores here are full of tanning sprays and bronzing creams. When I lived in Asia, almost everyone was using bleaching products and staying out of the sun as much as possible; the products are "whitening" there, and "bronzing" here. Best lesson to remind us we should embrace how we are. White is beautiful, black is beautiful.
MrRedwhite12 You are right, and one of the worst mind f-cks is to be told that you are not worthy of being allowed to make choices, and need big brother policies pushed on you by government officials. Everything has risks, and adults should be able to weigh risks and benefits and decide for themselves. When the government gets involved, almost inevitably things get more, not less, dangerous. Forced to go "underground" products end up being produced by unscrupulous people who don't list ingredients, start competing with other unscrupulous people to come up with stronger stuff, and don't track or care about their customers. Anyone who thinks making something people want illegal will prevent them from getting it needs to take a good look at what the so called "war on drugs" has accomplished, and not accomplished. While teaching us all to love ourselves and others just the way we are is a noble ambition, we need to also accept that some will always want to change things about themselves, and the best way to protect people is to give them accurate information, access to products that are labeled properly, the right to decide for themselves, and to get help for any complications that might arise without fear of being shamed, arrested, or fined.
Yea I agree, it looks like Michelle is wearing an actually face mask. Personally I love dark skinned girls, so beautiful. Irs a shame what the media has done. Beyonce añd other celebrities bleach there skin, since then,I have noticed a rise in people bleaching there skin.

You don’t get it and like always it’s easier to just point fingers and say people with dark skin don’t realize there beautiful...a lot of this hatred stems from white colonization, white control of the economy, and white standards of beauty

G. Berwald naaah it could be true.. I’m full black but naturally a light skin, I’ve got like Beyoncé’s skin colour. For Germans I was never white enough to be considered German, although I AM a german. I was born and raised here... but at the same time I was never dark enough so they always thought I was mixed. Same goes for when I visited my parents home country. I wasn’t dark enough for the citizens to accept me as „one of them“. They directly figured that I wasn’t from the country and directly treated me differently... but I don’t even care anymore about such things. I know who I am.

Yellow?

LISTENNNNNNNN lol they don't wanna talk about that!
Yea it looks more fresh when it's even toned, regardless of skin tone
But you can get tested and safe products for hyperpigmentation. Like tranexamic acid, it's great for the purpose and works safely even on deep skin tones. No need to use the harsh and toxic stuff. And sunscreen! Even darker skin benefits from SPF because it will prevent hyperpigmentation caused by UV light.

Same in Philippines. If your skin is dark, you’ll get teased and bullied but if you have lighter skin, you’re already considered attractive and beautiful.

Crazy!

In Asia people think that lighter skins means you are rich staying indoors and darker means you are poor working in the fields...

@@bobafettsrightleg TRUTH
A. L. Ok maybe that’s true, but listen, many women in India and even in countries like Japan have problems with colourism and skin bleaching.
Such a shame to see my African sisters and brothers hating their skin like this
So 😭😭
Black is beautiful
Not only black but every shade is beautiful 😊
kheya barai Not every shade is beautiful. Some people have unattractive skin tones for example: India and some European countries where a lot of people have irritated looking skin.
You is a star That's your way of thinking.
Amen Tatenda... it's funny we have the same beautiful name ❤️🙏🏾
Off topic, but that Bangladeshi Journalist is just GORGEOUS!
Isn't she just 💕
I was looking for this comment she's gorgeous but when she said dark bengladeshi I rolled my eyes she not dark I've seen darker
Dark skin, especially in Africa, is to protect the skin where the sunlight is more intense. People in Nordic countries have lighter skin because the sun is less intense, and without sunlight penetrating the skin their bodies will be unable to metabolize Vitamin D.
The guy was so honest
“On tv u have to sell a fake world”
Basically the synopsis of the video!
Lol Mshoza is actually not that famous 😹😹😹 I'm south African Nd trust me I don't wanna be like her 😹😹😹 I love my melanin Thank you
🤣🤣🤣 right!
She had no success after bleaching.
She flopped fast
Right....I love my dark skin and lol I don't wanna be like her
This is true most celebs who bleach in SA get shamed a lot
Yeah she was a thing in like 2004 ...no one is out here screaming her name
I'm European and stores here are full of tanning sprays and bronzing creams. When I lived in Asia, almost everyone was using bleaching products and staying out of the sun as much as possible; the products are "whitening" there, and "bronzing" here.
Best lesson to remind us we should embrace how we are. White is beautiful, black is beautiful.
Thank you...all skin colors are beautiful. We just need to embrace it and feel confident.😍
Yes 👏🏼 all skin is beautiful!! I have learned the hard way being pale and burning my skin in tanning beds to become darker
World has been under European Influence/Power, So, long; sadly, the Damage is Done.
You can condition the mind to believe anything
MrRedwhite12 I wish I could do that.
Apparently so.... Most ppl believe in a God. Cognitive dissonance is a mf
Yeah, you can even condition the mind to think beauty is worth cancer. No pain, no gain, I guess?
The Devil is killing us , Lord Deliver us
MrRedwhite12 You are right, and one of the worst mind f-cks is to be told that you are not worthy of being allowed to make choices, and need big brother policies pushed on you by government officials.
Yet here in the UK we spend a fortune on fake tan and/or sun beds. 🤷♀️ Crazy.
Those fake lightskins look so unnatural 🤦🏽♀️
Yea I agree, it looks like Michelle is wearing an actually face mask. Personally I love dark skinned girls, so beautiful. Irs a shame what the media has done. Beyonce añd other celebrities bleach there skin, since then,I have noticed a rise in people bleaching there skin.
Adriana M What makes it unnatural are her features, a fake dark skin or light skin can be spotted if the features look off.
@@fortzprod.8096 yes, that was my friends case, she then had a nose job,to make it thinner, and now she has trouble breathing, and always sounds like she has a cold, she deeply regrets the procedure now,as not only does she have problems breathing from her nose, but it is so thin,it looks like micheal jacksons nose after his opps. She even admits now that media has alot to play with ,what is and should be classed as beautiful. I loved her natural, button nose and dark skin, and my friend also misses her old natural look, she hates looking in the mirror now, and suffers from depression because of it all. Plz if anyone reading this ,n thinking of having any procedures done, plz do not rush into it,and learn to love your self ,maybe counseling would be a good idea b4 havinv it done.😘ps. REAL GIRLS ARE NEVER PERFECT AND PERFECT GIRLS ARE NEVER REAL. ❤
Unnatural ad outright ugly; I'm sorry.
Exactly you can always tell when someone is bleaching there skin
This guy😂😂does he know we prefer tall, dark and handsome
Rest lol they don’t I’ll take me a piece of special dark anyyyyy day
Not everybody.
that's what I'm saying and I'm FROM South Africa ugh
You prefer that bc your culture tells you to. They are doing the same, but plz go ahead and speak for everyone.
@@royriley6282 she's speaking for the people who do prefer darkskins, for whatever reason.
The officer isn’t bleaching HER FOUNDATION JUST DON’T MATCH 😂😂
She kept many confiscated bleaching creams
😂😂😂😂😂
it is hard to find darker foundation. they have more now days though
I was kinda wondering
And gave the extra to her family and friends
As a South African woman I am absolutely shocked and embarrassed at this! I always thought we were abit better (when it comes to skin bleaching) than other African countries eg. Nigeria. 😳
Also, RIP to our Kwaito star Mshoza 🕊️😢
Me too. This comes as big surprise to me because I always believed South Africans don't do bleaching😢
We are this is afrikaaner propaganda.
You know sisi us black south africans we don't bleach we are khoisan orgin.
This is nonsense.
Human trafficing in SA needs the same energy and force!
They did one of human trafficking from Honduras to Mexico you should check it out it’s super sad but we need to bring awareness to human trafficking.
What’s funny is dark skinned people want to get lighter but light skinned people what to get darker
White or Lighter skinned people wanna get darker but without the issues that come with having dark skin, while darker people wanna get lighter because in some of their minds white is right & better & they can't accept themselves for who they are.
People always want what they don't have.
Discontentment😞
@@mrmrsbaron5364 white people want darker skin which means a tan and not black dark sure black peopke comes in all shade of brown but white people only want that slightly tan Its not common that white people wants dark skin when there are various of black people.who do want a pale white skin
@@mrmrsbaron5364 well yeah they want to get darker because it looks as if they went on vacation, they don't want to look black or brown lol
yeah
It's sad people with dark skin don't realise how beautiful their skin colour really is
I mean no one ever talks about the universal hatred towards their tone, from other races. Sticks and stone won’t break their bones, but prolonged deliberate bashing will
You don’t get it and like always it’s easier to just point fingers and say people with dark skin don’t realize there beautiful...a lot of this hatred stems from white colonization, white control of the economy, and white standards of beauty
@@randialade8751 So I can't say their skin colour is beautiful because I'm white?
Lauren Farrow lol you didn’t say there skin is beautiful you said “it’s sad people with dark skin don’t realize how beautiful their skin color really is” which means your not educated about the history of colonization in Africa and why dark skin people want to bleach there skin.
@@randialade8751 how dare are you? Like excuse me... She didn't say anything bad and I am sure that she got the message.....You don't gotta be so mean and disrespectful....I am black and white mixed myself and All skin colors are beautiful just the way they are... Pariodddd... Go and get your manners back
The lady that said she is now considered "yellow bone" you are at best brown skin. It's still hard to believe that this is still going on.
This is so sad. My sympathy goes out to darkskinned people who face discrimination for not being lighter.
I love people like you who understand what its like to be a dark skinned women. The struggle is real
@I am individualCan you please tell me when, how, and where "white" people faced discrimination?
They choose to be victimized.
Black women are soooo beautiful and this hurts me to the core! When these women skin bleach it makes them look scary I just want them to love themselves because they are queens. MELANIN IS POPPIN!
DotsyGlammm say it again hun!!!!!
Sassy sas THANK YOU BOO! I swear I thought this was going to be a hater comment and I was going to straight ignore lol! But thanks so much for the Love Queen 😘😍😍😍
DotsyGlammm right!!!!!! Np hun 💕💕💯
Sassy sas 😘😘😘
DotsyGlammm the weaves are disgusting too ! Its ridiculous ! Black women dont need that shit ! They have hair !
I'm half Brazilian and half German. For the Germans I wasn't never white enough for being German oder dark enough to be considered as Brazilian. But I never cared. Really NEVER..
Brasilians come in all colors. I doubt your story....
G. Berwald ok. When you say so... grand master of truth 🙄
Superbumbes Ich stimme dir zu ♥👑
I know who I am.
you surelly never lived in Brazil, am I right? Because there is no such thing as a "brazillian" skin tone. Only foreigners believe this kind of thing.
This has to be a form of body dysmorphia - how they do this to their skin and think they look better is beyond me!
I have a huge respect for people who accept them the way they are!
This is disgusting and its almost the same in here - INDIA!
This is pitiful. She said it burns....That's because it's poison!! Stop hating yourself.
It's not him it's the WORLD YOU think light is better so you have tricked him see the devil has people thinking that white and light is better this is all against God and y'all don't even realize that it's the devil
It's not her as you and the rest of the world believing that light is better and so she's just trying to make you and the rest of the world more comfortable she's treated better by you and the rest of the world when your lighter is fat and I'm also tell you that it's the devil
Karyn Kalu Karyn Kalu True that! This makes God so sad. It's not His will that we change our skin color, hair texture, plastic surgery, all these things are sending people to hell. There are many videos on RUclips about people who had NDE, went to hell and saw many, many women there because of using beauty products. Checkout Peniel Ngonde channel
How sad....
@@karynkalu4964 AMEN AMEN! The best comment I have read in a long time which I have said to countless black teens and adults.
I'm a very dark skinned African lady sometimes when I walk on the street men call me a blackberry but I don't care coz black is beautiful a lot of pipo laugh at my complexion but I don't mind coz I luv myself the way I am
kate mangamela yesss black is beautiful
kate mangamela You should love the way you are. America is same freaking way disgusting people.
Bbgcc Bbbb true that
I love your comment! Continue to love yourself and carry your black beauty with pride. Also pass it on to all children who need to hear it so they are protected against shallow and manipulative people who might tell them otherwise.
kate mangamela its painful to here all this i can understand even we Indians are going crazy to achieve lighter skin. Thank god i have stopped this.
That cop lady looks like she uses some too lol
Lmfao guys I'm a South African & that Mshoza is a washed up irrelevant rapper. Nobody even follows what she does. She's the laughing stock in my country
Tabela Skade Bro yazi
Tabela Skade well said I'm sure this is 15-17 years back Mshoza doesn't exist anymore, I mean she's no longer popular, she was popular for only 2-3 years from my knowledge.
Thank God for that..
Lizz Konstantara exactly
Interesting
Also very good point about African countries having black governments but no economical power which basically renders them powerless
miniimufin I agree 100%
That’s because the black governments are busy plundering the koffers. Everything the average African fought for is completely meaningless to the politicians. They don’t care if the people starve, as long as they are rich and protected.
miniimufin when the apartheid ended it was only a cover, for the public image. 90% of the wealth was and is still own by the settlers. Racism isn't a legal thing on paper but it's still going strong
Do you know South Africa's GDP....
you are not making scence and why do you have to put race in everything by saying dumbass blacks dumbass whites making everything in every country a mess with beauty standerds which are so wrong white is not better and also being ignorant and racist to every black person who speaks truth so don't come and say the law is protecting black people coz that aint true look at America HUH!
The black model in the photoshoot was so incredibly beautiful.
She is stunning!
Yes, but I've seen darker models in the South African Vogue and Elle repeatedly. I feel it might have made even more sense to talk about this fashion shoot in the context of hairstyles.
AGREED
@Wee Chatt yes she is you dumb minded shit. Stop being jealous just because she looks prettier than your ugly self.
Yes, she really is! My mother is her complexion.
This totally broke my heart, i thought South Africans were proud black people. This is mental health pandemic for our people so sad. We need more black therapist y'all
