- A Metal Pless snow plow vs. Snowmaggedon 2022. This big John Deere 6130M equipped with a equally big Metal Pless plow clearing this mess. Ottawa Ontario will finish this incredible one day storm with almost 50cm of snow. The blizzard like conditions were spectacular. At one point I heard 12cm fell in one hour. Wow! Snow removal and winter operations will take days to clear this.

Nice set up, what is your lift height on the plow?
Those plows are awesome I’d love to get one for my komatsu loader only problem is we have not had much snow makes it hard to justify buying one
They are pretty sweet. There is no harm investing in quality equipment.
I ran a metal pless on a Komatsu WA270. I was incredible!! It would move almost as much snow as two other loaders with regular pusher box plows and scrape cleaner!
I noticed a small gap between the blade and the wings. Does it leave a trail of snow behind?
I've seen some that do a bit and some that don't.
When your plow costs more than your tractor
I love plowing big snow. This operator must be new but stick with it and you'll catch on.
Yep, but he's doing OK. I've run metal pless plows on tractors a lot and there's no need to have so much downforce that the front tires aren't getting traction. It'll scrape clean with just the plow weight. Also, lots of forward movement with the plow in the air.
Come on guys, *snowmagaddon? 40 cm is a farcry from it
It is in Toronto where we don't have anywhere to put it. It also ended up being closer to 60 for us at least.
plow not bad operator not good .smashing into carts not good.
He just gave it a tickle. Part of me hoped to see a cart get flattened.
Not crazy about that set up can’t pile up the snow
This company Sunshine would likely have a wheel loader coming around to pile it better later. They have lots of nice equipment.

I think they are Nokian winter tractor tires. They pretty much make the best winter tires.
