- A sudden change in plan made this road trip to happen. Nothing was planned. It was a crazy decision and I at some point suffering from AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) regretted taking it but at last it was super adventure and one more of my trips on the list to remember.

Although altroz is good car. But we must appreciate the driver as well. He drove well but low beam is mandatory for such trips.

2nd leh ladakh is safe for 3 yrs kids? Specifically for breathing?
3rd how would be the weather in mid of june?

1 : It can survive but please don't hurry there. If you are not ok at any place than let any car pass and than follow it.
Damaged roads or water crossing pe aap bilkul aram se jaae, pehle caahe 5-10 cars ko pass krne de taaki aapko samhj aa jae ki tyre kidhr raakhna ha or kis speed me gaddi nikal jaaegi. Ek raasi zarur rakhe sath me mazboot si 5-10 meter ki, or ek pump rakhe hawa bharne ka 100-150 me mil jaega kisi cycle shop pe bus us pump ko 1 minute se zada mat chalna vrna garam hoke pipe phat jaaega.
ruk ruk me use krna agar zaroorat pade to.
2 : Ladakh is unsafe for everyone who is unfit. 3 year child ki body bahut healthy hoti ha because organs are young.
But Ladakh me Altitude ki vajah se Oxygen ki problem hoti ha. Uska solution ha ki aap manali ya kashmir, jis side se bhi jaae stay krte hue jaaae taki body ko altitude or low oxygen ki adat ho jae.
Seedhe Leh pahuchne ki galti na kare.
Best ha aap jogging krna shru krde with family taki stamina built up ho jaae and aap logo vajah thakne ke bajae enjoy kare.
5 din tak 15 min ki regular jogging bhi bahut assan and enjoyable kr degi trip.
3 : Weather will be good. Daytime me t shirt of night me jackets. High passed me day time me bhi thand hogi. Or kosish krna aap ki thanda garam na ho, andar heater chalake bahar mat jana ek dum. speacially for kid.
* MAIN point : Water intake krte rehna har 2-3 ghante me thoda thoda, zyada pyas ni lagti ha lekin body me water ki kumi ki vajah se tabyt kharab ho jati ha.

Bhagegi. Petrol me koi dikkat ni ha. Sirf thodi underpowered lagegi (Diesel ke comparison). Locals ki Alto ne mjhe overtake kara kaafi jagah. Winter me petrol infact -40 tak ni jamta. Diesel -10 ke bad thick hone shuru ho jata ha.

@@abhishekhingu it depends on your usage. If your usage is not on hills or you won't make off-road type trips than their is nothing wrong with Altroz XZ. Benefit of Nexon is that you get peace of mind because now a day every road is an off road. Petrol ki keemat bahut tezi se badh rahi ha or Nexon apko 10-15 ke beech degi or Altroz 12-17 ke beech milage degi. Agar in dono ko Alto samhj ke chalaoge to zaroor company claimed degi. Nexon lekr kch time baad aap CNG lagva sakte ho usage ke according , engine zada bhp ka ha to power itni drop ni hogi. Agar usage zada ha to aap Altroz CNG ka wait kr lo agar vo sahi me lauch ho rahi ha to. Company fitted CNG me koi issue ni hota, power me bhi bahut kum difference ata ha. Truck bhi kch CNG ke chal rahe ha. Agar CNG ni leni or use zada ha 2.5k kms per month se zada to Alroz Diesel base lelo aap. Nexon XM se behtr rahengi because mileage ki taraf se peace of mind rahega. Apke budget me 3 option ha. Altroz XZ, Nexon XM and Altro DieselDiesel (or Altroz XZ CNG agar aya to).

@@shashanktctagadur4662Maintenance is not an issue if you have extended warranty and zero dep insurance. Please go with extended warranty and get every service done on service center only. 6-9k service cost every 15k kms or 1 year which is ok. Additional expense only on part change like break pad, oils and more. Buy diesel only when you have more than 1800 kms run per month or else the premium of around 1.25 you pay for diesel engine will not be utilized, you will pay 1.25 lakh for better performance.

There is not such voice so far. Only a belt slipping noise which happened to come after a friend took it to Manali and semi ladakh trip short after. The elt noise fades away once some heat builds up. If it fades away than it is belt slipping.

agar aap 4 ya 5 people on board honge to zaroor aagega kisi bhi hatchack me vo bhi majorly sirf manali se lekar more plains ko touch krne tak ha 250 km ka patch. ye patch bahut kharab ha. Uske alava highways sab smooth ha. Local sightseeing ka kch idea ni. Kashmir se bahut smooth ha. Agar samhjdaari or patience se chalaoge to bhai kahi bhi major issue ni aaega bs halke se under belly touches honge. Log sedan bhi lekar jaate ha.

How was the road clearance? Did u face stones mud hitting to bumper or gear box below ? Please suggest
Yes, there were bumper and under belly touches quite often. Things would have been pathetic for under belly if we would have been fully loaded with lugagege and people. Only at few places of water crossing and stony patches, under belly hits couldn't be avoided. And the ground clearance ot this car is like any hatchback available in the market like swift, i20. Every hatch back will have ground clearance problem on bad roads. But it could easily survive bad roads with patience.

Koi issue ni ha agar gadi sahi ha or driver samhjdaar. Baaki Allah ke brhose to sab ha hi. 27:33 pe dekho aap i20 water crossing cross krke band ho gai thi. To kch bhi ho sakta ha vaha kabhi bhi. But log help krte ha yaha. Maine bhi unhe Nearest hotel pe drop kra tha

Did you face any ground clearance issues? Did your car suffer any hits on the bottom (minor or major)?
Yes, GC issue as like any other Hatchback. Bottom hits were minor and mild but nothing bad visible at the bottom . Any hatchback with 5 people on board and luggage will suffer in Ladakh on the Manali Leh stretch. How many can a driver avoid depends on the skills.

No issues if you are 2-3 people.
4-5 people and their luggage will drop the groud clearance by a good margin.
Than you have to be very cautious.
Any underbelly issue is the very first bad thing that could happen in Ladakh.
Avoid travelling in evening or night hours as the snow melts heavy in afternoon and the affects are visible after some good hours.
Never rush there, be easy.
If you are called a slow crawler than let it be, but never rush.
Let pass ten vehicles at any given place and wait when your sixth sense allows you to.
In short such terrain needs patience for even a 4×4. Forget 2WD.

Company se aa gya. Diesel engine specification check kr sakte ha aap. Model wise engine ni ata isme. 1.5 liter turbo charged in diesel.

I also have Altroz diesel... The tachometer in diesel Altroz is only till 6k rpm. Yours is till 8k. 8k is provided in petrol cars. Your car is petrol iTurbo or what?
