There are lots of third party controllers you can get for it like the PS3
I LOVE the split pad pro, 10000% worth it IMO. I now only play my switch in handheld and have only reattached my joycons once since buying it (for that one gym in pokemon where you need HD rumble to know where to walk on the ice). Tossing up whether or not I should get a set for my mum for Christmas to go with the switch I got her last year.
M &Ems eh it’s long since done now anyway. Makes playing witcher and Skyrim in handheld a million times better too, those games really suck with those dinky little joycon joysticks. I have noticed though that if I run forward a bit then just let go of the stick without centring it first it seems to snap back and rebound slightly to the other side making me turn around or run back the other way a couple steps, never been an issue but it just seems like either the tension is reasonably high on the sticks or they have a larger range of motion than others. Or both
Jessica Wilson would you recommend that I get it? I would still use the joycons since I like playing with my friends but for when I’m on my own would it help?
CG4165 YT absolutely. If you’re gonna play in handheld a lot and particularly if you’re gonna play games like skyrim, witcher, even Zelda etc - anything that takes more precise movements then it’s a must have in my opinion. Plus my sticks were drifting and I didn’t wanna buy new joycons knowing it would just happen again, these are way hardier. The mappable buttons on the back are awesome too - I map them to joystick clicks.
Just get one of the power a ones they're Wireless and you can play other games with it though sometimes they don't let you remap the controls because f*** you I guess so you have to use the control scheme meant for the regular controller
@@eclipse7418 just save up the money and get a switch with smash on there then you can get all the controllers you want plus there are lots of other good games on the switch

That Sonic Christmas sweater is AWESOME! ;A; Also, hey, my bro has that BOTW Sheikah Slate dock cover thing! It's really cool! I personally have a dock sock AND a tempered glass screen protector on my Switch. My siblings, too! Just safer that way, we think! lol.
I'm struggling to get the switch. I only have 3 days on my server job and I got to get my mom a TV for Christmas plus I been trying to get hired at other places but they don't seem to be hiring at all until January
I'm a delivery driver and it's always hit or miss for me. Here the past few weeks I've been making $50-$100 just in tips alone per night. And get paid hourly on top of that. But I know how it feels, the struggle is oh so real. I only get to work 4-5 hours per shift. If I got to work more I would be set.
I bought a used gaming laptop yesterday for $300, instead of a switch. I had to get it though. It was a $2400 laptop. I'm gonna try to keep it but I'm betting I will just flip it and make 3X the money.
The Power-A pro controller can do button mapping as well also I think it is a tad more chunky than the official pro controller which is better for bigger hands
I'm stoked for the X-Men pack. This game is why I bought my Switch. It's not as deep as other RPGs, but it has tons of great Marvel characters and locations with very fun gameplay.
I got a dock sock recently, but I ended up removing it. Yes, it does protect the screen against careless docking, but it also acts as a padded blanket. The Switch gets quite warm in the dock during gameplay, and poorer heat dissipation is the last thing it needs. I don't know. I'm conflicted about this. Thoughts?

A game I think deserves to be an honorable mention for games to get someone: God Eater 3. The game itself is basically anime monster hunter, with the gameplay removing the hunting-and-gathering part of MH, but making the combat faster paced and have a little more to it, with the player weapon having a melee, ranged, and shield part. With 8 melee weapons types (Short Blade, Long Blade, Buster Blade, Boost Hammer, Charge Spear, Variant Scythe, Biting Edge, and Heavy Moon), 4 ranged types (Assault Gun, Sniper Gun, Shotgun, and Ray Gun) and 3 shield types (Buckler, Shield, and Tower Shield), there's plenty for players to mess with to find a combat style that suits them. Not only that, but there are many other things the game gives you to modify your play style further, with Burst Arts, Burst Art Effects, Acceleration Triggers, Engage, and more. Likewise the game is also more story focused and has many missions, with roughly 70 missions making up the main story alone. The game also comes with many optional missions to do as one progresses and is getting more missions, side stories, and customization options through updates. Two are even made to show player skill: The incredibly challenging "Challenge to the Hounds" missions, and the Certification Missions added in updates that reward new costumes and accessories, alongside being displayed on the player's avatar card Overall, it's a fun game with a good amount of content for someone to go through. Even having played through it twice before and getting through it again on my switch as fast as I could to play with others, the main story still took me the better part of a week to get through.
Hey Kevin, most of the lan adapters including the one u are showing actually has a lower transfer speed then wifi so if u have decent internet you'd definitely prefer to use wifi whereas if you had bad internet the lan adapter is smart to have a more stable experience.
The thing with playing on WiFi is, that your transfer speed doesn't really affect the performance too much. The minimum transfer rate you need to play smoothly ist actually pretty low. The main concern when playing on WiFi is the stability. And because the switch doesn't have a good antenna you can get lagspikes pretty easily. LAN is way more stable. I play a lot of smash online and the Lan adapter really makes a big difference
yes the buttons also stop registering after a while you as well as the C stick you have to keep flicking it like 3-4 times for an attack to come out do not get it
Just want to let everyone know, Walmart has a Nintendo switch Mario Bowser Bundle. Its $299.99 comes with 2 red joy cons, a $20 e-shop card. a mario-bowser carrying case, and all the regular stuff you expect with a nintendo switch. It also is the new switch with the improved battery life!
Another game to consider is Minecraft. If you haven’t heard of it yet, take about three steps into the internet. Recently, the devs over at Mojang realeased one unified version of the game for Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, windows, iOS, and android. It’s plenty fun, and you can even play split screen on the consoles
Listen: I can tell you that the screen protector is perhaps THE most important accessory for your Switch aside from a micro SD card. True story, I accidentally dropped a sharp, pointy object facing downwards and the point landed right on the screen. After peeling that part of the screen protector off (it was still intact), I learned that it was only the screen protector that was damaged and not the screen. GET A SCREEN PROTECTOR!
Whats important is to get a glass one, the switches display is made out of plastic so its really hard to crack but at the same time extremely easy to scratch. So if you get a glass screen protector its far less likely to scratch and the only bad thing is price and that the glass can shatter.
Love the style of this video. Kinda in the market of a Pro Controller but with Pokémon but it seems Nintendo didn’t official make one and it seems PowerA is the best option do you or anyone else have any recommendations?
