I switched to Wilson this year because of what they do for autism research and for veterans. *veteran here and son is autistic. The clubs are great. It is hard to get fitted here in the US, but they do come around golf clubs every now and then. I have a fitting next week. Looking forward to the new wedges and driver.

Actually, Padraig Harrington is not the last major winner for Wilson. It was Gary Woodland at the 2019 US Open at Pebble Beach. Love my Wilson Staff irons. Cheers!

I just got a set of the Dynapower forged irons. For my money, they're the softest feeling irons in their category. I tested every major brand and nothing felt better. The fact that I gained 5 yards per club with the same lofts and my dispersion circle shrank significantly sealed the deal.

I use the D9 forged and love them. Just had a shaft fitting for them so new shafts being fitted 18 months after purchasing the clubs.
The last major winner with Wilson clubs is Gary Woodland by the way.

I was fortunate when I dropped into my local range to find a Wilson rep where I tried out the D7's and D9's. The D7 forged feel amazing, and have done for last couple of years. I was fitted for 5-GW for £569.00. Bargain. They still look and feel brand new, but may change the grips at the end of this year.

I owned the Wilson D350 and they were good for there time. As you get older you needs Clubs that can get you a little more Distance. These Clubs can be a really good option especially for the price point..

I took up golf in 2023 after a mountain bike accident that saw me end up with 4 broken ribs. I bought a set of D7 irons that the club pro had had lying around for a few years unsold and got them at a great price. Absolutely love them and they are perfect for where I’m at in my game. They have seen me drop from my initial handicap of 24 when I first got it in February of this year to now be sitting on 16 six months later. I’m not experienced enough to say whether or not there are clubs out there more suited to me but I certainly have no complaints about the Wilson D7 irons.

FYI Wilson now has a FIT AI golf club that measures 12,000 data points per swing. So your local golf pro can give you a fitting. My local pro has it and I'm going for a fitting soon.

Price... was a key factor for my purchase of my D9 irons. $399 US 5-GW. Also have their fang putter which has nice allignment, but needed to add a bit of weight and is now very good. Went to the PGA super store for the putter. Driver I went Tour edge C523 and let go of the Cobra. Consistency of that tour edge was phenomenal for length and dispersion. Thanks to you and James for the vids and have a good round.

I'm seriously considering these. However, they are stronger lofted than my current SIM 2 irons. I'm going to hit these and the forged. I really like the looks of these. The polished chrome is sharp!

Just picked up the Dynapower Forged. Got fitted at local pros. Couldn't believe how much I got on with the club in comparison to the "big boys" ones. Did some further research before buying. Read an article where someone at Wilson said they recognise where their reputation is with a certain demographic. Think package set maker. So targeting younger generations currently where the perception isnt there. Or a brand your dad doesn't rate. Think this brands prices will recalibrate as their reputation grows. Forgetting reputation and focusing on quality of product and results I'm getting. Blown away
